My pup Severus has been going to Evergreen for years now after many other vets who I found to be inadequate for his care. Dr.Mansour has never been anything but honest with me. He and the techs have been kind towards us and respectful. The experience that Dr.Mansour shows is astounding he knows so much and is always happy to explain everything to you. He and the techs genuinely care about his patients and for that I am grateful.

I've been a loyal customer at Evergreen for over 13 years, initially with my dog Kola and now with my cat Ramsey. I consistently recommend Evergreen to friends and family due to the professionalism, honesty, and kindness of Dr. Mansour and his staff. Their commitment to sanitation, fair pricing, and gentle treatment of my pets has made them my go-to veterinary clinic.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! If you have all day to stick around for vaccines this is your place otherwise I suggest you look for another vet. They had me waiting in the lobby for over 45 minutes then I was called in to the room and waited another 30 minutes finally I just decided to walk out.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE IF YOU SEEK A PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR WITH TOTAL REGARD FOR YOUR PET AND YOU!This Doctor Mansour chose to literally be mean to my family and my dog today. I am not exaggerating. His ego and arrogance got the best of him. My husband and I were shocked by his unprofessionalism. Dr. Mansour has absolute NO REGARD for dogs. He is very tired of his job and he’s miserable, clearly. Oh my, WHAT AN EGO. Wow! To be perfectly honest, he chose to be a complete a$$hole to my husband and I on the phone today and he used his staff to do his dirty work. Here is what happened:I took my dog Susie to see Dr. Mansour one month ago. She was treated for an ear infection. I mentioned to him that he gave my previous dog a Health Certificate for International travel back in 2007. I requested that he certify my current dog to fly. He said “Sure, no problem. Where are you going?” I said Costa Rica just as before in 2007. He said, “Costa Rica is not a problem. We just need to do it within 10 days before your flight. I then made the appointment for December 11th. When I called the morning of the appointment to confirm, I asked how much it will be. They said, $817.00!!!! REALLY!? Guess how much I paid him in 2007? Only $70! I asked the receptionist why it was so much. She didn’t have an answer for me. My husband then called to ask the receptionist to ask the doctor what this amount pertains to and my husband also expressed that other places were $275 on average. She said she would speak with the doctor and call us back. GUESS WHAT SHE SAID? “The doctor said we don’t do Costa Rica anymore.” I then told her then on the phone that Dr. Mansour told me directly that Costa Rica would not be a problem and that this is not my first health certificate for this country that Dr. Mansour has handled. She said, “Sorry” and with no tone of regard for us with her tone. We fully immediately realized that he was annoyed with my we questioned his fee and decided he didn’t want to certify us because it hurt his ego. If you met him, you would KNOW and SEE that he behaves and speaks in such a manner. His act was mean. But you know, it’s okay because everything happens for a reason. I called around and found an amazing doctor that has absolutely no problem in doing so and he’s only $280 which is far cheaper that Dr. Mansour’s $817. Also, I don’t need to go alllll the way to LAX and wait for hours for a stamp by USDA like I did with Dr. Mansour. This new doctor handles it all for me. So you see everything happens for a good reason and I feel so much better. To save you the research, should you decide to travel international with your pet, go to: Warner Center Pet Clinic in Woodland Hills. I will post an update after my visit tomorrow with them.UPDATE: One month later and reflecting back on this. I ended up taking my pet to Warner Pet Clinic in Woodland Hills for an International Travel Certification and I shared in detail my experience with Evergreen. They stated, “This doctor chose not to certify your pet and that was unfortunate and unprofessional. Based on my experience, they only charged me $185 as opposed to the BS $817 that he quoted me. Warer Pet Clinic were amazing. The service was flawless and my health certificate for my dog arrived in my email in 3 days (2 days from departure). I will be returning back to them. They saved our Christmas, truly.

I was taking my Mixed-Husky dog, Apollo, to a Vet in Sylmar, which seems to be good but one day my dog got real sick with vomit and diarrhea overnight and when I saw him in the morning, he looked in bad shape. He wouldn't even eat his treat. I couldn't get an emergency appointment with the Vet. Very disappointed. Evergreen Animal Care Center offered me a same day appointment and saw my dog within hours. After some tests, my dog was diagnosted having Parvo. The Vet at Evergreen went over different options and treatments. Their treatment saved my dog and he fully recovered in a few days. I don't usually write reviews but I greatly appreciate all the help from the Vet at Evergeen and his staff who helped my dog to recover. I highly recomment this Vet as he is very good. His staff is friendly and very helpful and always try to accommodate appointments, etc. They are all very nice and good with the animals. Even that it's a longer trip from Sylmar to Newhall, I only go to Evergreen now since I know they will take good care of my dog. I would recommend Evergreen Animal Care Center to anyone that ask me.

Do NOT trust this vet. I brought my dog here 6 years ago to be spayed. I clearly remember the vet pushing for laser surgery, which I could not afford at the time because I was a student. after I told him I couldn’t pay for laser surgery, he immediately became nasty and rude. She recovered from the spay well, however, I recently found out the vet placed internal METAL sutures to close her incision site. I found this out because she had an X-ray recently at her new vet and the vet was shocked to see them. Her current vet told me metal sutures are not typically used and have not been used as the preferred suture for over 15 years. Metal sutures placed because this greedy vet wanted to do the cheapest job he could possibly do. The metal sutures stay forever and have a risk for infection. I am absolutely livid about this finding and it comes to show how stingy, greedy, and uncaring this vet is. Avoid this monster for the sake of your pet, go to another clinic that actually cares about animals and using STANDARD practice to care for them. Not someone who wants to save a few bucks and up charge you for his lazy job. After reading many other reviews from pet owners on mistreatment of their pets, this monster that calls himself a vet needs to have his license revoked. Reviews from months to years ago come to show his consistency in mistreating animals. Disgusting behavior from someone who is supposed to care for animals.

If I could give a lower rating I would. Just today my chihuahua passed of a seizure and the staff was not sympathetic at all to my daughter when she called them for help on how to help our dog. They spoke to her as if she should have already known what to do when not everyone deals with these issues on the daily. They also failed to let my daughter know ahead of time that they didn't have what they needed to help our dog, redirecting my daughter to another clinic while our dog was actively seizing. I will not be returning to this place.

Very friendly place! My daughter was off on her honeymoon and her home pet sitter didn’t work out, so I had to find a place for her fur baby before I flew back home. Evergreen was extremely helpful and accommodating. Fur baby loved it & videos of her stay were provided to give my daughter feedback. Will definitely return!

Evergreen has been taking care of my grooming and boarding needs for at least 8 years and I would not take little Porter anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Went there to inquire about boarding for a few days. I asked if they gave meds and they said yes but then asked what’s wrong. I told them he has an occasional seizure but it’s controlled. They then said NO. I specifically went there because of the vet office associated with them. I guess they only want to care for healthy dogs. Very disappointed.

I take my dogs here. The veterinarian is very smart and caring. Older and to the point. Dont expect him to talk soft or fluff his communication. I like the open honesty. The spa xan use better time management.

My fur baby Se7en, and I recently had a delightful 1st experience here at Evergreen! While visiting family, something came up short notice and I had to find a daycare who would take him in. The staff was extremely professional, caring, courteous and overall pleasant as well as! I was even late with pick up (LA traffic) and the staff was still very accommodating. I would definitely suggest bringing your loved one here for a visit, whether it be for daycare, grooming, or medical... all parties will be greatly satisfied that you did! ❤

Love bringing my dog here to kennel. The workers there are very attentive and respectful. My dog loves going there and the works love her! The groomer always does a good job of grooming my dog on the day of pick up.

First Time going here. They took me in within a few hours and didn’t even charge me an emergency visit. My dog was very lethargic and I almost thought he had neurology issues. By the time I got there whatever was going on with him was completely gone. But the doctor still checked him out and welcomed us without making me feel embarrassed. The best part of the visit was when I went to go pay, The doctor decided he was not going to charge me. He was professional and very thorough. I will be making this my main doctor for my pets! Thanks Evergreen

This is the best vet experience I’ve ever had with both of my dogs. They actually care about the animals! Thank you to the entire staff.

This place is good when your pets are alive. When it came to cremation, they cheat & lie. They charged an enormous amount for cremation (easily high 3-digit figure). If the pet is dead, why charged the fee for the vet to LOOK at the body? What a joke! After we protested that fee, they removed it & said body would be picked up in a week for cremation. They blamed COVID & short staff (DUH?). When called back a few days later, they said no it hasn't been picked up. We demanded money back & bring body somewhere else. Then, they quickly put us on hold, came back & said: yes, body has been picked up. I would not recommend dealing with business lying. For remaining pet services, I would take it elsewhere.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I called this place because my primary care didn’t have doctors until Monday, so I was desperate. I made an appointment for 2:45 and showed up about 20 minutes early to fill out the new client form. The front desk woman didn’t even acknowledge me so I had to take it upon myself to check in to get the form. Then the girl tells me I don’t even have an appointment even tho I called three hours prior to make the appointment. An hour and a half goes by and I finally get a room, then I wait for another 40 minutes just for the EXTREMELY RUDE doctor giving me directions to an emergency clinic. I said why can’t you see him? HE TOLD ME BECAUSE MY CAT HAS SPECIAL NEEDS HE CANNOT SEE HIM. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL VET CLINIC I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND THIS “DOCTOR” NEEDS HIS LICENSE REMOVED.

I board my dog at Evergreen Animal Care Center frequently and I do it with the satisfaction of knowing that my dog gets the best experience he can get while being away from us. I live in Valencia, CA. and Evergreen is in a very convenient place for anyone in the Santa Clarita Valley to board a pet.In most cases, my dog hates going anywhere near a place like this, but I truly believe he feels comfortable at this resort and doesn't mind kicking back at Evergreen when we are away. Knowing that my dog is safe and being taken care of by people who love animals, helps put my mind at ease when we are out of town. The staff is always so friendly, prompt, caring, and happy. The resort itself is beautiful on the inside and out. In a dog’s world, it is basically like checking into the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas. The facilities are clean, spacious, and comfortable.Next time you are in need of a veterinarian, grooming, or pet boarding facility, make sure to call Evergreen Animal Care Center. They always exceed our expectations when caring for our pet! Lastly, Evergreen is also very affordable. If you care about your animals well being while you are away, the pricing is perfect and well worth it! A++++++

Dr. Mansour has been treating my animals for nearly 30 years and I would not take any of my precious babies to any one else!! He cares as much for the owners of the animals as much as he does the animals themselves. He is a wonderful Vet and cares deeply about every person that walks through his door!! Always a pleasure to deal with his staff too- very nice girls!!!!

ANIMAL ABUSE. My ne star is extremely generous. I will never ever be returning to this awful place. My puppy had an ear infection in both ears and an infected dewclaw. We waited for about 30 minutes before being seen and my puppy was extremely anxious and not feeling too well. So you’d hope the vet would wine in being calming and make your pet feel comfortable, right ? Well, Dr. Monsour came barging in the room being obnoxiously loud and the opposite of calming. Not to mention he had an extremely thick accent that is almost impossible to understand. I attempted to tell him what was wrong with my puppy, but he continuously interrupted me and copped an attitude with me. He then had 5 people come in and pin my puppy to the table. His ears were killing him so he didn’t want them to be touched, but Dr. Mansour ( it feels wrong to call this animal abuser “Dr ) continued to pull his ear hair out while my puppy was screaming and panting drooling in pain. Then they grabbed a muzzle which made it impossible for my dog to breathe and continued to pin him to the table while he was in severe pain, i had to yell stop & we left this horrid place to go somewhere where they’d treat my puppy with love. My puppy was scarred after this experience & we will never be returning to this absolutely cruel place. I hope others see my review and don’t take their beloved pets to this place.

Today was the day all pet owners dread. End of life for your beloved pet. My son's Chihuahua was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge and we couldn't have chosen a more compassionate place to take her. I can't say enough positive about Dr. Mansour and I wish I had gotten the Vet Techs name because she was also amazing. They treated us with dignity and compassion, allowing our family to be with Mika as she passed over.

In my opinion there is no better vet alive. I have been going there since 1995. When I move I will still go there no matter what I will not ever take my animals anywhere else he has compassion that it takes to be a good veterinarian I don't even have enough words to say about how I feel. Hes just amazing♥️

Not happy under which our cats were boarded here at such a high fee. Our cats were literally traumatized, being within close proximity to barking dogs in the next room. The staff girls seemed indifferent to our concerns. Just not happy overall with this place. Our cats were moved to another better place in Palmdale and are slowly coming out of their being scared experience.

I just took my dog in for her vaccines and a health certificate so that we can fly her home for christmas. I will start by saying everyone was very friendly. However, I had some issues with this facility. First, they had a mix up with my appointment and had me for a different day, which is no big deal, it happens and I was able to get in anyway but they seemed a little unorganized. Also, I had to tell, not only the the women at the front desk but also the doctor when I got back into the exam room, what I was there for. Again, it just seemed very unorganized. Second, the vet assistant did not have proper form when lifting my dog onto the exam table and holding her while he gave the vaccines, I had to step in and help. However, what was more concerning was the dirty exam room, which had dried blood splattered on the wall. Also the thermometer that the vet assistant used to take her temperature was not covered with a plastic, throw away guard. This is very unclean and can easily spread disease! I will never take my dog back to this facility. (I will say I have taken vet assistant classes and job shadowed a vet so I am familiar with what is supposed to happen and what's exceptable). I would suggest everyone do their research. Hope this helps someone in the future!

I'll say that the Vet part of the facility is good and I've had no issues. But the daycare/boarding of pets part of the facility is very expensive. They make a quick buck by requiring you to get your pet(s) bathed the day of your pickup.

My family has been going to Evergreen for over 20 years. Growing up as a kid, we took all of our family pets here, and now that I have a dog of my own, I have always used their services. Their professionalism and compassion is second to none in Santa Clarita. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for their pets!

Took my 2 year-old Corgi-Chihuahua Sandie here today after an emergency vet recommended xrays, cultures, and the whole nine yards, due to her original symptoms of pale gums and her bloodwork came back normal aside from a high ALB. She also showed no signs of lethargy or lameness, so I figure it may have been a fluke. I am very happy I brought her here. They did a short exam and started her on a antibiotic shot (cefazolin), and sent us home with some more antiobiotics to take before a follow-up visit next week. Will definitely be coming back in the future. They explain in detail any questions you may have and have reasonable prices.
