I have never had my Shi tzu mix groomed better than I have at this petco location. His head has never looked more adorable. He's a little nervous and twitchy, but they are patient and soothing, and willing to spend a little extra time. Just can't say enough good things.

Petco told us to find another groomer for our 10 lb dog. Only had them do shampoo, ear cleaning and nails clipped. They said she was too nervous.

Benny had a bath and haircut at PetCo in Novato, Ca. 8/14/2023. The young lady did a great job and Benny was calm and happy to see me. I will ask for her in the future. Thank you.

I am a very understanding person when it comes to retail. I have worked in retail so I always try to be polite and patient. The manager was not understanding of my bad experience from the manager in the grooming area. This is the second time she’s been rude to me. Other manager didn’t feel helpful at all. The cash register workers and groomers are always nice. They are appreciated. Won’t be returning to this location anymore.

I know how hard it is to groom my little Eddi and I can't do it. They are so patient and kind to each dog and seem to know them. The girls praise each dog and let the owners know how the dog did. They are the best!3/17/20 Justine groomed my little toy poodle and did such a terrific job and is so calm and kind to doggies as well as parents. Petco has always been the best buy around in all ways. Thank You.

I travel from Santa Rosa to the Novato Petco (30 miles each way) because of the great care and service that the staff there gives.

One of the women working in this department were so rude. I made an appointment and I showed up and told me my dog would be in a kennel for 3 hours because they have to go to lunch in 45 minutes. I asked if I could give them her toy since she would be in the kennel for awhile and she said no.. I just did not like the vibe I was getting from the groomers and i honestly was really scared to leave my dog there but she needed her nails trimmed. i paid $10 extra to have them buffed and they were still jagged. I am just really not happy with my experience here and I probably won’t be coming back...

Lately, very bad service, you make an appointment a month in advance, they cancel on the same day and they give you an appointment for the next day, you arrive and they don't have time to cut your hair, only bathing and cleaning your hair, very bad service, I've been with the salon for 18 months but This will be the last time to look for a new salon for my dog.
