I'm a little in love with this part of the world. Occidental sits between Sebastopol and guerneville on a raised plane. Close to some old redwoods, and the wind and weather up here are always exquisite to me. Stopping in the Bohemian market, where I did not know there was a deli, I took a chance and ordered their classic, and it was well, a classic. Turkey, shredded lettuce, mayo, mustard, tomatoes, and rye bread all put together perfectly, a real All-American delicious sandwich. Sandwich. I recommend the area for anyone who wants to get some nice weather, and one of the sandwiches that's Bohemian market for anyone who wants to get some nice sandwich. Staff was super friendly. I recommend.

Cute little market in Occidental. Nice to grab random items on the way to the ocean, or if you live locally or if you are visiting. The employees are super nice. It's very expensive. I bought a whole organic chicken and when I got to the cash register it was $18! I guess there's not a lot of options out here in the bohemian woods :) so they need to charge more. Convenient if you do need any last minute things and can't find other options. Also, love the beautiful signage out front!

Cool little neighborhood grocery store for staples and snacks. The deli counter is what brought me in after a few hours on the motorcycle. Was looking for a quick but flavorful bite to eat and the beef stew more than delivered! Be sure not to miss the mural on the north side of the building! First time I visited I completely missed it. There was no line out the door, masks were worn by all, and we were all allowed to browse/shop without feeling rushed. I.ll definitely be back again next time I'm in the area!

Stopped here for sandwich after a hike, and it was awesome. An incredible sandwich loaded with meat and toppings. My wife and I split a 6 inch sub and it filled is both. Would highly recommend!

The most unfriendly workers at front of store. Curly haired blonde at register never a hello or thank you, never a word. Meat counter great and friendly. Rose is wonderful.This is the attitude for most locals.

This Farmers Market is absolutely amazing is wonderful gardeners and Farmers from the area bring there Garden down for sale at very reasonable prices very friendly

Let me start by saying; I don’t write reviews so this must have been something special. I moved from Jersey to California when I was a kid so from an early age I new what a good sandwich and a good slice of pizza was. At 44 I was convinced the west coast did not know how to make a sandwich let alone a hoagie, don’t even get me started on pizza. The Italian Hoagie at the Bohemian market proved me wrong and deserves to be called a Hoagie. Thank you, that was delicious.

This is an awesome market with all organic produce and a large selection of of vegan and gluten free options. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful in a great work environment. The owner has done a great job providing Occidental with a market that has a large selection of health foods, deli options and amazing sandwiches and employees who rock! 100% love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

I go there a lot to get special sandwiches made. There’s a lot to choose from so be careful when you order… They have like 5 to 7 types of bread they have different kinds of condiments and will do just about anything on your sandwich that you request.....And I love their German potato salad… It’s a small store but it does have a lot of unique things and some really nice wine selections... and I’ve lived here for over 20 years And I must say I’ve never been disappointed…The hot pastrami sandwich is excellent!!

I love the Bohemian Market! The store has a fabulous deli with amazing sandwiches, as well as, fresh fish and meat selections. The assortment of garden-fresh fruits and vegetables are always plentiful. Not to mention the sensational wine selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Bohemian Market also has a wonderful connection to the community. If you are passing through Occidental, don't forget to stop by this incredible market.

3/5/17 I ordered a turkey sandwich without mustard. I reminder her twice and asked if they have those order your sandwich papers. She said NO my memory works fine. Well we went on hike and found the sandwich had tons of spicy mustard on it, our dogs wouldn't touch it. The meat was 2 thin slices. Duncan Mills Deli store has real food. Never going here again.

A really fun Farmers market runs here from May to October 4-7pm every Friday. Huge variety of farmers and craft vendors. Lots of organic vegetables, meats, artisan cheeses, breads, etc. Live bands and solo performers too make it a lively experience not to be missed. Take a jacket because it can be chilly.

Awesome selection of organic and local food. Pretty amazing considering it's in the boonies. Super tasty sandwiches but they can take a while. Worth the wait. Perfect spot on the way to the beach.

Formerly - the Occidental Market - (look over the front door as you come in) , now called the Bohemian Market is a real healthy looking place with a very active coffee bar, good looking vegetables, a very nice meat counter and lots of choices for fresh bread. The baguette that I had was fresh and wonderful. I couldn't wait and started munching on it in my car. It was top flight. I can hardly wait to come back for a sandwich at lunch some time.This is looking good real good and I will be back. Thank You.

Employees are great. The owner Courtney is a rude (very obvious) coke head who underpays and mistreats her employees.I’ve seen her come in coked up, yelling at her employees for no reason; all while filling up two grocery carts full of food then just walks out without apologizing to her employees for cussing and yelling at them.All she cares about is following the Grateful Dead around, getting free groceries and doing coke benders

Very small compared to other farmers markets in Sonoma County but there's great food, all organic and local vegetables, music, and other handmade items for sale. Great place to bring your kids for a little fun and pick up some yummy fruits and veggies

This is a great health food store, lots of organic produce and products that you would expect to find in an authentic health food store. The deli sandwich we got was not particularly great, unfortunately, but they have an awesome chocolate selection.

I really would advise against shopping there. It's a pretty dirty environment for a grocery store. I also wouldn't want to support the owner. She treats her employee's terribly. I'm not the only one who thinks so either. Super high turnover rate, mainly to do with the owners behavior.

This place makes the best subs in the entire area, I drive all the way to Occidental just to get the sandwiches there!! Dont know why they dont do breakfast sandwiches, wish they did!!
