I called for looking for some egg laying chicks and was told they had 3 left. I offered to pay over the phone and instead staff took and set aside and waited for me to arrive 20 minutes later. Excellent service and great staff!!! Would definitely come he again and shop for my feed needs. Thanks for such great experience!!

I have been here a few times. It is on greenback across from walmart. There is a horse out in front.The staff seem very knowledgeable and are always ready to help.It is a very nice place. They sell shots for your dogs...chicken coops...and food...hay...dog food...toys...chews...different feed for farm animals.They sell meal worms for chickens. They also sell water bins for animals such as horses and cows...both metal and plastic.The shots are very reasonable...much cheaper than going to a vet...and they give you a shot record to go with it.I was looking at some of the prices today...its a little steep for dog treats....they sell the natural hide treats...bisquits... so many brands of dog food...cold and dry.They sell cat stuff too...

This rating is strictly for their quality of hay. Possibly the worst quality of hay I have ever bought from a feed store. I bought their orchard hay by the flakes for my rabbits and they hated it. Just by looking at it you can tell they are very low quality and looked really dirty/dusty compared to any other feed store I’ve been to. My rabbits refuse to eat it unless it’s the only choice they have. They start causing trouble looking for other sources of food if that’s all I leave for them. Price is okay if you don’t care about low quality hay. I’ve bought from here on two separate occasions out of desperation and both times hay was poor quality. Last time I checked they don’t have flakes of Timothy hay.They’re customer service and store seems great, but definitely don’t buy their own cuts of hay flakes for your pets from my experience. I go the distance to Douglas feed store hay since I have yet to find another feed store with timothy hay of as high quality cuttings as they have for my rabbits (as far as Sacramento County hay goes).

The folks that work there are always helpful and willing to carry your feed to your vehicle if you need them too. They carry the Tuscan Formula dog food brand I have used for my precious dog his whole life. It has been a blessing in keeping his coat shiny and healthy. I also buy our backyard chicken's feed from Western Feed. Great local business!

I love this little pet supply store. The horse dressed in costume in front should be a good perspective of their unique and quirky personality. Great selection of organic chicken feed. They always have shavings and hay when i need it for my chicken coop. Bought some baby chicks here too! They were Golden Sex Links. So far, they have been super healthy and strong babies. Haven't purchased dog food or other pet supplies here so I can't really comment on those products. I mainly use this store for my backyard chickens. Staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. If you want your good ol' neighborhood feed store, shop here. (And then tell me how the dog food quality and prices compare to big name stores like Petco)🤩

My cats love the feather sticks, and cat litter from here. The cat litter is by far the best, and highly recommend it especially for multiple cats. Great staff, and very small store. Its easy to just walk in and get what you need.

They have always been great since I was a kid BUT I am on my 3rd batch of baby chicks and 2 dead from this 3rd batch less than a day after we got them. I have never ever had chicks die like this. I told them that 7 out of 11 died in first 7 hours and they just shrugged and said "yeah that can happen" I'm kicking myself for giving them a third chance since we have lost 2 already. It's not only sad for kids but waste if my time and money when they 6$ a chick it actually adds up when they die .I think they should have offered free chicks to replace the dead 1s but they did not care and that is why they getting this 1star review.

I've been going to this feed store off and on for about 40 years now. I buy my dogs Spectra shots here as they are way cheaper than going to the vet. I wish they hadn't closed the store in Folsom, as it was much closer to me.

Very well stocked with all kinds of pet treats (including CBD for pain relief), stock tanks many excellent pet foods and even dog houses and rabbit hutches. They have too much stuff to list but if it comes to pets of all kinds and horses they probably have it. People in store were very helpful and able to answer all of our questions.

Got there just 15 mins before they closed. They had a water tank 8 ft long I needed. In stock price was good compared to the internet. Helped me load it and even gave me twine to tie it down. Very happy I went there.

The store sign and front of business need a refresh. There is a decent selection of feed and toys, etc. Local business needs more customers! Giant Wal-Mart across the street drowns out the small business owner. I prefer the local business.
