We had a wonderful tasting experience at Napa Cellars. My husband and I learned a lot from our fantastic hostess, Darlene. She was very knowledgeable and the property was beautiful and welcoming. We brought a little picnic to eat before starting our tasting too!

Visiting Napa Cellars was the best wine tasting experience we ever had! The wine was AMAZING and it tasted 100 times better with the fresh charcuterie box! Our server was Lance and there is no doubt that he LOVES wines 🍷Lance was so passionate about wines, the wine making process, the way to open a bottle of wine and how to test if a wine has gone bad that we were completely immersed in the experience. It felt like a cozy and warm conversation with Lance and we enjoyed every bit of it! Napa cellars is very dog friendly. Our dog Simba got pets from everyone and he also got free treats and a free bandana ❤️ We will definitely visit this place again!

This place is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond to make us and our dog feel at home, with nearly everyone coming over to greet and pet her. I highly recommend this for their warmth and hospitality.

We recently visited Napa Cellars and had an incredible experience. Not only were we greeted with complimentary glasses of wine, but Mr. Lancer went above and beyond in explaining all the wines in detail. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making our tasting that much more enjoyable. The winery itself is beautiful and has a great outdoor seating area. We brought our own picnic basket and it was nice to taste good wine together with the food we brought. It's important to note that tastings here do come at a cost of around $30-$50, but it's absolutely worth it for the quality of wine and service. I highly recommend stopping by Napa Cellars on your next trip to Napa Valley.

We did our tasting with Lance and wow, he was amazing. He guided us step by step on how to enjoy wines and shared so much fun facts that every second was enjoyable. We did the reserve tasting and all the wines were great. We would definitely come back for another tasting.

Pretty good stuff. The most affordable wines we had on our trolley tour today. A lovely setting, with excellent tasting service and very good wine for the price.

We had an excellent tasting experience! We had the Winemaker Series, every wine in the series was excellent but we especially liked the Petit Verdot. The charcuterie box was loaded with cheese, nut, olives, cranberries & crackers. They are very dog friendly! Our Tuggie was served water from a wine bottle and given treats. They also gave him the cutest bandana. We had the best tasting experience of the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed each wine we were served. This will definitely be a regular stop when we’re in Napa.

Wow!! What an incredible experience and gracious service. The tasting experience could not have been better. (We got the winemaker and reserve tastings) The staff was so accommodating the whole time even though we showed up a little late for our reservation. They treated our dog like royalty even bring him a personal fan, bowl, and bandana. I would return here for wine again and again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Great for wine and picnic! We didn’t have reservations for tasting but Russ helped us out and gave us a table in their beautiful garden. We had wine by the glass and he was kind enough to gift us with a starter and a dessert wine + chocolate. If you want great service, great wine and cozy atmosphere, this is your spot.

We did the wine trolly enjoyed visiting and had some nice wine but I did feel others in the area give better service due to this place being more of a corporation than personal experience with the customers! Still enjoyed it but felt they wasn’t ready and the seating area they sat us wasn’t great the benches with the views is better not seats up against a wall for such a large group! Again still enjoyed it

A Memorable 30th Birthday Celebration at Napa Cellars! My family and I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Napa Cellars, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped into the winery, the atmosphere was warm and inviting.A significant part of what made our visit exceptional was the incredible service we received from Russ, one of the employees at Napa Cellars. Russ went above and beyond to ensure that our celebration was nothing short of perfect. His knowledge about the wines was impressive, and he took the time to share insightful information about each selection we considered. His recommendations were spot-on, reflecting a true passion for the craft. What truly set Russ apart was his genuine enthusiasm and willingness to make my birthday celebration extra special. Not only did he provide top-notch service in guiding us through the wine tasting, but he also surprised us with additional services to commemorate the occasion. It's this attention to detail and personalized touch that left a lasting impression on us.The ambiance of Napa Cellars is delightful, the wines are exceptional, and the level of customer service we experienced, particularly thanks to Russ, elevated our celebration to new heights. I can wholeheartedly recommend Napa Cellars to anyone looking for a memorable winery experience, whether it's for a special occasion or just a delightful day in Napa Valley. Five stars all the way!

Spent a wonderful afternoon wine tasting at Napa Cellars. Darlene spent so much time with us, teaching us about wines and the history of the region! She has so many interesting stories to share. The winery is located right outside of downtown Napa and the views are incredible. Loved how we could bring our own picnic basket!

I think Napa Cellars has the best wines around here!!! Since menage a trois is not part of it, it just became better!!! The events they have are so lovely!! Jerry is the coolest guy in the building!! Both Kevins are so nice and so helpful!!! Thank you so much guysDarlene on the other side is not worth it, pretending doesn't know us, even though we bought many bottles with her, and served us few times.. Very disappointing Darlene!!!! Shame on you...

We had a great wine tasting! We got a mixture of the Winemaker and Reserve tastings with 4 people, so we could taste a lot of different wines together. There’s a mixture of lighter and heavier wines, and it’s also not very pricy for Napa standards.Darlene was a wonderful host, who knew a lot about the wines and made it a fun and energetic experience altogether. Would recommend it!

My fiancé and I LOVED Napa Cellars Winery! We’ve enjoyed some of their wines back home, but the tasting room offered access to wines we would have never otherwise been able to experience. Lance was our host, and he made the tasting SO fun, and educational!, but also very accessible. He really made the tasting feel personalized and special. We have been long time Napa Cabernet lovers, but we were blown away by the Meritage blend here, and also loved their local Pinot! We are now very happy members of the Napa Cellars Wine Club, and can’t wait to enjoy the wines we tasted yesterday— and all the others we couldn’t— back home!!

My friends and I were visiting from Australia. We were made to feel so welcomed at the winery. Special shoutout to Russ who was so informative and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend you doing a tasting and reserving a picnic area.

There is so much talk about large wineries and.how it may not be worth it to come in. It is all wrong. The people inside, if you engage them, is so knowledgeable you will like the experience as much as in a small winery. The difficulty is when you go there on a Saturday and they haven’t time to properly talk to you. Talk to Lance @napacellars and he can amaze you

I did not have a chance to even taste their wine as their extremely poor customer service interrupted the tasting. We were a group of four celebrating my mom's 77th birthday and my aunt's 78th birthday in Napa. It was a great trip until our visit to this winery. We were guests onboard the Napa Valley Wine Trolley and this was our third winery stop, along with about 20 other tour attendees. This would have been our 9th wine tasting of the day which began at 10am! While my cousin and I were feeling fine and hanging in there, our mothers were feeling the effects and chose to opt out of this tasting. On the previous day, my aunt had opted out of certain tasting with no issue or commentary by the winery. Unfortunately this winery, the fourth largest in the United States I believe, decided that my mom and aunt could not sit in the outdoor tent without drinking. We explained that it was too much alcohol for them and Napa Cellars said "this was not a park" and the "education was too great to experience it for free." What?! This winery that makes millions then said that if our mothers wanted to sit with their daughters and not be kicked out of the tasting, they could pay $15 each for a soda...on their birthdays! My aunt wanted to cry as she gathered her things and left. We tried talking to management, specifically Brianna, for over ten minutes to no avail. Another one of our group members came out to explain to Brianna that she was just there two weeks prior with two guests who did not drink at all, and there was absolutely no issue then. Brianna did not care and we were still asked to leave. I blame the poor management of Napa Cellars for this horrible treatment, Brianna and her rude, insensitive callous customer service and the wine trolley as why wouldn't this policy be clear and explained early? A simple sentence of make sure you pace yourselves because Napa Cellars will kick you out if you do not drink (or charge you $15 for coke) would have sufficed. When we all left the tasting to sit in the shuttle van on this rainy Sunday afternoon, the driver stated that we were not the first to join him in the van at this winery! I immediately asked him then why do you keep bringing people here? Why not make their policy clear? Why have your clients pay over $500 for this tour to bring them to a winery that may treat them so poorly?? Does Napa Cellars really need the $30 from two grandmothers so badly?! This was awful and almost ruined the day. If it hadn't been for the next winery, Bougetz Cellars, and their AMAZING treatment of us, Napa Cellars would have ruined the entire weekend. Shame on them. Shame on everyone.

This is a very nice winery and offers a delicious selection of red wines. We were there 2 weeks ago today, a friend of ours is a club member and it was our first visit since we are from out of state. There was a delay in our 3rd tasting of wine as they were super busy and struggling to keep up. The female manager was so apologetic about it that she comped our entire tasting, which wasn't necessary, but she did it anyway. Regardless, the staff was super great, great wines and tastings offered were priced reasonably. I highly recommend this winery if you visit the area.

I recently went to Napa Cellars two weekends in a row and both experiences were really great. I had Darlene and Nathan as my hostess and both were really amazing. They were very friendly, kind, funny, and took the time to explain the wines for some new friends I brought along. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and the time each one of them took to make our experience a memorable one. I will definitely be going back and will be bringing more new folks with me. The wine was great and the picnic grounds were so relaxing. Thank You!

Went to Napa Cellars for the first time, and it was an incredible experience. From the serene and peaceful ambience with beautiful mountain and vineyard views, to the delicious wines, knowledgeable and attentive staff - overall, such a great experience. Also, the establishment is military/ veteran owned and provides great deals for military members. Lance and Russ were excellent hosts. Highly recommend visiting on your trip to the Napa area. This place is modest and low key compared to the wineries in the area - don’t miss out!

Mostly wanted to put in a good word for Lance, who served us knowledge, friendliness and his passion with a side of wine. Lance was super friendly, cracked jokes, shared his passion for wine, was open to our thoughts and experiences, and was all around a great host. Really appreciate him entertaining our questions and sharing his knowledge and it was Lance that made our experience so memorable. Will definitely be back and hope the best for him. :)A super cozy underrated winery in the Napa area. We got a quintessential Napa and Winemaker tasting. The wines were classic and excellent with a couple of interesting twists thrown in. Property is great with picnic tables and shade by some vineyards
