Vons bakery is awesome! Enrique made my wife the cutest cake . We get all of our cakes here for our special occasions. Thanks to Enrique for his talented decorating skills . I recommend getting all your cakes here as well.

This Vons Bakery has great cakes and super talent.Give them your ideas and they can help you decide on just the right design on your cake.I believe it was Enrique who made my delightful Dinosaur/Dragon cake. It’s a tossup which it should be called 😆 though It is precious!!Wonderful Luci took my order and all was super!!!

I want to say Thank you to Vons Bakery especially THANK YOU to Enrique who made 2 cakes for my birthday and they were amazing and beautifully decorated. He was so nice and polite when taking my order and was very helpful. I was just in awe for these cakes. I definitely recommend getting your cake for any occasion at this location.

I have shopped in this Vons Grocery Store twice and I learned a lot of grocery items in their store are (over priced). I was looking for a loaf of Thomas Swirl Cinnamon Raisin Bread so I went tothis Vons location since it’s close by my home.I asked this Vons employee does she have thisThomas Swirl Cinnamon Raisin Bread in stock?She said yes we do and she escorted me over to the Bread Department, this older woman employee was very helpful and had a pleasant personality tome the customer.I looked at the different brands of cinnamon raisin bread. Vons had Sun Maid, Pepperidge Farm, andThomas Swirl Raisin Bread. All of these Raisin Bread Brands we’re almost $5.00 for just (one loaf of Raisin Bread).When I compared these prices to my local WalmartSupercenter Store the same brand of Thomas Swirl Cinnamon Raisin Bread is the regular price for only $2.87. If Vons this grocery Store lowers their food prices I would consider doing my grocery shoppingthere sometimes. I gave Vons a 3 star review because that woman employee was very helpful and friendly to me. I do like the way this Vons Store is organized and this store is very clean. The cashiers are really nice also.

I had recently ordered a cake for my daughters birthday with high hopes after seeing the cakes pre made daily in the bakery case. After consulting with a baker and making an order for a cake 6wks in advance I was told they could make the cake I was wanting no problem! I mentioned it was toy story theme and not to worry about cake figurines because I would buy them myself. Only leaving the colorful blank slate of a cake open to them based upon a photo I presented(attached) and even emailed to them directly…. However I come to find out the day before my daughters birthday that the cake I ordered was not only themed to my little pony but had also basically collapsed on itself by the time I got home. Keep in mind that I only live 10 minutes away and yes the cake was placed on a flat surface in the car. Nothing I had mentioned on my picture presented was attempted or referred too on the cake and now it looks like I’ll be reconstructing the cake the night before as well. As far as I’m concerned this cake better be the best cake I’ve ever tasted because it looks like trash. I’m so let down by what was so confidently told to me just to find out what I wanted was completely disregarded. I even was specifically told the green dripping of icing would be done on the top layer, again nothing was followed from the picture I asked. If you want any custom cakes done you might as well ONLY pick something from their pre made book. Again such a disappointment and absolutely ridiculous…Update: I also later realized that the marble cake I ordered was in fact white cake only and the bottom cake had no filling, only straight strawberries on dry cake…..I’m sorry but the order slip wasn’t read at all.

This Vons in particular always has the most friendly staff members who see to making my shopping experience wonderful. Always willing to help lend a hand. The facility itself is always kept clean, updated and user friendly. They have better quality food (fresh), and better choices than competitors.

The employees made my experience comfortable especially while checking out, the lady commented on what I bought in way that was interesting and struck up conversation with otherwise reserved lady who was bagging stuff . The cashier made the area a positive environment

I came to Von’s on 2/14/23 around 4-5pm. I don’t usually shop here but I had a very pleasant experience. Aaron made my day. He was so welcoming and sweet and made me laugh and smile. I am going to shop here more often because of staff like Aaron. I hope Aaron had an amazing Valentine’s day and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Will be back very soon.

Has most of what we need as a household with special dietary needs at better prices than the "health food" stores. If they had just a few more things I wouldn't bother with the "health food, while paycheck" places at all.

Pretty rude and smug employee by the name of Jackie m who happens to be a supervisor. I work in retail so I'm always friendly towards fellow retail workers so I was taken back by the response for a simple request that didn't require anything from her. All I asked was for all of my groceries to be bagged and made a face and snide comment about bagging a 6pack Ramen box. I told her they fit because once upon a time I was a bagger and she gave me a long drawn out ooookayyyy. So I asked her if she was okay because she was being rude to which she replies "I'm sorry you feel that way". No thank you after paying Vons' premium prices for their un-premium customer service. But it's okay I still said your welcome and thanked the bagger. This type of attitude wouldn't be tolerated at my my place of work nor would I would allow my front end to be in such dismay.

This is the cleanest store in the area. It is nice and neatly laid out. For example, when walking into the produce department it is quite visually clear where everything is located. They always have sanitizer wipes for your cart/hands, even when everyone else was out. So..this rating is four stars because approximately 50% of the time I buy their Ice Cream it has been melted and refrozen. When you open the container it is smooth/flat and down 1/4 of container and not so churned anymore. I keep trying to find a good carton because Signature Select Mint Moose Track is the best (when you find some that has been kept frozen).

Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I just don't like coming there because of the crowd. One guy with a bowl haircut who had newspaper all over the floor and didn't bother to pick them them tried to accuse me of stealing while I was still shopping!!! Then a mentally ill man came in the store screaming at everyone. It is by no way Vons' fault. Just be prepared to deal with crazies when shopping here

Stopped by to buy flowers for one of my admire male friend . And the flowers were gorgeous three weeks later. Checked out by the flowers as the woman was talking about their week . The register lady was very nice and polite. 💜💜💜Their fresh flowers!

Our neighborhood Vons is clean and usually well stocked. Everyone I’ve talk to has been nice. Could find my raw tortillas today snd no one new where they moved them too. Otherwise, good selections of everything else. They sell Dots pretzels now…yummy stuff when you can find them. We enjoy the original.

The worse customer service, was at 7 pm they don't have anyone to hand you a cake and THE SUPERVISOR stated she doesn't have anyone who has a food handling license in the store. And she didn't want to help either.If that's true someone needs to take a look at the deli department to see if they have the required license.Because 2 employees were standing there and they didn't want to help.(I DON'T THINK SHE IS A SUPERVISOR OR THE DEFINITION OF SUPERVISOR CHANGE). Her name is katline or something like that.This will be my last time stepping into this location.That's how you lose customers.

If I could give less I would. My mother ordered a sandwich at the deli counter. The woman who made it was rude and had poor communication. My mom asked for extra meat, tomatoes, and peppers. The total was $16.99. When my mom said that the up-charges were much higher than expected, and the woman hadn’t communicated that there would be this much additional charges, she got her manager. The woman told her manager that she had communicated the price. The deli manager took her word for it and became very confrontational. My mom took the sandwich and said she’d pay for it but was very disappointed in how the situation was handled. As i was walking toward the checkout line, I encountered the deli manager telling another manager what happened in a very upset tone, saying she was “just letting him know…” To me, it was very unprofessional she was doing this publicly in the middle of the store. I am not a person that writes reviews often or is confrontational, but the way that my mother was treated was so upsetting to me that i needed to share.

Everything was going good. Got great deals. It was a little more than a half hour from closing. No one was really in the store. Absolutely nobody by the butcher, who is putting things away. I asked if I could get some ahi tuna. He said he put it away already. Made no attempt to just run back there and get me a couple of pounds. And told me to come back tomorrow. {Almost 25 miles round trip).He did have plenty of time to stop and do nothing and talk to a girl while I shopped for my other stuff around there. It rubbed me the wrong way.
