I think this was one of the best tri tip sandwiches I ever had! The meat was barbecued to perfection and cut thin. The taste and smell were amazing! The barbecue sauce is sweet and thick. The service was excellent and the grocery store has a huge selection of beer, w wine and specialty foods, definitely worth checking out if you are driving up to Lake Casitas or Ojai

Wonderful pulled pork sandwich and my favorite Perrier water, lime. 8-13-22 my friend and I had great sandwiches here today one was a hamburger the other was the spicy chicken.

I cannot drive past this place without stopping in. The range they have is simply amazing. The have the stuff that Vons doesn't carry - and many vegetarian choices!!!! How much in heaven am I ? Extremely happy, and the staff are always very friendly... especially the manager owner dude. Happy staff, happy owner always means happy shopping. Keep your money local and support the local shop!

What a lovely Old Market this is. Besides having a huge selection of fresh and seasonal items. Their selection of organic items is incredible. But for me the best part is the Barbecue and Deli. The entrance is on the side street. And they have a really big parking lot. If I live near here I'd probably be there everyday.

Locals spot! Out of towner's welcome. Great locally owned place that has the most extensive selection of wine, spirits and beer. The deli is fantastic and all of their meats are exceptional. To be honest, produce is eh. But if you are looking for beer, wine, spirits, meats, deli selections, or even home essentials for cleaning and such, this is your place. I love the friendly staff and like I said, locally owned. They are great! Check em out!!!

The market is conveniently located along highway 33 for quick pickup grocery items. You can pick up cooked barbecue dishes, meats, beer & wine, produce, and all other popular grocery items. The store is really clutch when you have forgotten one small item on your way home from other stores, work, etc. Some higher priced items may be higher due to convenience factor. However many fantastic priced and choice items are abound otherwise. There is also a glass/plastic bottles & cans recycling center around the back corner where they will give you a receipt to cash/spend in the market.

This is truly a great quality grocery store !The manager Leo, and other manager guys are so awesome!!They have been nothing but awesome to me while I'm selling my wreaths in front of their store!! I tried their tri tips that they make, OMG best tri tip I ever had!! Very welcoming cashier girls to!!Love this store!

Go in the front door and go left. The meat department has a secret little deli that makes BOMB sandwiches burgers and sides. Staff is always friendly and cranking out well seasoned and properly cooked meats. A hidden jem. Great scotch selection in front also.

This is a truly wonderful small town General Store with its own butcher. Notable for their especially extensive collection of wines and organic products of all kind, their produce can be very nice and well priced, the butcher is high quality, dairy products are fresh and there's a good selection of dry goods. They also sell a little bit of everything. Somehow, I almost always find the weird thing I'm looking for, maybe a strange shaped light bulb or Dura logs. Employees tell me that the owners are very good to them.

This is really a great little family market they have quite a selection when it comes to snacks Vitamins herbs wine liquor and the meat department is really fantastic. They Make Italian sausage And it is some of the best I've had since moving from New York!

This market is SO much better than it was some years back, with stocked shelves, lots of liquor and a good selection of natural and organic products, but now we are in a pandemic. The employees don't take wearing a mask seriously, despite the county currently requiring all indoor business workers to wear masks all the time. Will put one on if called out, but usually are not wearing a mask when I first come in. Checker even told me the health department had visited because of complaints about no masks. Lip service.

Over the past year the new owner of the store has done a pretty good job transforming this once horrible grocery store into something much better. They now carry organics fresh produce, gluten-free items, loads of different vitamins and herbal supplements (which are usually on sale), great BBQ food and a huge array of micro-beers and wines to choice from.

An odd space as it is an older building that has been recently redecorated but not refurbished. Has a good selection of staples, healthy options, ethnic ingredients, and alcohol. Unlike many grocery stores, it has lots of extra unused room so not a cramped place. The alcohol was a bit more expensive than average but not outrageously so.

Excellent Q-Time Barbecue! Best in town! Great cole slaw too! Massive selection of cold drinks, local milk, staples, a small produce section and more! Their Tri-Tip and ribs are the best! I think they do chicken too. Yum, yum!You have to see the drinks selection to believe it. Coffees, sodas, energy drinks, milks (fresh local milk, strawberry, chocolate, and so much more!) Try something new & make a new favorite! Nicest people working there too!

The one and only market in this little town and they don't take EBT. I don't know what the stores have to have to accept it, but I'm betting that a good portion of Oak View citizens have EBT and they have to drive to one of the smaller more expensive markets or to Ojai or Ventura.

This is a good market, bit they don't take COVID seriously at all. They serve unmasked customers, and some employees are unmasked in food prep and back areas. I would give them a pass but CA has zero hospital bed capacity.There needs to be a hard line. No mask, no service. When at work (especially around prepared food) wear a mask. No excuses. For the good of us all.

This market has become a lot of people's favorite place to shop! The produce department has really been upgraded! This is one of the nicest market in the Ojai Valley with a friendly staff! Please visit store and you will be impressed.....The owner Hakeem is a very nice man!

The owner was helpful and the section for specialty food items is always expanding. If you would like a hard to find specialty item like pickled eggs or such just ask the owner if he can order it he will. Store is a little bit more expensive but you should expect that with a small local convenience market.

On 5.11.21 approx 7 p.m. went into this market for the deli counter. To my dismay, found one of the male owner/managers without a mask on!!! When I asked him what the store policy was on masks he said "it's up to the individual and everyone's been vaccinated". REALLY??? EVERYONE?? I don't know where he gets his data but last I heard California was under 50% vaccinated (45%). In my opinion, this is a poor reflection of how he cares about the health, well being & safety of his customers, let alone following City, County & State protocols.

It's a great place. Super friendly staff. Of course, a little more pricey, but it's an old comfortable, homey place. I really like it.
