Given there are not many places you can eat around this area, this restaurant is a fine option to satiate hunger. Surprisingly a lot of options to choose from and the food is good. Quick service, reasonably priced. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. However only a few designated parking spots are available, but lots of roadside parking.

The perfect dinner stop on the way home after spending a day enjoying nature in Point Reyes! We enjoyed fresh Tamales Bay oysters, melted Nicasio cheese, fish tacos, ribs, and mudpie. The space is spacious with a bar, indoor, and outdoor seating plus space for events. We also saw a schedule for live music! The service was excellent - very welcoming and warm without being too much.

What a gem this place is! All the staff was amazingly kind, happy, and helpful. We can't wait to go back! The music venue is just the happiness we all need. Thank you for what you give to the community and for how kindly you deliver it. The Illeagles are what drew us here and we are thankful for our awesome memories. My son is autistic and your venue was just right for him to enjoy the concert and get groovy on the dance floor. Bless you all.

Do yourself and stop here. Salads were wonderful, crab cakes, adult grilled cheese, and the artichoke were amazing and the service was fantastic. Off the path but worth it. Atmosphere was quiet and fun and just beautiful.Kid-friendliness: Daughter loved it. Rolled around on grass and played and jumped everywhere. Good stop on a long road trip and she loved the food.

We came for Sunday Brunch and sat on the patio. Delicious! We enjoyed the Fried Green Tomatoes, Fish and Chips, Eggs Benedict, Heirloom Tomatoe Salad .Be sure to try a pint of the Blind Pig IPA from Russian River Brewing Co. Two thumbs up! We plan to come back again and again.

I love this place! Been going there 15 years. No snobs. Great food and.music. Saw the LlEagles last weekend with prime rib. Staff has been there along time. They're too happy to leave. Daytime bartender, Nasso, well loved almost 20 years.Parking: This place is in the country. There is a lot. Outside the building parking. They accommodate quite a crowd sometimes. Other times a nice bar or bar room table is a quieter time. Many locals there. Mostly ranchers. 66

Great place for brunch or for stopping while on a motorcycle ride. Very relaxing atmosphere, old time bar inside and beautiful nature around you when you sit on the deck outside. Vegan options on the menu!!!

I've enjoyed visiting Rancho Nicasio for over twenty years. The drive is easily worth it for the live music. This time I returned for their summertime series, BBQ on the lawn. Along with great music there is BBQ and a full bar outside. You can also get food and drinks inside. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, with a friendly neighbourhood ambiance. Comfortable booths and interesting decor complement the great cocktail and drinks menu.

We were out for a Sunday drive when we came upon Rancho Nicasio R&B. It is situated out in the middle of what appears to be nowhere. Actually, it is about the center of Marin county. There was an musical event going on outside, but we didn't have tickets. So, we decided to check out the bar. Looking at the animals on the wall, I thought this place must been around for 100 years, however, the original hotel burned in the 40s, so the bar is newer than I thought. We decided to try their Tomales Bay Oysters, and Calamari Fritti - - they were both yummy! We also had a drink from the bar. The bartender was friendly and gave us good service! And I had a fun time running around the bar taking pictures! If you're vegetarian, all the animals on the wall might freak you out. The bartender said that there used to be six times as many animals on the wall.It looked like people are having a great time at the event in the back of the property. You can check online to see what else is available is season. The tickets seemed pretty reasonable, too. If you live in the bay area, it is not that far of a drive. After having a bite at Rancho Nicasio we went for a hike!

A perfect "lost in time" venue, tucked away in rural Marin. You can hear great live music from local, regional and national performers, eat some legit BBQ, and chill in the open air. Friendly people all around you, and definitely good people watching if that's your thing. Get there early to grab a good seat, or bring your low back chairs. Convivial. Bob Brown who owns/co-owns it, is a decent guy all the performers declare. A rare gem of a place. Check it out 👍👍

Love this place!! The outside BBQ venue is terrific. And can't get enough of the live music played there. Saw both Petty Theft and The IIIEagles rock that place. Super Fun🎸

Cool little small town stop with a store, restaurant, farm and post office all in one. We stopped at the store for a sandwich and the fries were bomb. Didn’t really like the porta potty though ☹️

This is a wonderful venue for dancing. The dance floor is in good condition and is quite large. I was impressed by the servers and other help. They were around at all times to serve dinner and clean up afterwards.

Picturesque views and friendly staff make Rancho Nicasio a good spot to stop for a drink whether you are on two or four wheels. They converted the yard area from an event venue to an open space with tables that allow you to social distance but also promotes friendly conversation with fellow travelers.

Fabulous food, FANTASTIC LIVE MUSIC By Achilles Wheel Trio & incredible service. Felt very welcomed & loved our evening.Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed to play right by table, as there was room. Most of time they were under table, with us. Kids & us were very happy!

This is worth a drive to, classic American to the core! I would of loved to have a night out here, but only lunched. Doesn't look a lot from outside, but it's very Tardis like 😎

I found the food to be mediocre. The barbecue wasn’t anything special and the ribs were very dry. This location is excellent for atmosphere and when I went inside to get a couple of drinks, the bar tender where is very responsive, so I’m sure the service is good we were here for an outdoor concert which was a lot of fun and it’s very popular.
