I have never had a bad experience with Eugene, I find him to be nice and friendly. I have never seen him be rude to anyone. Sometimes people are rude first and need a little stern talking to. I like the personal service and they let me know if they need to check on a medication with my insurance to be sure it's covered. I have gotten my Flu shots there for a few years now, that has been convenient. Only thing is, sometimes, only sometimes it takes a few hours for something to be ready, but it's to be expected when it's very busy. Usually, I get a phone call that my prescription is ready sooner than I thought it would be. Sucks when someone who has issues is taking forever and you are waiting but if there was an express checkout for prescriptions that would solve that problem. They usually have most medications in-stock, rarely do you wait a day. Some of the long time employees (ladies) there are WONDERFUL! I hope you ladies know who you are, cause without you, I WOULDN'T shop there anymore!!! You make a big difference!

As always Rite Aid in Newman, CA never disapoints, the pharmacists are extremely helpfull. The store selection on holiday items is excellent for a small town.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to! My prescription was called in by my doctor at 1:30pm. I went in about 2pm and was told they had nothing for me. The pharmacist John flat out lied to me all day. I had to go back repeatedly while trying to pick up my medication. Each time I returned I was told my prescription had still not been received. I finally had to call my doctor, she quoted to me her conversation with John about the call and she told me who and when she spoke with the pharmacist John. I feel his license should be revoked there is no precedence to lie to a patient about their medication.

If it weren't for Mary and Eugene in the pharmacy I'd have left long ago. I mean all of the staff were exceptional, but the wait time is ridiculous. How it takes over an hour to fill one prescription is beyond me. I get it, it's busy sometimes, but they always seem to be behind. Sometimes it takes days. They're overly priced on nearly everything. And their discount rewards barely put a dent in the cost of items that are found so much cheaper at Target or Wal-Mart. Overall if you need something quickly and you're in the area they usually have most necessities. But if you can go elsewhere save yourself the money. Also if you need a script quickly, go somewhere else.

I went to the Newman store in search of firepits a friend of mine told me about as soon as I got to the store I was greeted by Terry I told her what I was looking for and she took me directly to them they were 75% off so I purchased the last two and she assisted me to my car with my purchase the great service she provided put a smile on my face.

The pharmacy gave my boyfriend a hard time when he dropped off my prescription for me because I was in alot of pain. So when I called they said it was being filled. Many hours later I went to pick it up, they did not full it because they said they needed my actual license not a pic of it which I sent my boyfriend to show them. They said it would take 5 minutes to fill so when I went back in for it they asked more questions and said i would have to wait, again. The fat blond lady have a dirty look. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to and it was my first time here. I won't be back. I'm disgusted with them and I'm in a lot of pain.

Pharmacist Eugene is the worst I've ever encountered, not only is he rude, you can wait hour's for your prescription. Once I waited two days only to find out my doctor had to get insurance pre-approval which I had to follow-up instead of the pharmacist. You guessed it! I changed pharmacy

Rite aid in newman is the worst place ever the manager is the main one messing up your prescription so make sure you check it. He is rude and it always takes hours even if you call it in to have it ready before you get there nope no way it still won't be ready and you will just be waiting for hours in their rude rite aid store. They need a new lesson on customer service badly or send secret shoppers
