I had used Davids dog grooming for my Border Collie for many years. David was always so kind and attentive to my girl. He provided excellent services, great prices and above all, he was so loving to my girl. He would always give her a once over and let me know if he ever noticed anything abnormal going on with her…as she aged she would get lumps and bumps and David noticed every single one and would always bring it to my attention just in case. Thank you David for taking care of Bailey, she has just passed now at 18 years old.

David seems like a very nice guy. We've taken a couple of dogs to him 2-3 times and the results were pretty good. Not everything is always perfect, but it's good enough and I really liked his operation that seemed very peaceful compared to a traditional grooming salon.Unfortunately, the last time David groomed my golden-doodle, he sliced through her a part of her clitoris. The dog came home and started incessantly licking herself to the point that I had to put a cone on her. I've has many dogs groomed over the years, and I have groomed dogs myself many times. You have to be amazingly negligent and careless to slice through a part of dog's clitoris while grooming.David refunded the money and said he genuinely cares about the dog, but I can only imagine the kind of howl she emitted when he mangled her reproductive organs. For him to not address this immediately upon picking the dog up is astoundingly negligent.I certainly will never be taking my dog to David's again, and if you don't want to have a cone on a dog after a grooming visit, or wait hours in the ER to make sure that the dog is OK, I highly suggest avoiding this place.

Our Golden loves going to Dave's. It's not a drop off at 8 and pick up at 5 so the puppy sits in a crate/cage most of the day. He's booked our 2-3 weeks because if his popularity. He takes his time and it's amazing how happy the pup is after. Clearly a very positive experience for him.

As long as I live in the NP or the T.O. area I will continue to only bring our dogs to David's Dog Grooming. He is friendly and caring with the dogs, and they like to see him. Highest recommendation.
