I had a prescription not covered by my plan. The pharmacist helped me find a discount that saved me money. In another case Medicare showed that I wouldn't be covered for a prescription. They helped clear this up, even calling my doctor. They are busy and overworked. Take a little time, ask for help. They are great.

No customer service. Wrong and missing prescription tracking and refills. Rude and disrespectful customer service from Pharmacy staff and constant turn over in Pharmacists. I had to move all my families medications to another place after several years of frustration. Reported it and made complaints but nothing changes. Nipomo deserves better than this.

Wonderful pharmacy, my order is ready every month. I love how they send a message that you have prescriptions to fill. So just have to call and tell them and when. Also they have a nice variety of merchandise. Staff is so nice and thoughtful.

I have a beef with CVS. I used the Santa Maria store for years and I was happy with them. I moved and started using the SLO branch. They short changed me on my prescription and would not give me all of my medicine. I use an insulin pen and they would not give a partial box at the SLO branch as they had done in Santa Maria for years. So, I would run out and not have enough for the whole month and they charged me the copay for a whole month's supply. I was forced to use the Nipomo branch this time, but I will never use CVS again.

If you want to be treated like a human and have your prescriptions filled in a timely manor DON'T GO HERE! I honestly don't want to give them any stars. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I've never been treated so badly by a pharmacy as I have here. I've been hung up on by the pharmacist and It took them over 48 hours to refill a prescription my doctor had called in. I will be changing pharmacy!!

I went to get my disposable camera developed. Found out a CVS employee gave my pictures to the wrong customer. I found this out because the person who received the wrong photos had my personal information and contacted me.CVS still can’t manage to get me my photos. It’s been over three weeks. It’s very inconvenient -I talked to the G.M who was also rude and dismissive about the issue. Stating it has never happened before. Regardless if it has happened or not she should’ve found a solution to the problem. That is her main job as a G.M. Keeping her customers satisfied.I hope they all work on their service.

If I could leave zero stars I would!! My mother showed up with a prescription an hour before closing because she has a very serious Pneumonia. They told her to come back in 30 minutes so we did, then they tell us they can't fill it until the next day at noon. Absolutely ridiculous and absurd. She was depending on an inhaler, antibiotics and steroids and now will have to sleep through the night with none of those things!! Worst pharmacy ever. You're better off using the Pharmacy in Vons.

Today, my husband and I went to this CVS for a senior flu shot! I prepared by signing up for an appointment ahead of time! When we got to the cashier, I was told my bill was $67.00 and that my insurance did not cover it! I questioned the cashier and she told me I would need to get back in other line to find out! Since we have had terrible service at this pharmacy before, we left! We went there because my MD does not have the senior type of vaccine! I find that odd since our little town is mainly seniors! I called my insurance, I have supplementary drug coverage besides Medicare, and they found out that CVS had not even run my card! I was instructed how to make sure that this would not happen again and to go to a different vendor!We changed to Rexall more than a year ago and have had no problems with them ! Unfortunately, they do not provide flu shots!I advise patients to boycott this pharmacy as they are the worst vendor! Even my insurance contact supported this opinion! They are more expensive than Rexall and question prescription orders as well!

I will no longer send my patients to this pharmacy. There is one pharmacist in particular who seems to have made it his life mission to be a miserable person and make everyone else miserable. I've had consistent problems with patient prescriptions here. They seem incapable of following the most routine prescription instructions. AVOID this pharmacy at all costs. I will be steering all of my patients away from this nightmare facility.

Pharmacist Luong Nguyen refused to give me a COVID vaccine that I had scheduled. First she said because I went to Rite Aid previously I had to go there again. She then said she needed the physical card. Which I offered to get from my car. She then said they ran out. (I called earlier in thr day and they told me we have plenty make an appointment online by a different person in the pharmacy) So im confused as to why I was able to get an appointment, then she gave me different reasons as to why she did not want to help me. How are people suppose to protect themselves from Covid, if people are setting barriers like Mrs Nguyen.

My Mothers very important pain meds have taken days over to refill because they're "backed up" all the time. prices are very high and product is never pristine. I got the dirtiest look ever from the manager there today just walking inside. (yes I was following all covid mandates). many times I have bought fluffy socks or stuffed animals (that come in limited quantity anyways) that have strings loose, cheap stitching, and GIANT holes. special hello kitty valentine plushies were in stock this week and I came in to find only ONE left. I asked if there were more and the woman walking the front gave me a look and said "no that's it" without offering a possible restock or alternative or even being nice. looking over it I noticed faulties and huge rips and asked if there is any kind of discount possible, the woman again told me very rudely that if I do not want the product like this they are more than happy to send it back to the supplier and get their own money back for it. I was waiting in line quite a long time to ask the front desk woman if it would be possible to hold the item so I could cross the street to my bank, and the other woman stepped up to me right as I finally reached cashier and asked for it instead. she seemed mad, said there wasn't a specific place to put hold items but held it for me anyways. I was gone for ten minutes and upon returning noticed new strings pulled and holes made behind the ears even worse than the ones I originally found and have to fix now. I feel like she did it on purpose and feel uncomfortable shopping there feeling targeted. also I understand if you can't do anything about stock or holding but why can't they talk to me like you would every other customer.

This store is absolutely disgusting! Store just opened for the day and carpet throughout the entire store looks like it has not been vacuumed in about a month. Dirt, peanut shells etc. I was supposed to get a flu shot and walked out. If you can’t keep your store clean, then I don’t trust you to stick a needle in my arm.

This place is so bad. It is almost a joke. We have had our insurance mandate mail prescriptions but when the pharmacy tries to get CVS to transfer the Rx they just ignore them. Then I made an appointment for a Covid shot but when I arrived at the appointment time the pharmacist went to lunch. They have lied about not receiving faxes from doctors in the past also. Their prices are a bit high. So go to Walmart or the Rexall across the street.

Consistent issues with this location. It’s like an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway, where accurate timeframes don’t exist and customer satisfaction doesn’t matter.Prescriptions are always late, very poorly staffed/run. They also prioritize vaccine administration over filling prescriptions, causing significant delays.

This is the worst CVS and one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever been to. Their pharmacy is completely incompetent and messed up my prescription EVERY MONTH. They need to learn to read the prescriptions off the compute correctly. Plus they take forever and don’t even seem apologetic when they mess up a prescription. Too bad I don’t have a choice. My only other choice is Vons and they take even longer and don’t have as much in stock. Nipomo is a pharmacy wasteland!

I've been a customer of CVS for a very long time. I am from Illinois and the CVS there in Bloomington was amazing. This CVS in Nipomo is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. I put off leaving this review hoping it was just a bad day for them. Then I thought okay, maybe it was just a bad month, however I have been here 10 times at this point and every visit has been terrible. They are extremely understaffed and the lines are very long. You end up standing in one line then being told to stand in another and then going back to the first line because the staff is so limited in what they can each do. Even the phone calls I make take 30 mins or more to be able to talk to someone.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I've only been here 6 months and I've waited days or weeks for every script I get....and no text or calls even after telling them about the problem. Im waiting for an important med for 2 weeks now. And it's not even narcotic!!!!Stay away or change pharmacies asap.

This pharmacy is a joke! Wait times take forever. If you are in a hurry, don't bother. I always get text notifications when my meds are ready. There is a lack of follow through from the text to wherever in internet land it goes. They sent me asking if I wanted to refill a prescription 3 times. All 3 times I said NO! and what do they do. The filled it anyway after I specifically said no.

They are overwhelmed and poorly managed. Waited 20 mins in drop off line and then an hour and a half in pick up line for a medication that was supposed to be refilled automatically. They never have my prescriptions in their system despite my doctors best efforts.

One does not simply walk into CVS pharmacy and pick up a prescription. Even if you’re on auto fill- they won’t ever fill it on time. I’m three days late on my BC and antidepressants, simply because my prescription has been “in process” of being filled for the last 48hrs. They say they are short staffed but I believe they are honestly trying to kill off the sick people in Nipomo. They truly do not care about the people who need their medicine ASAP. Inhaler? Heart medication? FORGET IT! Choose another pharmacy and save yourself some energy, we are already sick for Christ’s sake.

I am completely disappointed with this pharmacy. I am currently number 10 in line. They have consistently not had meds ready even when they send text saying it is. We have had meds that are only half filled several times. With all the bad reviews you would think corporate would make an effort to make improvements .

If you have to be on any medication with a time-sensitive window DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY. They do not track their activities or hold their own staff accountable. I decided it best to transfer my medications to Costco than to set this place on fire. SAVE YOURSELVESSSSS

This place is horrible. I sent my persecution here to pick up and the lady told me she had nothing and was extremely rude. I came back hours later and she still hadn’t filled it told me I had to wait 30 minutes because she never took my insurance. Very unprofessional and I’ve never been treated so poorly at a pharmacy. I didn’t catch the ladies name at the drive through window but she is a middle aged lady with brown hair. Definitely will not be going back here.

Worst pharmacy ever! Was prescribed amoxicillin on Tuesday afternoon and went to go pick it up about 30 minutes later. Was told that it would be a 20-25 minute wait. Since I live nearby, I opted to not wait. Got a phone call about three hours later saying that they didn’t have enough of THE most commonly prescribed antibiotic IN THE WORLD to fill my order. They said that it was almost past the cutoff time to order more for the next day and said they’d call me when it was ready and would expedite my order. Not quite sure how they didn’t figure out that they were short after the 25 minutes I was originally told. So glad I didn’t wait! Wednesday came and went, no call. Thursday I still didn’t receive a call but figured it shouldn’t take two whole days to fill a very common prescription especially since it was expedited on two days prior. I was wrong. I was told that they were very behind and it would be a two hour wait at least. I asked for my order to be transferred to a different pharmacy and was told to go to the “Drop Off” window. At the drop off window I was told that I had to call another pharmacy and have them call to get the order transferred. Almost every time I’ve been to this pharmacy, there has been a huge line.

No one seems to know what they are doing and no one cares about doing a good job! Went here for a Covid booster. Unfortunately, they told me were not approved to give it. Drove immediately to Santa Maria and received the booster from the CVS on N. Broadway. They are either uninformed, or perhaps the CDC feels they are too incompetent to administer the Covid booster.

Terribly slow turnaround time! Not sure what has happened in the past few years, but customer service has gone down the drain at this once good pharmacy. Prescriptions take forever to fill! Please hire more people!

The people in this pharmacy are borderline rude on the phone. They act like you are bothering them if you have a question.A decent manager should understand the concept of ‘customer service’ and demand it of staff
