Where to start? This dollar tree has been around all my childhood, and it wasn’t until today, that I realized how worn down, and dirty it has become. The isles are messy, the outside is boarded up, the paint is chipping away, there are tagging a outside of the building and the parking lot looks like a dumping ground.Message to the owner, it’s time to do some upkeep to your store. You’re located in a prime location, where beautiful black and brown people come to get groceries and snacks, and we deserve a bit more respect as paying, loyal customers.Now that prices have increased to $1.25, it’s only fair that you show your customers that you are investing in them the same way we are investing in you’re storeAdditionally, Although I am super thankful that the bathroom is available to us customers, I was by no means impressed with the cleanliness of it. Simple things could be done to decorate the bathroom, including using your own store inventory to make it look nice not only for your customers, but for your stuff who are there daily. There is a bad odor starting from the hallway of the bathroom and this is something that can be easily fixed.I truly hope you respond to this message by making healthy changes to your store to that demonstrates that you respect and value your staff and customers.Ps: I didn’t get her name but our cashier person was supper sweet, and the security guard is very nice as well‘Till next time :0)

The ecurity guard has been there over 20 years and he's the greatest. He's not trying to hurt anyone but Must do his job. So people...please don't steal. It's driving prices up everything andmits just not cool. Hey! They already have the best prices and the foo isn't low quality as some would have you believe. Compare and save people!

The store is generally clean and tidy, I just wish there was a greater selection of crafting supplies! Like any dollar store, you'll want to get any seasonal items early. They don't chance overstocking so if you need any last minute holiday supplies this is not your best bet.

Always the BOMB! Balloons and party accessories for a buck. Can't beat it. Warning: one buck will turn into 50 fast! In a good kind of way :-)

Amazing place the staff there was super nice and amazing. Ppl there can be rude cause of long lines when ppl are getting balloons. The art outside is amazing though.

The young security Guard they have there today wasn't paying attention his face was down in his phone, they only have 2 lines open, I even told the guard he should put his phone away to do his job but he look at me then his head went rite back down onto his phone.

A LOT of GREAT items. Cart wasn't big enough to hold everything. The cashier double and triple charged various items AND failed to pack an entire bag into my cart for transport ($13 loss)😟 if possible check your receipt before leaving parking lot 🙄

If I don’t want to go all the way to San Leandro just for the dollar store this is the only one with decent cleaning supplies near me which is what I mostly go for. Unfortunately there is almost always someone in the store yelling or stealing.

This store is great for cards, party goods, balloons, cleaning materials for your home, canned goods, toothpaste, soap choices, etc. Not a place to buy produce or meats; but this is not a grocery store. Quick fix frozen meals, yogurt; these types quickies meals are available to purchase. Prices for the items they carry are great! Updated 4-8-22. Now $1.25 for most formerly priced $1 goods.

A wonderful place to purchase greeting cards, cleaning supplies,snacks,and spices, plus liquid hand soap for the bathroom,and kitchen. I enjoy my little trips to Dollar Tree, it's a Win,Win every time I shop there👍.

My experience was nice coming into the store today. I went in to get myself a pair of sunglasses. They have really good quality ones there. and of course everybody knows everything as a dollar so I couldn't beat $1 sunglasses

I was surprised how much parking was available. I got agreat spot, close to the entrance. I got my items & went to check out. There was 2 people in front of me. I barely had my things out of the basket before I was being rung up. I was in and out in 10 min (8 min spent shoping). Awesome!

It's pretty clean for a store in Oakland. Pleanty of parking, lines at the register do get long but the staff accommodates pretty quickly to try to reduce the wait time. The only negitive isn't even about the staff or store, people that shop there create a mess, if it wasn't for the staff being on top of their game the store would be a wreck.

They were well stocked. Had everything that I went there for and some good things that I didn't go there for. I was satisfied with everything that I bought. All of the staff were very nice, friendly and fast.

If you want to get a taste of hell, come here in the evening around 7. Waiting to pay for two items? Only a 25 minute wait (don't worry, I timed it for accuracy). Have 15 people in your line and a guys card won't swipe, only to find out it's over 45 CENTS?! Let's call a Supervisor and extend this.. Awful.

Truly unique shopping experience. Dollar Tree has more than i thought. The best time to go is 10am Fridays. No crowd, sufficient parking, and the parking lot isn't littered with filth.

Prices are excellent: 1$, no line at the cashier so maybe they finally hired enough. Too many sold out categories: solar bobble toys, phone cords. Also messy, always feels dirty, maybe lighting is too dim.

Parking lot is always covered in trash and gross oily puddles and inside of store is always dirty looking but stuff is cheap if they are carrying what you need.

The dollar tree has a large assortment of low priced items. Most of the stuff here is cheap, although some of the items sold here for $1 are sold for $2-3 elsewhere. Some of the best deals are on items like boxed candy, disposable batteries, cleaning supplies and housewares.Do not expect much help from staff. Make sure you lock the doors on your car.

Well its $1.25 Tree now, prices have increased and so have the lines. Staff were patient, though this is not my favorite location, it's a standard Dollar Tree. I felt the shelves were a bit bare but it could be because its holiday season.

Horrible avoid at all cost! The surrounding are around the store is completely filthy! Dangerous looking homeless people wandering around the parking lot. Definitely needs a uniformed police officer there

Today it was very sloppy and unorganized. Most of the food shelves hadn't been stocked, but the doors to the warehouse we're open and you could see all the unstocked boxes. Total disarray, so I wasted time and had to go to another store. I was very dissatisfied today. You shouldn't have to travel out of the area to find a decent store. I work in Concord bon Clayton Blvd there is no comparison as far as the store, customer service, or stock.I have no rating, but they want it so one is as close as I can give for the 25th and E14thSt Location in Oakland, Can.
