I trust this vet with my animals - I wish I knew the doctor’s name, but he is so caring and has helped my cats get back to full health when they’ve been sick. I recommend this place :-)

Trujillo will lie to you he said my dog cancer was spreading it really brought me down mentally... i took him to another vet got xrays there is no signs of cancer i brought several dogs/cats here my list is endless but will not be returning here. here are some photos with no cancerHis solution was to either amputate his leg or to put him to sleep. I took my dog Chucho to JH animal hospistal and dr kim really helped me. Once i told the nurse what if i take my dog to mexico which i didnt her expression changed this hospital and santa fe animal hospital are same thing here theu did my dog surgery over they lied to me. Hope you rot. You can pictures of my dog happy now and some xrays with no cancer

I have been taking my dog Bruno to this hospital since 2014, and let me tell you, he could not be in better hands. Dr. Trujillo is amazing and extremely professional. Robert has also helped me several times and he is great too! The hospital is always very clean, and the staff has always been very very helpful. Thank you After Hours Team!

We have 3 dogs and have been going to this vet for years because the doctor is friendly and we've had good experiences with him. Robert is also great.The receptionists are rude and not helpful at all. The are not professional on the phone or in person. They give conflicting information. Nelly and Anna have the worst attitudes there.I've already spoken with Robert about the issue but unfortunately it's time to find a new vet.It's sad to say, but if they do not change the issues with the employees, they will only keep losing clients.

less than 1 star if possible, took my 10 month old pup in and only over seen him never touched him, took his temperature listen t his chest/lungs nothing, just 4 shots and wrote 4 scripts to take home, which paid for 4 received 3 only!! sad story short after $400 paid next day took to another vet in La Mirada , and had my dog rushed as temp was 107 and bad shape, keep overnight and passed away!do not take your pet here please do not they are not good for pets only like your money!

I love this place, I'd like to set the record straight on the walk in policy its only for Vaccines not to be seen by the Doctor. I've taken the majority of my animals here and have had no issues. They are reliable and highly informative on what your pets need. Just had my cat neutered and he is healing up nicely. Nelly is my favorite person to deal with there, I never feel pressured or like my pets aren't in good hands. She's always got a smile on her face and a great attitude she definitely deserves raise.

So upset with their grooming lady, I've been their costumer since my dog was a puppy. Today she was careless on her nail trimming. Never back again! What upset me more is that they gave her back to me like that! still bleeding! as soon I noticed on the car, I went back and she was trying to blame it on the cage the put her after the bath. When clearly she cut her nails badly. Never again!

This place is my go to because it’s close by. They create their own hours and lock up before normal business hours. Don’t go close to closing cause they are probably already closed.

very disappointed, this place just wants your money. I brought my dog in for allergies in March and called again in August to get a refill because my dog is having allergy problems again and they will not refill medication because they want him seen again. Not sure why they want to see him if doctor just saw him 5 months ago. Disappointed that these places don't care about the animals just the money :(

This place is top knotch.. They helped my Marlie cross the rainbow bridge Feb 26th. My Marlie is home now.. 24 days later.. she is in a beautiful box and they included a beautiful card and her paw print.. Thank You.. we will see you soon for our other fur babies..Greg & Margie L.

The vet was very very nice. You can tell he really cares for animals. The lady who took my money at the end was nice as well. The rest of the staff is completely unprofessional and rude. They are young immature people who don't know anything about customer service. The skinny guy who is a tech was extremely rude and pushy trying to rush me to make a very important decision about my dog's treatment. Besides the fact that they are open late....this place is horrible. They need better staff.

I bring my cat and dog here for their treatment and I love the staff. Doctor Torres is great with my dog who is iffy about new people. I can tell he really loves animals and is very informative and helpful. I like to call ahead to see if there's a better time to bring my pets in. The doctor is very through with check ups and they're very up front with pricing so you know what you're looking at in terms of price. I highly recommend this place.

I brought my little 7 week old pug puppy here for a check up bc he had thrown up a bit. The vet staff was extraordinary and could see the worry in my eyes but assured me it was okay and I could ask any questions. I felt very comfortable and the prices are good. Only thing people may not like is that it’s walk in only, no appointment. But that was perfect for me because every other vet told me I couldn’t come in until several days later and I was so glad I could come here. I will be returning for his shots and every other check up to assure the well being of my pup. Thank you again!

This place is so unprofessional and super overpriced. I called multiple times to set up an appointment but no one answers and when they do they give an attitude and have no available appointments. Based on how unprofessional the people here are I wouldn’t recommend taking your animal here. They most likely don’t have patience for animals either.

Solely based on receptionist's attitude:I just called 3/6 at 5:22pm and some receptionist answered. She was rude.All I asked was how much neutering my kitty would cost, in preparation for when he reaches the appropriate age and she's like "Well he is too young." in a smart aleck tone and I, in response said, Well, obviously I know that, I just wanted to know the cost. I should've just hung up on her instead of wasting my time. Our fur babies should not be around this negativity.

The day had come to put our dog to sleep. We have to praise this office and their staff. They could not have been more compassionate and caring. The tech that carried her in was so gentle and kind with her. The staff was professional and efficient in collecting the information. They prepared her and allowed us time to say our good-byes. The doctor was extremely compassionate both with our dog and with us, understanding our grief and trauma. I would recommend this office to anyone with full faith that their pet and client would be treated with the utmost respect and professionalism.

This is a terrible place to take your pet unless you have a lot of money. The vet overcharges for services and is rude. I took my cat here because he was limping. I could not get an appointment with his regular vet until the following week.The vet assistant showed no compassion to my cat. My cat was nervous. The vet acted like he didn't want to touch my cat. He was not friendly at all.I had trouble bringing up a coupon on Yelp. The receptionist worked with me an hour trying to get it to redeem. The vet still would not honor the coupon.They were supposed to give me antibiotics. The vet charged me the price for antibiotics but gave me cheaper pain pills. I didn't get an itemized receipt. It is not worth it to argue and get the correct pills.I asked to pay for part of the treatment and to come back and pay for more at a later date. He refused. He was also intimidating. He was pressuring me to pay. He threatened that he would not treat my cat at all.

It's unbelievable to me that people will stay at a job we're they're unhappy. So what happens is they become rude without realizing it. It's unnecessary and upsetting. Being a paying customer I shouldn't have to deal with employees attitude for no reason. It's almost sad that I had to be the one to act professional. I took my dog for his shots. I wasn't comfortable at all and either with my dog. I see no point in having cameras in that hospital if all they do is disrespect paying customers and mistreat our pet's.

Staff was amazing. Their initial consultation fee was only $35. 1/3 of the cost of other centers. Immediately took my sick puppy in. I highly recommend. And I drove the staff crazy looking for my keys which I left in the car. But they helped search.

DO NOT take your pet here, they don’t care at all. They are just there to make money and the vet doesn’t seem to care about the animals. I’ve been taking my dog here when she came as a puppy and while I had been wanting to discuss everything with the vet, he would just come in and leave in a rush. My dogs tooth broke once and there was a lot of blood and when I called them they didn’t care at all and wouldn’t even try to help me. They just told me to take her to urgent care even though urgent care was telling me to take her to her primary vet. I was so stressed in that situation and I told afterhours hospital on call that they didn’t care at all for my dog and when I said out of anger and helplessness ‘what am I supposed to do if my pet is dying’ , the receptionist replied in a mocking and quirky tone ‘if she’s dying you take her to urgent care’ I ended the call right there and immediately switched my vet to one that has shown they are passionate about all their clients no matter what.

Great Vet. I have insurance with Banfield and due to never having immediate appointments, I always go here and pay out of pocket for the services. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It's not fancy or has any bells and whistles (still on paper charting) but it is affordable and the quality of services is the same or better than the national competitors.

My family in the past has taken all of our dogs to be seen here but today on 1/09/22 @ 11:25am I called and s/w a very rude old lady who placed me on hold (understandable) but came back to the line and I clearly heard her there and still hung up my call. When I called back I told her I clearly heard her and she hung up my call she did not apologize and I asked her if she was having a bad day and her response was" not yet" I explained to her my cat is ill and needs to be seen right away. My cat is having difficulty breathing and she did not have no sympathy for my cat and stated he could not be seen till Monday 1/10/22.I told her how is that if this a hospital for pets this is not just a pet he is just like a person who feels the same way we do. She still did not have no sympathy and was very rude and did not care was never courteous at all. People like her should not be working in a place where we as people take our pet's who are family to us could imagine the care they give them there??? The owner should have better judgement who works for him. They are a reflection of himself as well and that should speak volumes!!!!! Horrible place and I didn't even have to step into that office to experience their horrible customer service I experienced it over the phone and that was enough!!!

My Dad went on a Easter Sunday, mind you he is senior citizen in his 80's who has a limited income, and loves his doggy, but they still charged my poor dad $500 , and referred him to another clinic, which is bs they should have refunded at 1/2 his money back , the other place wanted 150 just to walk in to get seen!! This is so wrong !! They said work with u, he is senior, and on a fixed income, they took advantage of him because of his love for his doggy, shame on u! U should have refunded it if u weren't going to help him,

Best doctors! Came in with my dog who seem to have fever and was really weak. Found out what it was and she had to have surgery /: they made her strong enough to withstand surgery and they didn't give up on her. Now here we are in our 1st check and hopefully in a few weeks stitches will be removed. Thank you guys! Our family member gets be with us longer (: #great prices #affordable #poofsurvives

This place has excellent customer service and a well trained staff. Went in with a cat having seizures after waiting hours to be denied being seen at above and beyond vet clinic, and these guys squeezed me in due to severety and helped get my cat the right kidney food as well as helping to calm me down in a horrible time of panic.I would highly recommend this veterinarians office.

I called and explained that we are a military family and that we are moving to Hawaii from New York and are required to have a Health Certificate for our dog 10 days prior to travel. we had everything done that we could in New York EXCEPT the Health Certificate as it’s required 10 days prior to travel and we are here now. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem and to come in between 12:30-1:30 the following day. We showed up 15 minutes early in case there was paperwork we were required to fill out. Fine. I filled out the paperwork. I was then told the Vet would be with us as soon as he could. Fine. Half an hour later the Vet came in to tell my husband that he doesn’t do Health Certificates for dogs going to islands anymore because he had sent a family members dog to New Zealand and it was a lot of work. He said that there was a lot more required than a health certificate and he didn’t want us to be disappointed so he referred us to another veterinary clinic?!?!??! My husband tried to explain that ALL we needed was a health certificate as we had already done everything else we could before we left New York.Moving across the country with your pets is stressful enough. Moving to Hawaii IS stressful. There are a million hoops to jump through and this experience added to our stress. Not only was it unprofessional but I suggest you talk to your receptionists about the services you offer to avoid wasting anyone else’s time!

Super friendly staff and really clean.Also very affordable for an office opened this late. Absolutely loved it! They took care of my pet right away, no need to have an appointment. I will definitely bring my pets here from now on.

I called here very last minute and they happily informed me that if I made it in 30 min they'd take a look at my dog. I may have took longer because I walked to the hospital crying carrying my dog but they right away were concerned and walked me into a room. I explained in tears that it seemed my dog was experiencing pain on his left paw. The nurse made me feel so comfortable as I filled out paper work shaking & crying.The doctor came in checked my dog asked questions and made a diagnosis and he gave me so many options. Will gladly come back. Thank you for dealing with my crazy crying and my dog.😇
