I was at the Orange Cove store trying to purchase about $30.00 worth of items. Tried to pay with a hundred dollar bill and was told they didn't have change for me . I couldn't believe that a store at 4:00PM doesn't have $70.00 to give me back. They were ok for me to just walk out without purchasing my items. The cashier that told me this was Patty. I sure won't be going back in there anymore. Every time I go into this store it is full of charts sitting in the aisles and don't see anyone doing any stocking 👎👎👎👎👎

Family dollar can be considered a Mini Wal-Mart as it has your variety of home items, goods and foods but does not a offer a great selection. For this particular Family Dollar, depending on the time you get there it can be a long line at checkout. They've only had one register running many times that I've been there.

I dread going to this store there's always a big line to check out and the employees seem like their not very happy to be there, plus rude most of the time anyway. This store definitely needs a new set of people to work there.

They are now charging for bags which I understand but they are charging earlier then they said they would and if you have food stamps they will still charge you!
