There isn't many places to eat around the area, so this is one of a few places aroundIt was pretty good quality food and portions, just slightly overpriced for what it is, specially for "small town" vibes and serviceThe customer service was great, kind staff.Peeking into the kitchen, could use some.. cleanliness.. but I also eat tacos in TJ, So it isn't a deterrent to me.Food was fresh and hot, would go there again.

A great small burger place on the coast. We stopped in after going to California Native wood (also a great place) and the food was fantastic, as well as the service. We had a great conversation with a local man and a couple that was traveling through the area. I would 100% recommend this place, the food was fantastic. They take card and have quite a few different options! The onion rings were great and the portions were generous. Only thing is parking is a bit limited but that's out of their control! We were in a camper and still managed

A little restaurant serving beef & elk burgers, chicken sandwiches, chilli, fries and other American fast food. Everything is made to order. They claim their burgers are the best in town. It's likely. Their cheese burger was pretty good, fresh, hot, and tasty. Their fries are hot and crispy. Everything reminds me of the best backyard barbeque. There's plenty of patio seating at picnic tables. I'm glad I visited this tiny coastal kitchen.

Having this place in the area is very convenient for a quick lunch. However it was kind of overpriced for a basic burger. Vegetarian patty was flavorful but the chicken was very bland. Anyway the staff was very nice and friendly. There are couple of benches outside to sit.

Small roadside food shack. We ordered a burger with onion rings and a chicken sandwich along with a milkshake. It looked like everything was cooked straight out of a plastic bag. Burger was pretty generic on a generic bun. Chicken sandwich was tough. Milkshake tasted like it was made with a gritty soft serve. Onion rings were the best thing.

I questioned if I went to the same place as the people posting 5 star reviews. Everything was very generic and very bland. This was far from best elk burger I’ve ever had, but probably was the most expensive. The owner wasn’t even trying to be friendly to customers and my friend and I shared a surprised glance when she answered her phone in the rudest manner ever! We felt like we were in the twilight zone. After all these years of passing by I can say I finally tried it and definitely won’t be back.

We stopped by for some lunch. The burgers and fries were good. We also indulged in some ice cream after. It is a little place and they make the food fresh. They were out of a few items. No bathrooms on site, but you can drive to a public restroom a few minutes away.

Cute shack off the highway. Has some outdoor tables. I got the elk plop supreme, fancy for tater tots supreme, and a banana split.Noticed they are short on some ingredients and they tell you that as you order. Had no nacho cheese, onion rings, starberry syrup ect. The shack faces an old run down gas station.Food was warm and good but not like amazing. Your kind of in the middle of nowhere small town so this was good.

Great burgers and smothered tots. Perfect stop for food before or after you visit Lady Bird Johnson Grove in the Redwoods. Not the fastest service though.

Went to have a burger with my wife and we decided we would split a triple burger some fries and a shake. Unfortunately the elk was out for the day, but let me just say that the beef burger was one of the best I have ever had! Talked to the owner, Eadie and she was very sweet and gave me her recommendations on what to get. Will definitely return when I am in the area again!

Love this little shack great food good service and a very friendly dog named honey she is a love and tries very hard to convince you she is starving 🤣🙂❤️😍 but don't let her fool you she is very well taken care of and if you just give her some love that will make her day and probably yours

We just stopped for lunch at EdeBee’s as we travel down the coast and it was amazing! Everything is hot and fresh, exactly what they claim, Made to Order! They even change things with no problem. As a celiac I like my burgers lettuce wrapped, no problem! Are the fries gluten free, they gave me the bag to check for myself!My husband had the Elk burger, he loved it, I had beef. Large patty’s, and pure meat, no fillers. We shared fries which were hot and crisp, perfectly done. We would recommend anyone finishing their walk through Lady Bird Grove stop for a great lunch in this lovely spot beside the 101 in Orick!

Chicken burger was okay.Would suggest if owners can look at people and then hand over the order as our order was taken by someone else and the owner than said that i have given it to you, which was a bummer.People should make sure to wait and grab their order before seating.Vegetarian options: Amazing veggie burger.

Basic, Sysco-quality food that’s the only option for miles. Made-to-order, so food comes out fresh. Place was doing good business on a Friday afternoon.Burger patty was about 1/2 the size of the bun, and onion rings were overdone just to the point of being edible. The strawberry shake hit the spot. We had a serious hunger on us after backpacking.Service was the low point. I guess the cook takes orders, too, and she snapped at us to be faster when placing our order. Pretty much set the tone for the next few interactions with her, as she sent out our shake, then sandwiches, then sides.Lots of locals, a few of which were even friendly, gave the place a nice vibe. I’d come back if it was my only option, which, if you’re in the area, it is.

Great burger, nice and juicy! Onion rings looked and tasted hand made. Will definitely stop by again next time I’m driving through Orick on my way to the Redwoods!

Food was terrible. There was no seating available. I paid 17.50 for a cheese burger , a handful of fries and a Luke warm can of soda. the patty was smaller than a 1 dollar cheeseburger at McDonald’s and had no flavor at all. My husband got elk burger for 28.50 came with 5 onions rings, a vanilla shake same thing very small and had little to no flavor. Don’t waste your money or time at this place. Wait about 45 mins and get food in crescent city or McKinleyville.

Hey man …. I just love milkshakes made the old fashioned way and for me I split a large order of fries with my wife and we both get our own shakes (ebbies might have fresh black berries) so for me fries and a shake fills me up. My grandson tried the “Elk burger” …. Big “K” and I make the pilgrimage at least once a week. It’s just up the road a piece. So I gotta drive by some Redwoods.. jeez

Roadside Grill, It is what it is. I think the owners were a little overwhelmed with how much foot traffic they were getting. It was a beautiful day and many people were out and about. They were running out of food on the menu and it was taking quite a long time to get our food. Overall it was okay. It also was quite their season. Maybe visiting them in the Summer months they may be better prepared.
