This grocery store is known as the oldest grocery store in California!I stopped by this spot and bought some crackers, truffle cheese, and prosciutto to bring to a wine tasting. If you come here, you have to get the Cremeux des Citeaux truffle cheese! This truffle cheese was by far my favorite truffle cheese I've ever tried! The texture is like Brie’s cheese. Cracker, truffle cheese, and prosciutto was such a perfect combo. I definitely have to come back here to buy that same cheese! The prosciutto was also very fresh. The grocery has a meat section where you can tell the worker how much prosciutto, salami, etc., that you want and they will cut it and pack it up for you. They also sell freshly made sandwiches to go here and have a lot of wine selections to choose from. I will definitely be back, especially for that truffle cheese!

A must stop. Smart deli offering sandwiches, salads, deviled eggs, charcuterie fixings, pizza wine and drinks. Extensive product selection. Nice outdoor seating. Small parking lot.

I ordered the margherita pizza and it was so good! They somehow missed my order number so I ended up waiting way longer for my order than I should have, but the weather was so nice that I didn’t mind sitting outside drinking my beverage enjoying the views. To make up for me waiting for my pizza they gave me a gift card to their store without me even asking for anything so it’s still 5 stars!

Picked up lunch on our way to the wineries and it was absolutely perfect. Had the smoked salmon chèvre sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. First was filled with delicious smoked salmon and fresh arugula. Latter was crispy, moist, and peppery. Both were on an artisan bread which was crunchy and soft. Highly recommend!

Attended your Easter Egg Hunt Extavaganza today! What a lovely day for it, and the event was so thoughtfully organized for both children and their parents! Fun and magical! Face painting, coloring contest, egg toss, cookie decorating, hot chocolate bar! Generous and classy way to give back to the wine country community! Thank you!!And aside from this event, Oakville Grocery is a very favorite place for a consistently yummy outdoor lunch with friends!

I've never been to a winery that let's you pick a "taste"(1oz.), "half" (2oz.)or "Full" (4.5oz.) glasses of a ton of gorgeous wines!Wide selection is reds and whites and everything in between.Beautiful spots to sit at and enjoy food and wine.Totally worth a visit!

It's a so so deli in great location. They bend you over because of it. Pizza is good tho. Meemo is the man!!! Who ever slices the deli meat has never done it before. They should try to treat their employees better so that they can retain them long enough to train them on how to work at a delicatessen. Other than that. If you are cool with spending $40 dollars for a sandwich, potato salad and a soda, this is the place for you.

We went to oakville 3x we loved it so much. We went to wine merchant that is located next door where you can taste half and full glasses of all kinds of wines across the region. We got salad and sandwiches to go for a picnic at a winery one day. And we stopped by for pastries and souvenirs! Highly recommend.

The is a place to go it you want to try Local wines without making appointments or pressures! Very relaxed environment, where you could pay by glass of tastings for 65 different selected local wines, grouped by regions and grab some foods to nibble at the grocery stores and sit in the garden. Totally no pressure!

A Napa staple and great spot for lunch!Food: the sandwiches and salads were great. We had the Oakville signature salad and hot chicken sandwich and would recommend both. They make all their food to order behind the deli counter. It's also reasonably priced, but they get you with some of the other items throughout the store.Ambiance: there's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to help keep it cool.They are keeping things safe with COVID and limiting the number of guests inside at the same time. They also require masks to go indoors.

While touring the Napa Valley If your looking to stay away from the busy restaurants and don't mind a picnic style outdoor setting. This is a good option for a sandwich, pizza or even a burger.

Unexpectedly great little spot that was recommended to us by our driver when we had some down time between wine tastings. We stopped at Oakville Grocery and immediately went to their wine tasting room. We had never seen a spot like this where they had wine set up like a self service soda fountain! You swipe your credit card at the desk and they give you a wine glass and a card and that you use in their wine dispensing machines. It was so convenient and fun. We got to try many different wines and felt the price was fair. The room itself is beautifully decorated with nods to Napa's history. They seem to be super busy over on the food side and the parking lot was packed, but our driver did stop in for a sandwich and said that it was delicious. If you have some spare time during your adventures you should definitely try stopping into Oakville for a bite and a glass of wine.

Great selection of cheese and wines. The barista at the cafe was really rude, though. We got there about 30 minutes before closing on a Wedenesday. I was looking forward to seeing what they had and just being at a historic location. The interaction with the barista just left me feeling unwelcome. Not sure if he was annoyed that I was ordering a mocha so close to their closing time and he just wanted to leave or if he thought us asian tourists shouldn't be there. He made me repeat myself even when I clearly spoke in English. Super rude tone and he really just sounded like he was done. We live in San Francisco and are planning to visit and drive to Napa more often to check out more wineries in the future, but will most likely not come back to this place. I know we're not a huge loss and they'll keep getting more tourists as guests, but know that I'll always remember that one negative interaction and will always associate it with this place.

This is not your ordinary grocery store. It has a deli, cafe, wine, jam, produce, and specialty foods. Lots of outdoor seating. Don’t forget to check out the museum out in the back and wine tasting too.I got a jar of jam. $9 for the smallest size which was 8 ounce and I had to check in my luggage for $35. Couldn’t find any travel size or 3 ounce or smaller jams.

That is the best discovery on The Valley. The store has local products and all the staff are very helpful and super friendly. Try the egg salad and the chicken pesto sandwich. It’s really a unique discovery so plan some time to visit. Cheers!

Popular store that is pretty old etc. They have pretty unique collection of items in the store. They have cafe and sell sandwiches, pizza and boxed lunches. A bit expensive but food was delicious!Conveniently located on Hwy29. So if you are in town for wine tasting or other tourist stuff-you want to check this place out!

Adorable country style atmosphere. Tons of unique Napa offerings for yourself or for gift giving. They offer several taste samples of local items. Be prepared to buy everything you try. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a cool glass covered hole in the ground that will make you look twice before walking across. My girls loved it

Not complaining about the prices. This is Napa, so prices are expected to be on the high side and I think it's worth it most of the time.But $18 for "prosciutto and brie" sandwich with a single slice of prosciutto... well that's just not good at all. The glass of Cabernet Sauvignon was $20 and it was great!
