This place is a pretty decent one-stop shop for most of your camping and outdoors needs. They have a wide variety of equipment, everything ranging from clothing to fishing equipment to groceries and gas. The one thing I’d say against them would be that the customer service needs work. The lady at the counter was kind of rude when I asked her if she had any campground recommendations around the area, “I live in a house”. Ok... so I asked her if she’d literally heard of ANY campgrounds with positive reviews in the area and she had no idea.

Within the area I’d say it has pretty much everything (mind that it’s limited to some items) but fair selection. Plus has diesel gas and pumps open 24 hours.Gas, bathroom, atm, smoothie shake station, drinks, beer, tobacco, snacks, non perishable, perishable, toiletries, gift items, tons of fishing supplies, live crickets and crawlers, frozen food, ice cream, ice and more.Met Rose and she was a sweetheart that runs the shop.

They do have a lot in the store, a lot of stuff for camping, a lot of snacks, a lot of all kinds of things. I did see a pic online of it, that said it was open 24 hours. The sign on the building in the pic, said 24-hour gas. However when I stopped there at 3:00 in the morning, being very low on gas, it was closed and the pumps were off. I barely made it to I-5 to a place where I could get some gas! It was snowing, it was cold, and I was scared to death! Mind you, this was back in the end of December 2016.

This has station has almost anything you could need. Lots of foods/snacks, household items and a large gift shop. Good stop to gear up for camping. They have firewood and ice and more food than just typical gas station food. Large selection of beer. The service is extremely unfriendly and the bathroom smell horrible, but as far as getting typical gas station stuff this is a good stop. they have worms for fishing and an atm. They also have a lot of cookware.

Stopped here to ‘fill up’ and visit the store- we were glad that they had milk here. It has a bit of everything you could need here for hiking, backpacking, and camping.

Neat place. We stopped for a bathroom break and some snacks. I assume the people that we got to chatting with were locals when they told us to camp in the pay campsite. It looked nice but it was kind of expensive. We checked out the area more. Very cool place right outside Lassen.

Considering there isn't much else around, 5 stars for this market that carries just about everything you might need in a pinch. Beer, water, drinks, meat, fishing supplies, baking supplies...It can get busy on the weekends, and expect some weary looking backpackers given the location, but a welcome sight after a couple days of fishing on Hat Creek.

This is just a great little store frequented by cool people and a looked forward to stop when I'm passing through. Just stop here, even if you don't have to. Grab an ice cream. If you can, go in the winter when just the locals are around. Somehow you'll be a better person after visiting. I'm kind of serious. It's a special place with near magical local charm.

Update:..changed to 5 stars...some one from the store reached out to make sure i was right or wrong...either way, this is awesome when some one reaches back out to me and i hope im wrong about them thinking i was stealing...the following is original review: I think they thought i was goin to steal while heating up a couple of burritos for a stranger and his wife that i had bought along with chips sodas and a jug of water for them....they were watching and following me around. I love the area in the mountains!

This is the best little gas station in the High Sierras! They have all the beer ice and sodas plus tons of stuff any fisherman might need or camper may need to replace, Plus this is the place for all the souvenirs you'll need.

Nice little gas station in Lassen National Forest area. There are two bathrooms and they’re kept fairly clean. Plenty of parking. Good food selection.

Great stop I would suggest taking a sixpack to the picnic table behind the store "off the property" if you see any PCT hikers they will greatly appreciate it. Talk to them, get to know them and listen to their stories:)

What an awesome little place here. Owners are friendly and super polite. They have a variety of items from fishing to food to repairing your car. Will keep stopping here.

Clean bathroom, pretty extensive shop and friendly service! Prices for some things are a little more than you would pay in town but it's great in a pinch. Love the cool taxidermy and there's maps and pamphlets for trails and places to see. Some of the permanent signs are a bit outdated but all the relevant trailhead info seems to be fine. This is always a pleasant stop between Redding and Reno

Great folks here that go out of their way for their customers. I am a hiker, and they gave me a ride to Lassen out of the goodness of their heart. They're good people, and they try to stock up their store with whatever you might need. Definitely worth a stop in.

Nice, well stocked store in an out of the way place, run by very nice people. Great place to stop for snacks, Pepsi, F'reals (milk shakes), fishing gear, gloves, and even get a saw to cut down your Christmas tree!!

Stopped in yesterday as we were driving from Las Vegas to Portland. The owner gave us some good driving advice and we bought coffees and food for the road. If you have room in the trunk, buy a chainsaw carving. They are real nice.

Decent storm, could use better customer service. However, it's a great place to stop if you need to use the restroom or get over expensive gas before you head to Redding or susanville

Great little place to do your shopping when you are camping they have a lot of stuff. They're almost like a small gas station camping resort store. It basically started off as a gas station. Like a decent and am pm but with a little bit more stuff.

This place is almost like a landmark spot for locals. Great staff, amazing items to purchase, staff is always helpful with directions etc. They sell fishing licenses here, (which is amazing because you are so close to Burney, Mcarthur, Baum, Clear Lake, etc.. if you haven't checked it out, you should!

Covid-19 disaster area. Unfortunately, the last place a hiker wants to stop. none of the staff or customers are wearing masks. this is sad, because the last time I was here several years ago, it seems like a decent place for PCT hikers. But if you stop here there is a likelihood that you are going to be exposed to covid-19.

Nice stop if you need a break, or if your camping in the area, lots of fishing stuff. In the summer they have BBQ hamburgers etc. Winter they'll make you a pizza.
