Carries the Diamond Naturals Brand which my dog loves. She's a blind 10 year old pomeranian with teeth only on one side of her mouth and she is still my happy girl. Took some pictures of the creatures they had for sale while I was there and of some very interesting creatures that were not for sale. Fell in love with this store and the staff was lovely. They even put my cases of dog food I bought in my trunk for me😍Thanks guys

Mission accomplished, my dogs were chewing the house down! Not anymore ;), dog chews galore~4 ☆ because I never went past the chews, teller was helpful & pleasant.

They over charge for crickets and also make you wait 20 minutes for them because they radio to someone in the back to get your crickets and no one ever comes and the person at the front usually goes and gets it themselves after about 15 minutes. Like go get them yourself when I first ask for them instead of twiddling your fingers around, and yes I'm usually the only person there and they still take 20 minutes so plan to have your time be wasted.

Awesome customer service and our little town is very lucky to have such a well run, family owned business. Every employee there is friendly and helpful. Prices are very competitive and I prefer to shop here than buy from a large business down the hill. Keep up the GREAT customer service!

All the staff and owners at Steve’s pets and Corner Feed have been amazing to me over the years. Just last year, I had rescued a horse that was on deaths door step, the owners of the feed store donated much needed feed, and supplies this horse needed. The employees all also donated to help rescue this horse and with their help they made it possible to save his life. It’s never mattered what I’ve gone in for every person there has always been willing to help and very happy to do so. I love going in and shopping there and taking my dogs in with me when I do. I couldn’t recommend a better place to go for your pets needs they have have something for just about everyone including fish, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses and other types of cattle.

They're always friendly and helpful. Steve's has lots of cool fish and supplies to choose from. They're feed store is a hop skip and a jump from the main shop. They get the community involved in adoptions and vaccinations too. We hope Steve's will be around for years to come.

We came in here after visiting the feed store on the corner of 426 by the high school. There is a young man in there named Jesse who was more than willing to help us out with any questions that we had (... and we had a ton of them). We were asking him about everything in that store from those little chinchillas to the big old Argentine reptiles. That kid is a real asset to this little business. I hope this gets back to the owner to let him know that you should give that kid a raise and make sure he does him good because he will for sure do him good, that is of course as long as he shows up everyday and his attendance is on point.

We were 300 miles from home with our cat who is not the greatest of travel companions.Due to her stress level, I decided that we needed to a) get her larger traveling accommodations and b) sweeten her up with some wet food.The only place in town was "Steve's". Because we were desperate, I decided to take a chance on a tiny pet store in the middle of no where.Imagine my surprise when I walked into the store and realized that it was not a "tiny" pet store with dust covered shelves. It is a pet store that rivals any store in more populated cities with high quality food, and a wide selection of products.Not only was the store well stocked, with friendly staff who went out of their way to help, the prices were as good or better than stores in Orange County, CA. (I priced the products we purchased at the local chain store and I saved a $100 by purchasing from Steve's!)I loved the store, and had fun browsing the small pets and reptiles. They are well taken care of with behavioral enrichment items in their enclosures. Healthy and relaxed animals told the story of being well cared about.My cat was more relaxed on her ride home with her bigger enclosure.I will be going back to Steve's Pet Store when we return to Oakhurst to visit family. It is a cut above many non-chain pet stores. Happy pets, happy employees and happy customers.

These guys are great! Went to get kitten food and a few toys. Staff were very attentive and almost immediately asking how they could help. Owner was there and very knowledgeable about all the products he sold. No food sold here with any fillers/addatives for a lower cost than you will pay for name brand. Will be back

The help is all rude. They act like you are bothering them if you need help. I have heard them making fun of people while they are in the store and after they leave. Prices are jacked way up. Double anywhere else. Most of there fish and tanks have ick. We have bought 20 or so fish there and all of them except 2 all died.

I love the variety of stock. Yes, I find things I didn't know I wanted (spoil your pet) or needed (training aids). I have NEVER found an employee to be anything but helpful, patient, and smiling.
