I have shopped here in person, online, and even for a special order, by phone, each representative is alway friendly, knowledgeable about the products, and helpful. For online orders, they are processed quickly and arrive at my doorstep promptly - often the next day! As to the product - it is far superior to any other birdfood I have tried. I even had to increase my bird budget to accommodate all the new visitors and I could not be happier!

Everything you need to feed and watch birds: feeders, birdseed, books, binoculars, spotting scopes and tripods. They stock at least 20 different binocular models (Nikon, Vortex & Zeiss) in sizes that are popular with birders. They are happy to let you test drive them outside the front of the store. Test driving is highly recommended to see if they feel comfortable in your hands, fit your face and work with your glasses. Test driving lets you compare models at different price points too. Priced the same as Amazon or B&H, not MSRP.

Tremendous expertise, service that go above and beyond, and fair prices for quality products. I bought a bird feeder stand from them that was 50% more expensive than a cheaper one from an online source, but it’s significantly better built with thicker steel and a great rust-inhibiting surface coat. It’s held up much better than the cheap stand. Nice folk, too!

They have very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The sell a very complete range of merchandise related to wild birds. They have everything from birdseed to binoculars. I was especially impressed with their selection of binoculars. They had binoculars in a wide range of prices so you could easily compare them to see what you were getting for your money. Their prices were competitive with those online.

I started ordering online from this store about a year ago after trying to figure out where to find a specific bird food a friend told me about (Bark Butter). Every order is shipped so quickly! Very friendly and responsive to questions too! I also appreciate the info that they send out periodically, such as surrounding the finch/siskin illnesses that plagued the west coast this year. Thanks for the excellent customer service and for the commitment to healthy wild birds!

My family and I have been visiting Wild Birds Unlimited in Novato for the last few years, ever since we moved to Marin. We absolutely love this store.They have an amazing range of wild bird feed, a great collection of bird feeders, and a super knowledgeable staff who are ready and willing to answer questions about local wildlife in the area.One of my favorite things to date has been the warranty they honor on the bird feeders. We had an issue with the screw in base of one of the bird feeders (the thread on the screw stripped). I took the feeder in, looking to get a replacement part (that I was happy to pay for), and they replaced it on the spot for no charge.Service like this is what keeps me coming back to the store year after year.

Bought some binoculars here, they have an excellent selection of high end optics. Everyone was very willing to help and legitimately interested in comparing different models. I found the pair that I was interested in on the internet for substantially less and they matched the price. Nice shop and people.

Everyone is so helpful and nice here. They knew exactly what kind of birdseed we needed. One of the gentlemen, tried to upsell stuff we weren't looking for (he didn't really listen to what we wanted). But we asked someone else who was super helpful and even gave us a little bag of bird food for free, so we could see if the birds would eat it. They did! He knew exactly what seed we needed for the birds near us. They have all sorts of feeders, baths, books, binoculars, bird food, gifts for birders, bird guides. There are several bird feeders outside of the shop, too, which is a great example of how they work. I love this place!

Wild Birds of Novato is a great place for backyard bird enthusiasts. We have shopped there for years. They carry live mealworms, and we feed the western bluebirds that nest in our backyard. Too much fun! Thanks for all your helpful advise!

I am not a 'bird person', but wanted to set up a feeder. WBU has great knowledge, friendly, and very helpful. They send coupons for both food and other products, which given the new flock in the yard, is nice.
