I moved to Oakhurst in 1989. I found and started using “Wood Choppers”.Then Tim bought the business, changed the name to “Choppers”. Over all of these years to present date I have bought and supported Choppers. I have bought chain saws, weedeatgers, rider tractor mower, Zero turn riding mower, a new replacement gas engine, and a large pile of miscellaneous repair items along with safety gear. Over all the years Tim has become a dear friend and a trusted businessman. I will always use and support Choppers for all of my house and property needs. Alaways !

Tim always has the parts and service I need. I was in fresno last week and thought I’d pick up a new 24” bar for my husky chainsaw. I went to 2 big shops. Neither had it. Choppers did. I’ll never try to save time getting cutting gear in Fresno again. Just go to Choppers.

This is a good shop for equipment purchase. Their prices are moderately reasonable. Getting something repaired is not easy. They are behing over a month and do not take a ccx wait list forcing the customer to call every week and check availability.

Always helpful and friendly. Priced according to the market, so very reasonable considering the constraints of the price of buying wholesale and paying for a business. A pleasure to do business with them. Have tried and continue to support all of the saw shops that I know of within an hour drive for work, yet I come here for my personal saws supplies.

This place will sell your elderly father a chainsaw then if it needs a simple fix(new carb) tell you its on back order for 3 months until you get tired of waiting for a simple part and order the carb yourself in 30 seconds off of Amazon. Then they wanted $7 for disassembling the carb and not fixing anything. Ridiculous that your store won't stand behind or have the resources at your disposal to get a carb after 3 months when the saw was purchased from your store. Save your money and time folks and find someone else to fix your saw.

This shop has been here for at least 4 Decades. It has always had good service. Our local Sears store uses it for their warranties. I have my trimmer mower in there for repair now, so I 'll add a new post when I get it back next week. Added review. 5 days for repair. 2 days earlier than the week they told me, probably wise to say a week...

There’s really only one place in town thats devoted to this equipment. I had to buy the wrong part I was told it would fit. It was the cover for a weedeater I ended up by the whole assembly only the cover would fit on not the inside parts I called first they said they had it when I got down there they only had the Hole assemblies. Either way I had to go back-and-forth and spend the money on gas

I took my tiller in for a no start repair. I was told they were very busy and it would be 2 weeks. 5 weeks later with no call, I called and was told it needed a part that would be in a week later. Still no call from them, I checked and was told the wrong part came in and another week. Their explanation was they were busy and took things as they arrived. When I arrived, they were busy and it was a 2 week repair. Now looking at 6 weeks, I doubt this is one local business I will ever support again.

I take my chainsaw in every two months.get carving bars chains and have them look at my chainsaw.they are friendly and really helpful and don't charge me a arm and a leg.I would highly recommend them..
