Staff is friendly and helpful. Even when assisting other customers they greet you as you walk in the door. Staff is knowledgeable about not only their products, but also about local animal services. The kind of staff where if they don’t have an answer they’ll work together to find one. Always a cheerful experience. If you need pet food or information they’re the store.

Came in on a Monday morning asking about an Amazon return done 2 weeks ago that was never refunded, opening manager said there was nothing they can do, I mentioned looking at the cameras in case an employee didnt process the return or stole the items, where the manager said it would take hours to review the footage despite me saying I knew the day and time of the return, I worked in retail for 10 years and it doesn't take "hours" when you know exactly when an incident happens. This manager is a liar and just wanted me to leave. Horrible customer service!

Service and merchandise is great in store. My beef is that the prices on some items are heavily discounted online and the same prices aren't available in stores.

Clean, calm and quiet when I was there. Well-stocked, a special space for do-it-yourself animal bathing and wild-caught Atlantic fish for dog food. When have you ever seen wild-caught Atlantic fish (NOT salmon) in a peoples grocery store or restaurant?! Me, never. Oh, and Halloween pet costumes, also sports branded regalia. For pets. Oh my...

Had a pretty good experience washing my doggo at their self service dog wash ($15). The staff was friendly and provided an apron, towels, shampoo and conditioner. The wash stations have good pressure and temperature controls so it's pretty easy to wash your pup. I didn't give 5 stars because the shampoo was heavily diluted (as other reviewers have noted) so I had to use almost a whole bottle to wash my 48 lb dog with short hair. Overall a good experience and good price. Staff also helped me find options for the dog food I wanted to buy, so good job on that too.

The associate from a different day made it very clear we could groom cats there, and when the challenge of bringing the cat to the store arose, other staff said that was not possible. Very disappointing overall and lead to a challenging morning.

Awful customer service. I argued with the cashier. Priscilla, for about 15 mins about an incorrect charge. She made assumptions, did not listen, and it was an extremely frustrating and awkward experience. Cashiers need to learn communication and how to handle issues.

Every experience is warm greetings from your incredibly knowledgeable staff. Just got a puppy recently, was easy peezy and I got probably the healthiest wet puppy food I think I've ever came across, I left the store with that old feeling like CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT DEAD!😊 Thanks lots, I'll be back.

There is such a vast array of personalities that work here. That works for me. And the Number one ingredient of 9 out of 10 employees at THIS particular location is genuine, customer oriented experience. They smile and really give you the impression they give a damned. Not all, but most.Why is this important? Because it makes me feel more inclined to spend my hard earned cash to a company that wants me to make an informed decision on my animal companions health and well being.The store is always clean and the dog treat bins have an abundant variety. The prices are reasonable and the experience overall has been nothing short of Awesome, each visit.P.S. I have visited this store since the VERY first day they opened their doors.

It's pointless even going to this store because they have major inventory problems. It's a very small store to begin with and they always have completely empty shelves for days or weeks at a time. Every time I have gone they are out of things I need.

A small but great pet store located in a very convenient location. You can get most supplies for dogs and cats such as food, water and food dishes, crates, cat little, various toys, treats, you name it. The location even has a machine that will etch identification tags for your furry friend. The store employees are a wonderful help and are more than willing to help you locate whatever it is you need. When I last visited, during the day on a week day, it was not too busy and am awesome employee helped me work the etching machine for my new adopted canines tag. We then were able to pick up the new identification tags along with pet food, a crate, treats, and toys all in one stop. Later we had to return an item and the store employees made it very simple and helped us right away with no questions asked. Great place and location for all your let needs!

The store had a very bad odor to it. I went to get my dog's nails clipped but they do not do it at this location. It would have been so helpful if I could have known this before going and I would have planned accordingly. Also FYI you need proof of update shot record.

They have excellent cat litter! After being ignored by staff some months back and received apology and one free cat litter for being ditzed by staff (and that was all), I am happy to continue to go get my cat litter there. The rest of supplies I purchase elsewhere. Hopefully, you'll have a much better experience there!

I love this place! They have really helpful staff-very knowledgeable. I had a serious problem with my new kitten goung potty on my bed and freaking out when ID place her in her letter box. So thankfully I went to unleashed because they just happen to have exactly what I needed. A litter with faramone that attracts kittys to litter box regardless

The staff at lakeshore and piedmont are great. My puppy walks right in and straight to the register because she already knows she's going to get butt scratches and snacks hahaThey're always really friendly and quick to help.Sometimes what the website says they have in-stock at a store is not correct so I've learned to call ahead and double check.

I was shopping for 3 Instacart customers at this store on Sunday 9/8 and Megan and Michelle were working that day. They were both so helpful and knowledgeable. I was having a difficult time getting the app to work because the Internet in the store wasn't working. Note to Petco Corporate offices: Please get working Internet connection at this location. I've shopped at the locations in Alameda and they have good Internet. Anyway, Michelle and Megan were extremely helpful and I was finally able to complete my purchases. Also, the store is clean and wellorganized and parking can be a challenge especially on the weekends.

The staff here are so sweet and helpful, and the dog baths are affordable and imo better than Pet Food Express - no timed baths/dry time, and you get a cute little shampoo/conditioner/brush kit to take with you to the doggy bath room! They also have great deals on various items when you're a club member.

Great location and inventory, but products are on the pricey side, tending toward boutique pet supply brands instead of a mix of mainstream and higher end. I'd shop here more often if they'd offer a better range and more affordable products.

Super cool. Low key pet store with a great staff that is very friendly and helpful. Best thing the place is only medium size. So your not dealing with a 20 isle massive store with too many choices!
