A Mexican style grocery store, but a bit on the pricy side. Besides the prices, the items are really good. The deli has the best fajita-style chicken breast. The deli also has: buy 3 lbs. and get the 4th lb. Free of ground beef!!!!

This is one of the best stores around. It's like shopping around the world. The fresh meat market is the greatest too. Its unbelievable how they can get worldly stock in such a small place. I'll go in to just get a few veggies and come out with two weeks groceries. Their prices beat the hell out of California Fresh. And comparable to Food for less and Smart and Final.

Good market. Has snack bar with good Mexican food. Don't try the menudo ... Meat to big and very thin soup. All meats cut by persons there and wrapped by the counter. There is a special buy 3 lbs of hamburger and get one lb free. Go there you will be happy with the meat dept. : - )

This is a clean store with decent prices! They sell rice, beans and a variety of delicious Mexican food to eat there or take home as well. I find the people who work there pleasant The fact that it's a moderate sized store and I found everything I wanted without having to walk for seemingly miles is a great bonus. Thanks

Central Market is a great store. Its clean and offers all the basics. They have good food and the service is pretty good. Except the jewelry counter. My sister wanted to buy a necklace and 3 different times the lady working the jewelry counter walked away as soon as she walked up.

Lots of go0dies there. The meat Dept has to be the best. Fresh. The deli maker knows how to cook. Except the enchalada ! A flat tortia with thin out sauce. And flat. Not rolled up. If it was done in Mexico they push her to Canada ! Avocados are Hass and very reasonable priced. I like the checkers. Very good with customers.

Plenty of ingredients if you enjoy from scratch cooking, mostly for Mexican related dish though there selection expands to other cusine. Butcher knows what he is doing and if you have an eye for it you can find some very good cuts of meat for a reasonable price. Be careful outside this place though it is known to attract a shifty crowd.

This local owned market is a nice piece of hometown for the locals. Very nice staff, a deli with all cuts of meats and a staff that makes the place shine. This place has it all with electronics, jewelry, fresh local produce, and they make the best tostadas anywhere in slo county! It looks small but it more then makes up for its size with what's inside.

It use to be a friendly place , the owners are very rude especially the son . He is very rude about who parks there watches as if your gonna steal ,very uncomfortable . Tony was very friendly high spirited and family orientated. Never forgot we are human .

Sunday, May 16Well I was there at 20 till seven you say you stay open till seven and as I was stepping out of my car you guys were shutting the gates and it was well before seven. So if you're gonna close your store before the time did you say you might say 630 next time for Sundays. I tried to call Again well before seven and nobody even answer the phone . May go ahead and go up to JJs for now on .

They don't have much of a selection here, and their items are extremely overpriced for what they are, not to mention the employees were VERY RUDE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS!! Their hot food deli does make some awesome Asada Tacos and Borritos though!!

As a kid I would love riding my bike here to get fun Mexican candies and look at the exotic cuts of meat (namely cow tongue) in the butcher display case.
