Round trip to oakhurst twice o ace, rented a roller for lawn, hired two young man to help me, I’m 80. Get home filled it with water the plug falls out. Put it back in tighten harder walk 10 feet the plug blows out again, this time tighten the heck as hard as we could, the plug blows out.Rent $10.00 good price, gas for two trips to Ace $25. Had to pay the helper something..All Ace would say, we’re sorry, my family always buys local, but will not trust ace hardware for anything.Poor quality equipment,poor service. Lost a whole day thanks to Ace.Berl

Another 10 minutes wait in line, waiting for the cashier to put boxes away, apparently the 3 boxes on the registers was more important than the 6 customers in line.Try the Oakhurst Tractor supply.

I would live there but they don't have rooms. I always find what I am looking for, they are excellent at matching color even if it is off-brand , and they have a $1.25 section with a lot of variety of products. 5-star all the way.

A great ACE store entering Oakhurst off hwy 49. Un believable Stihl inventory. Tons of staff, so seldom have to wait for assistance. Friendly and knowledgeable staff ( I hear very nice owners, too). Like all ACE Harware stores, a bit on the pricey side, but inventory and staff make up for it.

Good service and a reasonable inventory especially since they're in the middle of remodeling. Took their time to explain to me about a question I had for them that made sure I got with the thing that I needed for the job I was doing. The knowledgeable staff who are eager to be helpful really add a lot of value. I may pay a few cents more than at other places but getting knowledgeable answers is well worth any price difference.

They are still transitioning the new store so it is hectic. The clerks are in good humor and will help find your not-yet-found items. The one "downer" was I found my paint but their tinting unit was not working. I like their prices, so I will wait a day or two to finish my project.

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are comparable to Home Depot. Lots of inventory and returns no problem. Sign up for Ace Rewards and its an extra layer for those like me that lose receipts. Same owners as H and L Lumber for all building materials. Between the 2 locations it saves me trips to Fresno, Thanks Bryant's Ace..

Most of the staff are very rude and have no knowledge of there products. They overcharge and act like you are bothering them when asking for help. This is how they conduct business since they opened.

This is a time when change is NOT good! Ace takes over and our small town hardware store becomes a nightmare (keeping it clean for the kids). Associates standing around walking around and not 1 person asked us if we needed help finding anything. The store layout is ridiculous and should have never been changed! Everything is all over the place and you can't hardly find anything. Aimlessly walking around the store looking for things. The store is half empty. Change of store ownership and change of the stock, close the store down for a week and get it right!! Don't ever want to go here again! And yes, I'm a local. Ridiculous!

Returned a dry vac because the motor went out. I had a employee named Susy help me out. Very pleasant and helpful. Need more employees like her working here. Will be coming back to purchase more stuff in the future thanks to Susy.

The prices are way to high. They might as well use a gun to hold us up. That's no joke. I won't be wasting my money in there. It might be alright for 1 or 2 items. But if you need more than that. Take the time and drive to town.
