I would give zero stars to the pharmacy if possible. They are always overwhelmed and make me waste so much time. The message often says they are closed well after their lunch hour is over; they hang up on callers; and they screw up prescriptions. They are terrible. They have a convenient location in downtown Orinda right off the freeway, but the CVS Pharmacy in Moraga is INFINITELY better.

Great, helpful employees but VERY understaffed. Usually there are 2 non-pharmacy employees in the entire store and last time I went there was only one. This store is large enough to need at least 5 people at a time.

For its size, the store is well stocked. Staff always respectful. Never use motorized checkout. Why put a $17. Hr employee out of a job.

The absolute WORST pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. The same problems with refills every month. The same rude and unprofessional attitude by the entire pharmacy staff, including the pharmacist. My advice: Avoid CVS in Orinda and go to Rite Aid on the other side of the freeway.

No matter what time of day it is, there is always a 30-minute wait for me to be able to check out. They made me wait for 30 minutes the other day while the three of them were just chatting and, in the end, they forgot to apply my insurance, so I had to wait another 10 minutes. It's not uncommon. I can't believe that, in the face of so much negative feedback, no one is doing anything or caring.

I don’t know who I just spoke with at the pharmacy, but he HUNG UP ON ME. um,Your actual job is customer service and you should be fired. What if this was a life or death situation and you literally hung up on someone. Shame on you, do better.

Worst pharmacy experience in my 30 years! Waited on hold for probably close to an hour combined over two days. Idiots behind the counter. Calling ahead was a fail. Messed up requesting my rx from my home pharmacy. Used every excuse in the book. Problem with looking up my insurance. Overall just VERY UNHELPFUL! Never again. Went back again a year later now and am still 100% disappointed. If I were a manager I would be embarrassed but the idiocy behind the counter at the pharmcy. Here's some free advice if you're out of stock for something a customer needs to bring a card up to the pharmacy to obtain, e.g. sudafed take the cards off the shelf!!!!!!!!! Waste of my time & misleading. I'm going to wait on a pharmacy line to be told your out of stock?! Doesn't make sense.

Stay away for sure. So far, the WORST pharmacy I’ve dealt with. They are always out of my meds, have lazy, rude and incompetent pharmacists, and have lost multiple prescriptions. Someone in charge needs to get fired.

The staff are friendly and very helpful.Although they have a bare bones selection of items, they accommodate CVS coupons to the best of their ability, with what they do have in stock.This location is a convenient stop for me since parking is easy to find and I can hit up several other merchants within a one block radius for all of my other errands.

I have been on hold for over 30 minutes (still counting as I write this review).EVERY time I call this CVS store/pharmacy I NEVER get an answer. Most of the time I have a very simple question about store random things/returns/policies. Today, I have a simple question about pharmacy procedures as I am having a Surgery this afternoon and need to get things situated beforehand.HOW am I on hold for now nearly 40 minutes? No one even answered to say "please hold" or "we will be with you shortly after our patients/customers. Goes to show they must be really lazy and not want to answer the phone??SO, the public of Ordinda, before I have surgery this afternoon, does anyone know the policy for having someone (my boyfriend) non related/non marital pick up prescriptions?

WORST PHARMACY EVER! When they don't carry a product that was prescribed, they don't even bother to let your doctor know. Not one person there is caring or has common sense!Take the time to go to Walgreens in Lafayette. You will see a world of difference!

We used to use the small CVS in Moraga, and after switching to this one, the it takes way longer to get prescriptions filled and getting through on the phone takes forever and often results in being hung up on before talking to anyone.

I, too, had no luck reaching the pharmacist by phone after trying for two days -- and therefore couldn't speak to anyone about getting delivery of my drugs that were sitting there.

Every time I go in here, no matter the time of day, I have to wait 10 minutes to check out. They know they can do a better job, but choose not to. 🤷🏼‍♂️😔
