Great new store. Has tires, food court, optical. Newly added sushi roll station, which is actually really good. Much better than the rolls they previously carried. Super delicious hot chicken drumsticks right next to grilled chicken’s. It smelled so good. I will get it next time as I already bought steaks and ground beef. I got fresh fettuccine. And some new interesting pasta sauce, which is Parmesan and black pepper.

Usually, a crowded Costco can make my anxiety flare up, and I'm often eager to leave before even exploring the store. However, the wide walking areas, pre-packed fresh food, meal ordering options, extensive clothing selection, and the spacious food court with plenty of seating were absolutely perfect. I want to express my gratitude to Costco for consistently turning my shopping trips into enjoyable experiences. Thank you! 🛒🙌

Visited this Costco for our regular Costco shopping trip. It is located at Newpark Mall, whereas, we were able to visit the mall during the same trip. It was very busy for this Costco and I sense that the location has more area within the warehouse. Product offerings were basically the same as the other Costco stores but the food area has more space in the front. Getting to the store was a title hard as the road has only one lane. There wasn’t any cell service while we were in the warehouse; therefore, my digital payment system did not work — luckily, I keep one valid card with me at times. I will return when at the mall but I would not make a deliberate trip to this location.

It finally opened.It’s about 1.3x larger than Fremont Costco.Outdoor parking is a mess.I recommend you park at the parking garage with no traffic jam and no wait time.But overall, it is just a regular Costco.I would probably stay in Fremont/ SJ next time.

This Costco is more spacious than other ones. It has a lot of premium and different variety items that I have not seen in any other location, like 4.8k Louis Vuitton luggage, $78 trousers, expensive whiskeys, more kids clothing section, arcade games, backyard items on display that are sold online, etc. There was huge empty space, where they had parked two cars, membership area also had good space. There were 10s of people sweeping the floor, which is hard to see. Today it was extremely busy, parking was hard and even walking space was limited inside the costco. I think it is just because of the first day and I hope it would come down. Tissue paper and drinks section was huge and well organized. They are giving $30 digital gift card for mew member if you enroll before Nov 26th. They have tire center and gas station.Tip: don’t enter near the main entrance road, it would be extremely busy. Enter from the road, which is near the gas station to increase your chances for finding the parking.

I love shopping at Costco in general but this location lack of training a new team members, just for return took a long time to look up and 3 other people involved just to determine the price. Have to have supervisor looking at it, because the new team member kept asking questions and confuse of what is going on.

So far so good, clean, and more spacious compared to the Pacific Commons.A 4x4 gas station is a saver. On the first day of opening, it was half empty.The parking lots are crowded though. Even the nearby parking from the AMC was used.

Costco's new location in Newark, California, adjacent to Newpark Mall, is a game-changer for local shoppers. What a great idea opening up another location in this area, the Fremont location is always super busy and know that this location is open, it alleviated some of the Fremont location traffic. I've also filled up here a few times after work and have been able to pull right up to the pumps. More product here than the Fremont location as well. Only bummer is parking can be a pain

Brand new Costco in Newark! It was easy to find parking the day I went probably because it is new and it was raining. The merchandise is the same as other Costco. Lines were shorter and employees were pleasant and super helpful.

Brand new Costco in our neighborhood, everything is new and it looks good.Only caveat is the parking, somehow the parking should have been planned in a better way, there is lot of cross walk all around the parking lot

Very big gas station. I really like newark one more than the one in Pacific commons. They have a lot of space planned for future EV chargers, which is good. Entrance to cotsco is a little complicated with the whole newpark mall round circle & can get a lot crowded on weekends with no place to park with such a big lot available, so make sure you plan ahead & go offf hours for smooth experience .

In multiple years, had first and a good experience at Costco tires Newark, thanks this new location. Costco fremont tires ruined many visits and many hours, gave up on it a few years ago. Got tired of the "Fremont Anger Tire Center" and disrespectful experiences. Fremont Costco Managers were only busy with signing customers with 2% in Amex card days.

Great Costco as always, busy but quick. Only issue I’ve had is I’ve taken public transportation there a few times as I plan to Uber back and the sidewalks/path are pretty terrible. No issues with the parking lot when I’ve driven there.

When I was checking out, the cashier asked if I wanted to donate to a hospital. I replied, "Maybe next time." Then the assistant chimed in, "Just one dollar?" I politely declined, saying, "No, thank you." However, both the cashier and her assistant burst into loud laughter, which felt incredibly disrespectful.Firstly, I was unaware of the donation initiative and was in a bit of a hurry to get home. Secondly, their behavior felt like a form of guilt-tripping, pressuring me to donate in a way I wasn't comfortable with.Later, after learning that the donation was for a children's hospital, I chose to contribute to the donation box.

I wasn't aware that there is a Costco next to New Park Mall. Big nice location. Disappointed when I went inside just to get my favorite chicken. Only 2 available and the thing was small and dry. The Costco in North San Jose, the chicken's are huge and juicy so I am totally confused as to why the difference in size? I am assuming that they purchase their poultry from the same company because this is the very first time that I have ever bought a chicken this bad from Costco. Their rotisserie chicken's are stellar so I am a bit surprised also, every time I go now....I have had to wait to get a chicken. 🤣. They are so delicious and extremely popular with everyone so beware as you may need to wait to buy one now. I will visit again though because this Costco is very nice.

This was my first visit to the new Costco in Newark. We went on a Wednesday night so it was not very crowded. The space seems much more open and the isles a little wider. Also the layout is a little better which helps with congestion. It will be interesting to see what its like on a busy day.

This store is new and organized for now however the employees were super rude compared to Fremont Costco. I had only 4 items on my cart walking out and the person at the door was trying to verify each item on the receipt, I don't think this is their standard procedure and it was very awkward that it was not done to the customers in front of me. Will not go to this location again, Fremont Costco is busier but people don't treat you poorly.

Overall our experience was good until we checked out, the cashier gave us a very despective look and there was no interaction at all. Never said hi, never said bye, her name tag was turned around but in my receipt I saw her name, it is Mariam.

Park your car in parking garage, and you can access both the Mall and Costco. Bigger and more spacious, specially in food court area and has slightly more items collection. Friendly staff, specifically in self checkout area. Access road to Costco and parking entry and exits are narrow and gets crouded pretty quickly. Overall had a great experience.

The supervisor here is very rude … as we told him for price adjustment. We needed price adjustment for this shirt and it was not even a month . But finally we left , for his poor performance and behavior .

Costco is Costco... Nothing new but one can't go wrong with Costco for any home items in wholesale. Having said that it was too crowded maybe because it was its opening day. Not all items that we buy frequently were in stock or display. Most of the employees are new so they don't know the exact location of each item. In addition to all this, the parking scenario is super bad.. expect a lot of waiting in line. Parking spots are not limited though but the lanes seem to be congested in front of the main entrance. I might give another chance to this location compared to the Pacific Commons one .. to see if it is still not this crowded.

I go to Costco maybe three times a week. Today I had a little bit of cabin fever and decided that I needed to get out and so Costco was my target. A new one was being built, and that essentially makes the 4th Costco close to my house, with this one potentially being the second closest. I now have a Costco within 7 miles from my home in both directions heading north and south. That's also probably cuz I live in the middle of the Bay area California, which ensures that even if they added another Costco, there still wouldn't be too many for the population density. This is the new Costco that recently opened up next to the Newpark Mall. It took over the space that many years ago once housed the century Cinedome theaters. Upon arrival, you'll find that parking is spacious and makes you feel like you're in Hawaii because the entrance to the Costco is right next to the existing Newpark Mall parking structure. For all those who are wondering, it is essentially the same as the Costco at Auto Mall parkway in terms of layout. Matter of fact, if I knocked you out and you woke up you wouldn't know which one you were at. The only giveaway might be that the aisles seem a little bit wider and everything looks cleaner. That's not to say that the auto mall version is a dirtier place, there's just a newness about this one. As a bonus for the time being, you'll also find that the gas station for this Costco has very short lines. The downside, is that exiting the new park area will be much more difficult because the entry and exit points are few and typically single laned. Even on a late Saturday night, the closest exit had a line of cars trying to exit and enter the freeway, but that was also slow going. I can only imagine during the daytime that it would be far worse when the mall and the Costco patronage is much higher. Overall, this is going to be the classic Costco experience, but the location is going to make going more challenging than arriving. Enjoy!

When I inquired about this, employees mentioned their feedback wasn’t effectively communicated to the manager, hindering improvements in this area.Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall shopping experience for Costco patrons.

This new Costco is the nicest, most efficient Costco I have been to. Parking is good. Besides the parking in front of the store, there is a two floor parking structure with an elevator and room for the carts.
