My husband and I stopped by on our way back home to AZ a few months ago and just now getting around to a review. Super neat shop with unique art pieces! Bought a sticker, a necklace, and a keychain. The owner was so chill and welcoming and we’ll definitely stop by again on our next trip out! Thanks again!

Picked up a couple rings Jimmie James had made last month. They were outstanding. Jimmie has a wealth of knowledge about Slab City and he is is also an Entomologist. Thanks for taking the time to chat Jimmie. Don't miss this place on your visit, it's the first store on the right as you enter SC.

This is my favorite little shop in all slabs. Jimi is always in good spirits, very helpful, and has some very beautiful and unique items in his shop. Stop in and tell him jinxy says "hello!"

I bought a soda can wind mobile from Jimmie James.He was super courteous and had a variety of handmade art available for purchase. I've had my mobile out in a strong wind,and it works perfectly and appears to be holding up with no troubles.Very well made.

an old man, his friend, a sweet dog named Mezza, and some funky little junk-turned-treasure handmade wares to buy--that about sums it up. if you're going to come visit salvation mountain/the slabs/etc., don't be an a-hole: donate $ or buy something here and spend a few minutes talking to the full-timers in the area so you will be connecting with/supporting this small community rather than just using it as a social media photo backdrop.
