Growing up, I used to come to this, Walgreens, and it was always packed with things ❤️ 🍭 💄 This time around, multiple years later, I noticed many of the isles were unstocked and empty 😔 The floors were a bit scuffed and the energy was low. I came to the pharmacy to pickUp a prescription and after a few attempts was able to get my order filled.What happened to the vibe?

DO NOT pay extra for delivery of medication. It is extremely unreliable at this location. Your application may tell you that there is a deadline for same-day delivery, but unfortunately that's not true. You can place an order before 4:00 for delivery, but it's not going to get to you same day.

Hello everyone,I just want to support some comments that I have read on this site telling about my experience in this Walgreens Pharmacia in Foothill Blvd.I was ordering a medication that my mother had run out of and one of the cashiers at the pharmacy told me that the medication had been picked up, I told her that we had not done it and that I wanted to know who had done it, she told me that he couldn't show me who had done it.I called my mother's insurance and they told me that the medication had been canceled by the pharmacy since we did not go to pick it up on time, according to them, but they said it had been picked up.I called the pharmacy again and the manager rudely told me that the prescription was very old and that is why they couldn't refill it. I then asked her why they had given me two different versions and she only told me that she and she only told me that she had not answered my call or told me that and hung up.It is difficult for there to be no one who can do something for the clients, we pay for a service that is provided to us but is quite deficient and with many entanglements.I don't want to go back there.Thank you and good luck!

I spoke with Ashley, who identified herself as the store manager, and the encounter was both unprofessional and unsatisfactory.On 09/08/2023, I called the pharmacy to inquire about the availability of a prescription. Ashley's response was abrupt and rude, as she hung up the phone during our conversation. When I called back and asked if she could check other nearby pharmacies for the medication, she refused to help. When I requested a future call-back time, she was dismissive and uncooperative.Finally, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, Ashley hung up on me once more. This behavior is unacceptable, especially from a store manager, and it has left me frustrated.I kindly request an investigation into this matter and hope you will take the necessary steps to ensure that such unpleasant experiences do not recur at [Store Location: 3232 Foothill Blvd, Oakland, CA 94601].Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

This Walgreens is the worst store & least helpful.I needed a important rx filled. The pharmacy didn’t have it in stock & refused to have it transferred to the store. They told me the doctor would have to resend it to a different store.It’s really awful & shameful that they aren’t able to do a basic transfer. I switched to CVS with 0 issues.

The pharmacy there has consistently the worst customer experience I've experienced. From the attitude and rudeness to the extreme lack of care. Every experience I've had picking up my prescriptions has been a complete nightmare. I'm currently on hold with the pharmacy, where in 13 minutes, someone has picked up 5 times and put me back on hold. I am wowed at how the customer service seems to get worse with every interaction. How are these corporate businesses capable of treating customers so poorly? What are people to do when these business keep pushing out the mom and pop pharmacies that actually treat people respectfully? I hate Walgreens and I wish we'd all band together and stop going there.

Store can't function on 2 cashiers, might as well close it. Waited 15 minutes to not even get a deodorant at this point people are gonna steal instead of buy, security guard doesn't even do anything

The employees in the pharmacy are the most rude people I've ever dealt with.When you call in to place a refill on your medication, the hold time might be up to twenty minutes or more.Their customer service skills are the worst I've ever seen. They all need to go back and be retrained.

Customer service for Covid-19 booster shots took more than 30 minutes. Staff asked what we were complaining about. The neighborhood stinks and the store is representative of the area. To top things off a fight broke out in the store as my wife and I left. Walgreens pharmacy staff suck.

This review is for the pharmacy. The pharmacy service is dismal. Very, very slow. There really is no excuse for such bad service. More than once I just left the store because the line for prescriptions was so long and not moving at all. I've seen frail, elderly people who had to leave because they just couldn't stand on their feet any longer in line! My heart was breaking for them This is pathetic. The drive thru window is no better. There just seems to be no incentive at ALL for them to improve in this area. Of course, they wouldn't DARE try to pull this crap in a more affluent neighborhood. For this I hate them and will not do business with this pharmacy. The laziest bunch of no-count workers that I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I was picking something out and the security walked up to me asking if I was going to pay for what I had in my hand ? Duuh I'ma pay he assumed I was stealing I found that very disrespectful he said I had items in my pockets when all o had was a ointment in my hand for my son he wasn't even wearing any store clothing or security uniform. I had to ask the cashier if he was actually their store security. She was nice. Your security needs better customer service training.

This is for the Pharmacy: I understand that there are a lot of customers waiting for their prescriptions, which mean the wait may be longer, but it should not take 35 minutes before I am rudely asked if I have been helped. Then it takes another 20 minutes before I actually receive my medications. The workers are incompetent and they are just walking acting like they are preoccupied, instead of helping the customers.

I called and waited for hours for someone to pick up the phone. However, when someone does, he/she hangs up the phone! This was done so many times! How rude they are!

The staff here are absolutely incompetent. When I tried to refill one of my medicines i was given the wrong dosage. When trying to explain the problem i was told to talk to my doctor for a dosage change. What if this was heart medicine? I could have been killed. Absolutely incompetent. I'm changing pharmacies. You lost my business for good, Walgreens. Be thankful I'm not the suing type.

I write this knowing full well the pharmacy staff will not care. I have been to many pharmacies and been frustrated with slow motion staff. However this stores pharmacy is the worst. I went through the drive through yesterday to pick up my medication. For 15 minutes I sat at the window without being acknowledged let alone served. There were 4 cars behind me creating chaos in the parking lot because they were blocking they way. It was truly infuriating to watch 3 women milling around going through other prescriptions but serving no one inside or out for the 15 minutes I sat there. I range the call button and they just hung it up without saying anything. It all seemed way way to intentional and although this location is convenient for me I am never going back for medication.

Do NOT fill your prescription here!This Walgreens pharmacy dispensing system has been down for 5 days and is not dispensing prescriptions. It is a glorified grocery store. Go to CVS Health in Fruitvale, they have a functional pharmacy.

She make a joke to have a sit and she just laughed and said oh you’re already sit down that was so disrespectful and the woman didn’t like it. She is so rude I don’t know why they still keep her.

Rude and careless. One of the cash registers was demanding and impatient with my mother who is foreign and doesn't understand English very well so the worker had a negative tone and loud voice, almost to a point where she was yelling at her.
