The staff is usually nice and very helpful. The stock is hit and miss as there are several items that are out of stock. The reason it is rated so low is because of the one working register. I value my free time to highly to wait in a line for 20 minutes every time I shop there.

Depends on what day you go in. Just after a shipment the isles are very cluttered & its hard to get around with a basket. Offers good deals. Staff is usually friendly.

It is worth the time and fuel to shop elsewhere. Very poorly managed. Hostile staff. Many examples of deceptive price labeling every time I have visited. They take advantage of the less-abled. This area deserves better. F-

Nice store in Nice. Recently reconfigured, the store has room for an abundant supply og varied goods and supplies. Checkout was easy, but.inconvenient. Staff was generally professional and pleasant. I've started shopping there more regularly. The best quality is in the fact that they are open until 11pm, an hour later than most all stores on the Northeast side of Clear Lake.

The re-model looks wonderful! They have expanded the cooler section so there is alot more to choose from. They will start selling fruits and vegetables this coming week also. Excellent

This is one of the only three stores we have in Nice and it is the worse managed store I've ever seen. Their shelves are empty but clear up on the very top of the shelves there are boxes of products that need to be put out on the shelves but it doesn't get done. Hire more help & get your shelves stocked.

I love finding the things that the main store aren't pushing but I know are better for my health and the world. Like dark chocolate that has the fair trade symbols being easier to find. The only reason I give 3 stars is because of all the CCP products I have to walk past.

It's a little overwhelming how much they can cram into such a little store. Don't visit if you're claustrophobic, but if you just need a few quick supplies, they'll probably have it. What I like is that and you can get in and out really quick and not feel like you're overpaying for your purchases!

I love your new store. The cashiers are a lot friendlier than they were. When they packed my bags they had frozen food in three different bags. I am 81 and I put away frozen stuff first, then take my time with the rest Putting all the heavy cans in one bag is also hard for me. I know they are young and don't think about it, but they will one day

I like the deals, different cute little stuff they have and the location. I dont like that it always seems pretty messy. The parking lot is always dirty with trash and thrown out masks etc. While i understandthat they are usually short handed and slammed with people i feel that any business should stay respectable looking no matter what. HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

There was a big sign out front of store stating CASH ONLY. I double checked with cashier too. I only had my card so I went to another dollar general in Santa Rosa. Not everybody carries cash all the time.

I've generally had a lot of issues with this store. Today, a newer (I think) employee couldn't seem to get it together to handle my order. The line here is always long. They need more cashier's. They need more stockers... Too many times I go and find that they don't have the shelf restocked.I appreciate the idea of saving money but is the savings worth the hassle? You be the judge!

All went well. The lines are long. No where to put merchandise on counter to check out items..Leaving you to check receipt to make sure you were not priced twice. As being checked out with limited space is no fun . Better organized would be fabulous, not just in the food aisles.

It is what is advertised. I like the digital coupons, adds on to the savings. In my opinion they have good household items, and badic otc medicines, generic coffee and such. It is a nice place to go for quick emergency grocery trips. However it doesn't have fresh produce and there isn't a whole lot of selection. One kind of sliced bread, one kind of milk, that sort of thing. It's not a huge building and they do pack it to brim. Sometimes crowded aisles.

Just opening basicaly a wide variety of items . From food to hardware, party supplies, gifts, holiday specialty items, kitchen supplies, cleaning products. This store pretty much has everything but nothing is high end. Lots of items including school supplies. You name it you can find it or something close to it. Cosmetics also.

I enjoy shopping at our local Dollar general because it is "OUR" Dollar General that hires folks from our community, and stocks the things our families and friends use. It has a local business appeal for such a large corporate franchise. That's a rare achievement as corperates go.

The Dollar General in Nice, California, leaves much to be desired when it comes to keeping their merchandise stocked! I haven't been to the one in Lucerne, California, but will be checking it out. If they do NOT have the same problem, I WILL be taking my business there. Otherwise, I will be taking it elsewhere. In conclusion, WHY should we allow D.G. to open another store, in Upper Lake, California, if they are UNABLEto keep it stocked? Well, I guess one reason is that it keeps the numerous THIEVES busy and off MY property!😁

I go to Dollar General for my essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc... but they carry a vast amount of products like home decor, toys, medicines, clothing and food. It's not like a Dollar store where everything is a Dollar and some of the prices are comparible with Wal-Mart but if you're in a rush it's convenient

A Dollar General is always a great place to shop for the basic things you need and a few things you don't. My experience with Dollar General located in Westwood California it was a little bit more costly than a dollar. I understand the Dollar Generals don't have just dollar items but these seem to be a little bit more pricey but there was plenty selection of product and they had friendly Clerks. Though they do have a captured audience there is no other place to shop for groceries in Westwood. Let me say that Westwood is a very friendly community located in the mountains just 13 miles outside of Chester California. 😎

All kinds of goods in there. I aspecially find that the infant and toddlers section is convenient for shopping. And for the holidays, well the variety of stuff is large. Small, but loaded.
