We searched far and wide for 1lb propane camping canisters during a national shortage before making a desperate stop at this seemingly humble store. Despite low expectations of a fruitful visit, we stopped anyways. However, after finding a bullet shell in the parking lot, I knew this would be the place. The shelves were full of propane and we walked away satisfied.

They have a surprising amount of stuff in this store! You will likely find everything you need for any small project or repair job around the house. Staff is very friendly and helpful so you won't spend hours looking through aisles of inventory.

Lake Builder Supply (Ace Harware) in Nice Doesn't have a large selection; but they do tend to have what you will need for your home maintenance needs. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Also. The prices are fair.

My nearest & most frequented outfit. I go nearly every other day.Mostly because staff are kind & helpful. They tolerate me spending all day just staring at shelves while my 3yr old girl runs amok & I leave spending 5 bucks. 1 star down due to it being a small store & aimed at the home user, w/little to no specialized items for advanced hobbyists. Their hours are a little restrictive too, though not for Nice I guess. So 5 stars when they stock more metalwork stuff & do welding gases, maybe open/close later & do it EVERY DAY.

I just brought my old plumbing pieces in and the store lady sold me parts not like what I had and said it would work . I got home, glued the pieces together and installed them to my shower just to find out the pieces she sold me are just smaller enough that my drain pipe wouldn't fit. Then she refused to make good on it. Never go here again!!!!

People there are really helpful and nice good place to shop however today took a part back for a refund and they refused to give my money back had a receipt now will no longer shop there

For a small store they have a lot of amatory. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for something simple and fast.

This place is getting really bad. The employees there are uninterested in customer service. Not knowledgeable.Seems as if they just want to sell you something especially if it doesn't work.I don't agree with this place any longer.

A decent small town Hardware Store that adequately serves the homes that surround it. Now , of course they don't have some of the bigger pieces of wood but they seem to have enough selections to tackle most small repairs
