We adopted 2 rabbits from here. One named Tobi and another named Gabby. They get along so well. But to the actual review, it is a cool place to hang out with bunnies or adopt one. All of them are treated well and have big free roam cages available.

I stopped by one evening out of curiosity and I was amazed to see a wonderland of rescued bunnies. It was relieving to see the hard work the staff and business put in to rescue rabbits, mice, rats, Guinea pigs, etc. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions on rabbit care. The space they have did have a look of disorganization at first but the space is sanitary and maintained. I let friendly bunnies sniff and lick my hand through the cages and I would have been allowed to hold one of I asked. I love this adorable place.

I’ve boarded my two guinea pigs multiple times, and I know they’ve always been cared for so lovingly. The staff always ask if they’ve had their pellets and Vitamin C when I drop them off, so you know that they are knowledgeable about guinea pig care. Winnie and Tofu will be back for their vacation soon - thank you James and team!!

A small animal rescue shelter with boarding, adoption, pet supplies and grooming/nails. Lovely people working hard to keep a good thing going on the community. If you're looking for a new friend to add to the family, this is a great place to learn more about keeping rabbits, guinea pigs and small mammals.

I’m disappointed in myself that I haven’t written a review to this place yet!! I’ve been going to this place for years and it’s been a fantastic experience every time. It’s the only place I can get the right food and accessories for my chinchillas. The staff there are wonderful people, always kind and friendly. I’m always happy spending my money there.

They really know about rabbits and take excellent care of them. I take my rabbit for nail trims and have boarded him there once. Love this place. Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable and cares about your rabbit.

Rabbit Ears specializes in all things rabbit! Their prices are great but what sets them apart is their service. Judy and her staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, kind and care deeply about the pets you bring in.They also have great stock and also board/groom animals for extremely reasonable prices. If you have a rabbit or guinea pig, this is your place!

John, James, Kate and all the staff and volunteers are wonderful and will help you find a loving bunny (or guinea pig!) companion for you and your family. An animal rescue organization, their prices for food, treats and hay make pet ownership more affordable than shopping at retail stores. The staff are immensely knowledgeable about the animals. Great experience adopting from here. Affordable adoption fees made it easier to take my little guy home. Lots of smiles here! Stop by for a visit and get some bunny love 🐰

If you have any interest in adopting or just helping a bunny, this is the company to support. Small non profit, run by the sweetest people who absolutely love rabbits. If you are a rabbit lover you can not give your business to a better place (they also sell everything you need to invite a bunno to your family) Great prices and always happy to have volunteers! I can't express how wonderful this place truly is!

Rabbit Ears Rescue were incredibly helpful and responsive when I contacted them about a potential need for an emergency boarding of pets for a client escaping domestic violence. They clearly had high standards of care for the pets they board and while we did not end up requiring their services, I would recommend them highly.

We picked up our rescue guinea pig from RabbitEARS and are so glad we did. Knowledgable staff that is very friendly and helped us choose the right new addition to our family. Our son loves coming by and looking at the rabbits every time we come back to buy hay and supplies. Definitely recommend coming here for your next rescue pet. Never buy your pets from pet shops!

Quirky wonderful people! I am so grateful there is a well stocked bunny store that not only provides hay and food and bedding and toys that make it fun to shop for my bun bun, but also boards bunnies. It is so wonderful to visit the Buns there. Also guinea pigs.

I been to Rabbitears a few times to get free rabbit poop for my garden. The last 2 times I got 11 bags. Staff was friendly and give me a cart to haul to my car. Just call them ahead of time so they know you are coming and have some available.

I really enjoy coming to this place to visit the many rabbits, maybe about 100 to choose from, all different colors and personalities. If you bring in food like kale etc. you are allowed to feed them. They keep their cages really clean. Whenever I come, someone is changing the bedding, blankets, and towels. There are chinchillas, rats, hampsters, and a vast selection of guinea pigs to adopt here as well. All animals are well cared for and happy. They truly care for the animals. They do 3 bonding sessions to make sure your picks are compatible with a friend you already have at home. You can leave them overnight and they do the work for you. They're really good at being attentive to their language verbal and physical. If it doesn't work out once they're in your home, you can always bring your furry friend back, no problems. They sell hay and pellets there for cheap! And if for some reason you can't pay, they have a volunteer option, you can volunteer to pay off your balance. It's a little hard to spot from the street, but it's there on San Pablo in El Cerrito. Donations are welcomed!

Homey rabbit/Guinea pig/mouse/rat storefront rescue place with a score or more animals lovingly tended by kindly volunteers. Food and supplies are available, including some specialty cat and dog food (very dear, but very special.) They were gentle and supportive of the enthusiasm and curiosity of the 3.5 year old child who was with us. Worth a look if you are interested in a different type of pet.

This place has the best people and well cared for bunnies in a low key environment. They have great hay, and bunny/rodent lodging for when you need it. Highly recommend!

Been going to this place for 10 years. I adopted one bunny from their previous and long-time owner and original founder, Judy. They do great work there with bunnies.

I called in response to a Craigslist ad for rabbit poop for the garden. The person I spoke with said to come by at 5 pm. When I got there she said they didn't have any. They seem very flippant about other people's time and effort. My opinion is based solely on the attitude I experienced regarding the litter, and not on the other services they offer.
