The deli needs lots of help. Manager very unfriendly and there is never any deli salads in the case at a reasonable time. It’s a shame. Rafa and Paul are great I must say. But the manager never greeted me. He sliced my lunch meat placed it on the counter and walked away. Zero words from him.On a positive note, the bakery, meat, dairy, front end and produce looked great with a helpful staff

This Ralph’s location just replaced all their carts, their card machines were updated at the self check out(might do apples pay now, will have to test and update). Staff is incredibly friendly.Edit:At the end of 2023 started a remodel and moved everything around. They don’t seem to have as much in stock, forcing me to switch to another grocery store. It’s a bummer it changed, it feels dirty and is NOT a benchmark compared to their competitors around town.

I have government Medicare and I pay for government Medicare Plan B. In addition, President Biden stated all seniors citizens with Medicare will receive updated vaccines Covid 19 and RSV. To deny a senior citizen with Medicare a vaccine is unbelievable. How do you put a human beings life at risk? How do you that? Seriously. This is what is wrong with this world.

So I read a couple of reviews and I have to say , they may not be as polite as one would like them to be , HOWEVER we had lost a wallet yesterday Monday night and took over 2 hours to get back their and not only were my cards there but so was all the cash, I had inside. If I could I would have given them all some capital but im not in that position. However I decided to give them a 5 star well deserved review! Thank you ladies and gentlemen that were their yesterday night. All the staff .

I was very surprised today when I stopped at this location at how unfriendly everyone was today. I understand that everyone is busy and yes some days are bad days but EVERY employee had a scowl on their face. That’s sad considering they’re jobs are dealing with face to face customer service. I didn’t catch her name (I should have) but the older female clerk working the self check out was very rude to me, one other customer and then one of their own employees and that’s just in the five minutes I went through there. Who knows how many other customers she was rude to today. I normally don’t complain about people but when I saw her being rude to another employee I didn’t think that was right and asked for a Mgr. I waited about 5-10 minutes and no Mgr showed, so I left. The funny part is I had to stop here the night before and the young lady who checked me out was so super smiley and nice! I guess it just depends on the day!!

I’m not sure why just this Ralph’s store in Newbury Park is so different from the other Ralph’s. It’s dark, horribly cluttered like a crowded unclean market found out of the country. What happened to light bright and clean? Only poor foreign countries clutter every open space with a multiple displays, stacks and piles of random products. It’s too chaotic and messy here. I dread each time I have walked in, and surprised at the creative clusters of more and more piled around the checkout and entrance and exit ways, it’s impossible to keep a store clean with so much stuff everywhere — it really doesn’t feel clean and I would never entertain using their restrooms, not if the public area is such a mess. It’s like they are turning the once lovely designed supermarkets into dollar store junk stores. Random stuff stored everywhere. I could never recommend this Ralph’s store. I’ll stick to the one in Thousand Oaks on Moorpark Rd over this one off Ventu. Yikes! I can’t wait to leave this one.UPDATE: They have made some changes!! Less clutter and cleaner. The employees seem more attentive and available. It’s a smaller store compared to the TO store a few minutes away, but it’s gotten better — must have changed management and employees. Nicer now to shop than before. Relieved to see that. I’m sorry the parking lot doesn’t feel safer, but that the change to the neighborhood. It’s location is great tho.

We stay near this Ralphs Store in a hotel and love the greater selection they offer now. They added Sushi now as well which is awesome, it's so good and very good selection of choices. The salad choices are great, too (Brokkoli salad my fave). Last visit in May 2023 the brokkoli salad was too raw, we had to throw it away. So convenient to walk to Ralph's for a quick grocery shopping and no drive to the Moorpark exit location. So pleased to see that! The chicken we tried was way too spicy (warm chicken pieces box) and had no specific label which said so. Maybe this can be added cos not all customers can handle it🤔. But overall good store.

This place is great. I love the selection of stuff they have (especially the mark down racks, which I ALWAYS hit up when I go there). But, my favorite part about this store is the customer service in the checkout...The people who work there are the #1 reason I go there and not Walmart.As someone who worked in grocery for more than ten years, I must also say that I am thoroughly impressed by just how immaculate the grocery area looks. The facing/zoning job I see when I come is some next level stuff.

This Ralphs was nice and clean. They didn't have that big of a selection but it was still good. Staff here is nice but seems to talk with one another more so than with customers. The deli here is tiny. They did not have a lot of fresh item readily available for purchase.

Nice place. I am from out of town and ate at the Irish pub at the Palm Garden hotel which gave me some terrible heartburn and after waking up at 12:45am this grocery store was open. I walked there and I was so happy to see it open. After paying $4 later no more heartburn and grateful they were open. Plus, the woman at register was very friendly and cute.

Laura has the worst attitude. She makes the checking out experience terrible. If she's working at self check out and you accidentally ring something up, she's going to be rude. I try to avoid her at all costs.

Horrible, rude cashier named Angelina. After ringing up the wrong price on an item, I asked for an explanation of the corrected price to make sure it was indeed corrected. She did not attempt to completely explain the correction on the checkout screen and refused to make sure I was okay with the confusing way the screen was showing the corrected pricing. Another employee came over to assist who did explain the correction which is all Angelina needed to do rather than the rude belligerent way she tried to get rid of me. I've never in my life seen such horrible treatment of a customer who just wanted to be sure the transaction was corrected in the proper way. I called Kroger corporate and filed a complaint with them hoping the employee will be taught how to treat a customer rather than argue with them without proper explanation.

they(only one of the staff) don't consider foreign ID to sell alcohol, I found it a bit non sense! there is an other shop in 5 min walk distance that sold the same thing(even cheaper) with my Canadian ID :D

Cody, the manager, has the sweetest personality and has always been there when I've needed assistance. He is completely knowledgeable about any questions I have had and I also have noticed that the whole atmosphere at Ralphs is one of cooperation and happy faces. It's a joy to go to Ralphs, which is my favorite place to shop, and to be treated very well with employees who are upbeat and love what they are doing for the customers that shop there! If there were more stars, I'd add them. Thank you for allowing the public to comment about the places they go to shop. It is indeed a pleasure doing business at Ralphs on Ventu Rd in Newbury park!!!

I have never been in a major supermarket that was in such bad shape. Out of stock on many items, shelf a mess in most departments and produce that was so bad I declined to shop in the store. This is a real shame, because I used to shop at Ralph's all the time, but no more. I hope it is simply a management issue with this store, Ralph's was my favorite place to shop.

I am not from the area, so I didn't know much about this store. The moment I walked in and looked around, it struck me. This is a Meijer! Yep, the whole store is laid out as expected. The same house brands as well. That was great as Meijer is a great grocery store. The stores are clean, the shelves well stocked, and the staff is polite and efficient. So, midwesterners, this is Meijer! Oh, and my customer loyalty number worked, too. ;)It's nice to have something familiar when you travel and this did it for me. Thanks!

Used to live in the SFV where Ralphs was everywhere. I'm not sure where the nearest one is to this one here in Newbury Park, but I'm so glad it's here. Just clean, nice staff and great selection as always of produce. From time to time I grab sandwiches at the Deli and the prices are super reasonable and sandwiches just loaded with whatever I ask for.

Pretty good store. Ok hot bar. Salad bar is fresh. Very clean. Always stocked. Always crowded, but quick checkout. Carries a lot of different brands. You won't find the household aisles at this location. That's on Moorpark.

Very bad experience!I can't believe it today, I went to buy some theraflu and it turns out that they didn't sell it to me because I didn't have a California ID. I showed him my consular and he said that this is not valid here, but if it is supposed that if the Guatemalan consulate here in California gives me this identification to be able to identify myself here, I don't see why they can't sell me some simple painkillers that are used for a cold, I'm in need now and I couldn't get them. What with this I was not even buying alcohol is an over the counter pain reliever without a prescription. I had just been through Walmart and bought some DayQuil and they didn't ask for ID, I don't understand why they ask me here. really bad experience

Beware of the gift card SCAM in this store. I purchased $300 gift cards, these gift cards have $0 balance. After speaking with the lady at the counter, I am 100% convinced that the scammers have inside persons at this store.When I asked the lady if I needed to call the police or the bank. The lady literally took some gift cards back from the rack to the office, and never spoke one single word since I asked if I needed to call the cops.

The staff must work hard to keep this store in great shape. Ralph's is the market that always bragged about the number of brands on hand, and I'd agree. The competition has, for the most part, caught up but Ralph's still has an edge, it seems.

Ralph’s grocery store at Newbury park:I like Ralph’s store in Newbury Park because they have things there that other stores don’t have. However, the manager, Lorelei, always is grouchy, unhappy, not nice to customers, and always has a scowl on her face. I cringe when I need to go to customer service or get checked out by her like yesterday. I left so depressed by her demeanor. No one like that should be working with the public!!!Patricia

Terrible customer service. The cashier was on her phone after she finished with the person I front of me checking messages. Scanned my stuff while looking at her phone no eye contact and handed me the receipt with a look of disgust. Zombies like behavior BURN OUT.

Best place to go we need to pack of cigarettes after 12 midnight because in Camarillo there's nothing else open and snow and I was just over the hill from the Camarillo Springs where I live but I make the best of it I go to RALPH'S go get somethingthat will satisfy me into a food comaUBEA/TARO bobahomemade battery croissant.filled W/yummy.
