First visit to Nations since I was a child growing up in Moraga. This is the Orinda location, they moved it across the street a few years back according to my family. Same Nations I remember, burger took forever to make (same as always!) and it had so much onion, lettuce and mayo that the bun disintegrated halfway through (again, exactly as I remember). Fries are still mediocre. Restaurant was filled with unsavory types which seemed unusual in Orinda...maybe because it was Thanksgiving.Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese!Parking: Street parking in front.Kid-friendliness: Highly!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat.

Small location but it was easy to pick up my online order. Parking can be hard during busy times but lately it’s been easy to get one right out front. The burger and fries were tasty!

I hate to admit it but it's probably been 15+ years since I ate @ Nations! Unfortunately, I don't work or live near any locations.I was in Orinda and I saw a Nation's! Wow, I was so excited! I ordered a cheese burger with grilled onions and a whole double crust apple pie online. No wait to pick up my order.They both were so delicious! The cheeseburger was juicy and cheese was oozing everywhere. Sorry no picture of the 🍔. The pie crust was flaky and the apples were tart and fresh.I forgotten how tasty the food is at Nation's. I'll be back soon.

Love this place. Full delicious Breakfast any time a day. Juicy hamburgers with a side of bacon, my favorite. Orinda is smaller than Concord, but efficiently run with friendly staff.After the movie at the theater we are returing for pie!.

Visited on New Year’s Day for breakfast and the 2 ladies behind the counter were slammed, food came out fast, hot and delicious and they were both so nice. You have to ask for jam for toast but otherwise they have everything you need. It was the Perfect food to offset the night before. Love their cheesecake too!

Very tasty food and generous portions at a reasonable price. Great staff, too. Four stars only because they put the burger toppings together upside down, so that the lettuce is directly on top of the meat which heats and wilts the lettuce before you can eat it. The beef patty should go on the bottom bun, then onion, then tomato, then lettuce on top, followed by the top bun. Also, sometimes there's way too much mayonnaise on the burger. Aside from these minor complaints, this place rocks (and rolls).

I didn't think you could do a bad grilled cheese sandwich but oh boy yes you can. Absolutely awful. The "good" old orange cheese with a margarine soaked bread and some white dip that I couldn't even identify. Fries were awful too The place was packed with kids and judging by my sandwich it's easy to see how youth in this country grows up to obesity. Awful -$10 thrown away.

This is a classic, old school burger and pie shop. Nothing fancy, but everything tasty. Staffed with some loyal ladies who have worked here for years and provide good, friendly service. My most recent visit was to buy a couple of pies to take home for Easter. One was a cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries and red glaze... A big hit with the kids!Parking: Parking directly next to the restaurant

Unfortunately this burger chain is no longer what it used to be. The burgers are smaller, the chess is absolutely horrible. Fries and shakes are no longer good at all. I've been going to Nation's since I was 3 years old. 1971 and I will NOT go back. Poor quality control, overpriced. Almost $50 for 2 normal sized people. I'm 😭😭😭

Stay away from here from 1p to 3ish: CHAOS from all the middle schoolers coming in. They're loud, obnoxious & running/shoving each other: priviledged kids terrorizing/disturbing patrons is unacceptableStaff/service is actually excellent but it's lost when one cannot enjoy their meal.I came out to eat in my car and I'm watching all these priviledged kids: hanging on trees, bothering people & others outside the theater, actually being told to "go away" = parents: teach your kids better.

One of the worst burgers and grilled cheese that I’ve ever had. Had to wait a while for the food and everything was bland/cold.The cheese on the grilled cheese wasn’t even melted! The cheeseburger didn’t come with any cheese either.

Great location, directly off hwy 24, always very clean, great employees, always parking available on the side. Also its has two different seating areas one inside the building, and another seating area that is enclosed from the elements except for a door open. My favorite nations to get a amazing cheeseburger. A+
