The technician at this location is terrible. Dr sent in a RX, I called to verify and the guy who answers the phone was extremely rude. Started going off how they will not be answering the phones and to check the app. I expressed to him that I would be a new customer and that I didn’t have a profile, he acted extremely bother that he had to look it up. Then proceeded to tell me he sent back the RX cause my insurance didn’t pay for it. How did he know I didn't want to pay out of pocket.. the whole conversation and experience was bad.. Bad customer service. I will not be bring over my prescription to this location nor to CVS.. really left a bad taste in my mouth. No one should be treated that way. Specially new customer.

Zero satisfaction with customer service!!! I paid $70 cash to reload my prepaid card there. The front store lady did her work seemingly and she didn’t print a receipt for me while I was in hurry. Later I discovered that the money didn’t come to my card because it was not ably to be reloaded there. They created a case number for me even finding the card numbers and time of payment and covered to refund but at the end the customer service today said nothing and money is not there.

Plenty of parking and the store is big with plenty of staff and security.I came here for my Covid vaccine. I made an appointment online and when I walked in there was a clear sign on how to check in and where to go.Even though there were mant customers, all the staff treated everyone with kindness and great attitude!The whole process takes about 30-45 mins. Everyone is patient and friendly.

CVS on Fruitvale was robbed by a large group of people this week. CVS is usually not a bad place to shop. If the owners of these stores, don’t go high tech. Implement security changes, not the same old way. There will be no shopping in areas like these. These communities spend and they are worth it, step up!!!

What I loved about this store is that the employees are amazing and friendly. Store presentation is really great at this location. Staffing is knowledgeable about product. I feel safe when shopping at this location due to the added arm security. Who is also knowledgeable and friendly.

This CVS is absolutely abhorrent. The customer service here will treat you like a burden and disregard your issues. I could not give a lower rating to this specific location.

This is the slowest pharmacy in the Bay Area. I've waited for over 20 minutes on the phone to speak with someone about the status of my order. The representatives are rude. This pharmacy is a joe and the company should completely restart or close the store! #gettingacheckfornothing

I went to the pharmacy at the store a couple days ago and from the moment I walked up to the counter the lady working there was extremely rude! She wouldn't let me speak and kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain something to her. But she would not even let me talk. She kept cutting me off and speaking of something irrelevant to what I was going there for. Then a man came over and started doing the same exact thing. Both speaking with a very negative tone and not listening to what I'm trying to tell them. When I was finally allowed to explain why I was there they noticed they were wrong but did not want to be accountable for it. So they started making up excuse after excuse so that the would not help me. Even though I had already spoke with other workers from CVS who said what I was trying to do is fine. I'll definitely never deal with this specific CVS ever again and would never recommend it to anyone.

The staff was really great, and in particular the pharmacy group. I was looking for help with specific OTC products, and the floor staff took me to the pharmacy consult window, made sure I got help, and between the two, I found exactly what I needed. The pharmacy also was very helpful with getting my prescription filled, insurance set up and with care instructions explained. I was really impressed with the store lay out, and orderly design, however, call me a newbie, but I've never had an voice come out of thin air above me, acknowledge my presence in a particular department, and let me know an associate will be with me soon..... service dogs are welcome, and well mannered dogs that are controlled and behaved are allowed. Don't abuse the privilege of being allowed to bring your service dog into this store. Enjoy.

I needed a few items. Had to call staff because they stocked items in the wrong spot and didn't match prices. Went to use my Extra care points but couldn't until the 9th. I still got what I needed fairly quickly and at a decent price. My clerk was very nice and all smiles. AMEN 👌🏽

CVS if it's crowded, the line goes by fast. Great prices and the cashiers are very friendly. But I gotta say the pharmacy sucks the cashiers are not friendly at all and the service in that department is horrible! But all other departments are fine, need to hire better staff in that department!

The cashiers at the pharmacy are always friendly but I've been shorted on my ADD medication (a controlled substance) more than once (no one has access to my medications in my home besides me). When I've called to ask about it, they say that their count is correct.

My elderly brother who lives in CVS Fruitvale area in Oakland, Ca walked from home to get a COVID-19 Vaccination but was told he had to make an appointment online! He doesn't have internet and he explained that. They told him, "Oh Well, that's how you have to do it!" He even asked if he can make an appointment there and they refused! WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT!

I’m a regular customer at this store and there remodeled configuration is fine but there pay lines are incredibly inefficient and unfair to customers- with wait lines totally dependent on who you end up behind.The Asst Mgr says nothing will work which is wrong attitude. I urge them to observe other stores with a single line for all registers because it does work e.g. Walgreens and Trader Joe’s on Lakeshore and they have similar space constraints.

This place is terrible. Just waited on hold for 20 minutes to talk to pharmacist, who acted like he couldn't hear me (line sounded fine) and hung up on me. This was only the latest in a string of miserable experiences with this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this unresponsive, rude and low-functioning store

This is the worst pharmacy. They never have anything prescribed to me by doctors. And there are myriad other problems with this place, including that shop lifting seems so bad that everything is in locked cases do you have to wait for someone to come and open it to get st it making every trip that much longer.
