Took us in on short notice… great and fast communication… Price was amazing… excellent service…Over the last 4 years of taking my dogs to other groomer, they have never smelled and looked better. I’m not from this area and now I’m considering traveling an hour to get my dogs groomed! Thank you for amazing service.

Warning do not go here. Your dog deserves better. This is a late review from 7 months ago, I didnt realize it didnt post. Very unprofessional. I brought my dog in for a bath and cut. When I picked him up he was very uneven and had tiny little bugs running around his neck. Arent we supposed to bring our dogs in to get rid of bugs not to acquire them. He had a feather tied in his hair with a rubber band. Yep it was impossible to get out. I had to cut it out. I noticed also that my dog seemed very lethargic and depressed. Go by your gut feelings. He was not a happyCamper. I was on time to pick her up but she was not ready. I waited in my car for 40 minutes. I called the owner a couple days after and she didnt admit to any of it nor refund my money. Do your dog a big favor and never bring them to a touch of gold. Warning

We have an 80 lbs husky who can be very difficult and she handled him great! She was able to do everything to make our dog look and smell amazing. Highly Recommend.

After searching for weeks, I looked into A Touch of Gold Grooming, and I couldn't be happier! I have two larger lab mixes, one long hair and one short hair. My short haired one got a bath and is so soft! My long haired one got a bath and hair cut. Both of their ears are the cleanest ever! And they both smell amazing! They got me in the SAME day! (which is a huge plus for me!) Their prices are VERY reasonable! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you guys, I will definitely come to you next time we need services!

Excellent grooming! We used to get our dog groomed at Petsmart and they were so hit or miss in terms of how close the cut would be to what we asked for. At a Touch of Gold we never have to worry as the woman who runs this shop always does an excellent job and gives extra care and attention to make sure our dog leaves with a beautiful blow out and no mats. I first started coming here because Petsmart canceled my scheduled grooming appointment at the last minute and a Touch of Gold was able to squeeze us in for the weekend with only a few days notice. Also prices are better than Petsmart. Highly recommend.

This place gave my dog the best haircut and her face smelled sooo good!! Their pricing is incredible by the way, I can't believe I forgot to mention that as I was looking back at my reviews down the years. Compared to some places they have your dog longer than others but not by much. I stopped going there because I fell in love with another grooming shop that I had a Groupon for. But this place is amazing and staff are so helpful, communicative and kind. ♡

First groomer we found that makes my dog’s tail look cute. As a rescue my dog usually freaks out over everything but she is very calm for her going there.Update: Still the only place my dog goes to without freaking out. My boyfriend moved in with his dog who sheds a lot. We brought him in for a wash since he always sees my dog Bella go. Not only did Tanisha do an amazing job with her deshedding service but she gave us tips for manage the shedding.

I was really worried about how things were going to turn out because she couldn’t remember me or what kind of dog I had, she couldn’t remember what our plans were and changed them on me last minute but I was willing to work things with her because she was willing to put me on her schedule. ANYWAYS, she did an AMAZING job with my husky, coat was really soft and clean, her paws were beautiful, I was so happy with my service, well worth the trouble, she even put a bow on my dog which I thought was absolutely adorable. We have a very energetic 15 month old Golden Retriever. The staff at Touch of Gold is ALWAYS so amazing with him. They're so caring and awesome. My doggo always looks and smells great when I pick him up. I highly recommend this location. 🐕🐾

I am so pleased to have found this groomer!! My dog is comfortable going to see her and is happy when I pick her up and smells amazing! I also have boarded Savi with the owner and my anxiety about leaving her was helped so much knowing she was in great hands!!! I highly recommend Touch of Gold!!

The "Owner" of this place groomed my lil 7 lb. Maltipoo and she "cut" the tip of his peepee!! So she put some powder on it to stop the bleeding and she also cut him in 2 other spots!! And if that wasn't enough she used the high power blower to dry him even after telling me that some lil dogs freak out with that dryer so she will try to use the slow dryer. When I picked him up he was traumatized so badly that he was shaking for 3 weeks!! 2 weeks non-stop and the 3rd week on and off but always when I had to pick him up. After 3 weeks he was finally (somewhat) back to normal. And now when he hears the sound of clippers he freaks out. This grooming experience has permanently changed him. He is just not the same anymore and this is 4 years later that I wright this review. So if you have a lil dog then you should go somewhere else or he might not ever be the same.

I highly recommend A Touch of Gold Pet Grooming! I got an appointment the same day that I called. They're so kind, & detail oriented. My German Shepherd got a de-shed, & didn't have one loose hair after which is very impressive!! She left shiny, fluffy, & fresh! I'm very pleased with the work. I'll be recommending A Touch of Gold Pet Grooming to my friends, & anyone looking for a new groomer.🐾❤️🐶🐕🐕‍ ❤️🐾

Do not go here they are the worst groomers and charge for every little thing. My dog also gets injuries after going here she’s not gentle and hurts their skin. She charged me for my dog peeing she also charged muzzle fee and random other stuff it was ridiculous. I took my dogs to another groomer and they did a wonderful job and smelled so good but when I bring them here it’s always a terrible experience. I wish I could rate this place a negative star.

This is the only groomer who successfully completed an entire grooming session on my two, 7-month-old puppies. They even went above and beyond and threw in complimentary bleaching shampoo for my white Husky. They were very responsive and did all this for us at a very last-minute, same day appointment. I'm so grateful for these ladies!

This place is very professional. After taking my dogs to other places, I finally found the best one! A Touch Of Gold. It is obvious for me, after my dogs were groomed there. They smelled great. They are always excited to get in, when we get there. It's the only place I will take my precious Boston Terrier, Dug E. (we took our 1st dog Rookie Martin, there too, who recently passed away-A Touch Of Gold, was so caring, and compassionate, and shared our pain-Very personable! We appreciated the flowers, Tanisha)I recommended this place to my niece who also has a dog, Tank. They loved it, as well.

I was in the hospital and I was told Tony my dog had fleas. I called touch of gold and they were able to schedule an appointment for him. My friend took Tony to the groomers and he got a flea shampoo and a blueberry facial. From what I was told he looked great and smelled better. This is our third visit for our dog Ghost. Each time they have done an amazing job. They even called us last time to double check before doing something (we asked for a schnauzer cut but wanted her tail left fluffy) I was impressed they called to clarify. They make her look and smell amazing. Definitely recommend them!

I had gone to Classy K-9 Clips for 10 years, but once she sold it to another owner, I thought I would try a new groomer. What a mistake! I have a long hair Chihuahua which my husband explained to the guy at the counter how we like the grooming to be done since it was his first visit. When he picked him up he had shaved most of his coat to about 1/4 inch. That has only happened once by mistake in the 13 years we have had him. He looked like a cross between a poodle cut and a lion with a long mane. They had shaved his pants off, but left puffs of hair on his legs. We were not happy at all, but considering his age, we didn't think it would matter as much. We are on bonus time with his heart/kidney diseases. After getting him home, we noticed they hadn't even cleaned his ears. I don't know if it was an "off" day with the two guys working there, but we are never going again!

I am so THANKFUL for Tanisha and her exceptional grooming to animals! Today was my first visit and she was so helpful working with my time frame and taking care of my White Jindo Dog, Evie. I was astonished to see how beautiful, groomed, nails clipped, ears cleaned, etc and how happy our little girl was after a wonderful bath. Highly recommend and will be a customer forever!!!!

My Pomeranian had some knots and matting, BUT it looked horrible when I picked him up, he had shaved patches around the neck. And they could not even do a cats paw on his feet that’s how I observed aside from the matting, they do not do a profesional job! Another client could not believe what they did to her Shitzu, we both stepped outside and were grieving how they left our dogs, $50.00 for this. Never Again, I should of received a phone call before them shaving blotches of furr of the coat, or this should of been advice prior to agreeing to accept and leave the dog here!

My yellow lab Daisy had been to A Touch of Gold Pet Grooming a handful of times for a bath, nail clipping and brush. They've always done wonderful and Daisy always comes out eager to leave but happy. Today was the first time trying the teeth cleaning. Oh my gosh I was amazed. Daisy back teeth were horrible and the vet would charge me over $800 to put her out and work on her. Tanisha did this for $100 and they are white as can be and Daisy didn't have to be put under anesthesia. Would so recommend this place.

We travel to Oceanside often to visit our daughter and needed to get our baby Shih Tzu groomed. they accommodated our busy schedule and got us in same day we called with no appointment!! We could not be more pleased with the customer service and quality of work!! I love A Touch of Gold Pet Groomer! Always able to squeeze my furbabies in! And they really listen when you ask them to cut a certain style! I went through a handful of groomers that would butcher my babies hair so bad 👎 so glad to finally get the recommendation for this place! They always have my furbabies looking and smelling fresh!

Terrible experience! Brought my dog in for a grooming with pictures of how I'd like her cut. Spoke to the owner,Tanisha Banks, she said her daughter would do the cut. When I picked up my dog her cut was nothing like the picture. She claimed she thought the pictures were for another dog. Although my card specifically asked for the Teddy Bear cut. She said she would give me a discount on the next cut which her mother would do. I showed up for my 10:30 appointment and Tanisha hadn't made it in. I left at 11:00 and she still wasn't there and I never received the courtesy of a call. If you care about your dog this isn't the place to go!

My dog suffered hemorrhages in both of his eyes after being groomed here. When I questioned the employee about it, he stated that his eyes were already “like that” when I dropped him off. I THINK I WOULD'VE NOTICED IF MY DOG HAD HEMORRHAGES IN BOTH OF HIS EYES before we left the house. Not to mention, he still hasn’t stopped shaking and was scared to move when I picked him up. These are all red flags. Please do yourself and your pup a favor and go somewhere else. Yes they’re affordable, but not at the expense of your fur baby.

I could not be more happy and pleased with my experience and how my dogs grooming turned out. I have gone to 4 other groomers in the past year. I have now found my groomer. No other groomers will do. Thank you very much. In all aspects of our experience.
