My daughter had a minimum day so we headed to Nevada City for lunch. It has been a while since going to Three Forks, so we gave it a try. It was VERY busy on a Monday at lunch. We only had to wait in line to order for a few minutes. Ordering was quick and the cashier was friendly. All the indoor tables were full so we sat outside. Our food arrived within a short time and was fresh and yummy looking. I had the small house salad with egg and goat cheese added and my daughter had a cheese pizza. She gave the pizza a “10 out of 10”! She said it was now her new favorite. The salad was just the right size and perfectly dressed. Lots of people had their dogs on the patio and that made the whole lunch even better!Vegetarian options: Most everything is meat free. You can add on a protein as an extra.Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free optionsParking: The parking lot is usually full, but turns over so can get lucky sometimes.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible from the parking lot

Farm to table goodness at Three Forks! Stopped in for lunch after a hike. Got americano and the best coconut macaroon I’ve ever tasted. Then I ordered the Mushroom & Genovese Pizza. Their pizza is made. With organic wild yeast and sourdough. I added an egg and pancetta for protein fix. It was beyond amazing 🤩

This place has it all! Whether you're looking for coffee, espresso, tea, baked goods, soups, salads, sandwiches, wood-fired pizza, wines, hard cider, & beer, you will be covered. To me, this is a way to truly attract a very large demographic in a very small town. This takes me on a trip to beautiful and historic Nevada City where I had the honor of trying out "Three Forks Bakery & Brewing".Located at 211 Commercial St. and just off of Highway 49 in the heart of downtown Nevada City, Three Forks has been a huge favorite for locals as well as tourists passing through. I arrived here with my +1 at around 2:45pm during the afternoon of Sunday 12/26/2021. There is a dedicated parking lot (which can fill up quickly) as well as surrounding parking in the area. But since this is a heavily traveled area with many shops, boutiques, and restaurants, it might be a bit challenging finding somewhere to park during peak hours. As of late-December 2021, the normal operating business hours are Wednesday through Monday from 8am-9pm while allowing their staff to have a day off on Tuesdays. Of course this is subject to change due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They do not take reservations. However they do offer quite a bit of cozy indoor seating as well as a tent where you can dine outside. Since I came up here on a snowy 32° day, I was lucky to find a family leaving while I sat inside. The interior layout of this place is as cozy and homely as you'd expect from a small, family-owned business in the country. It had a very cabin-like feel to it with the wooden beams in the ceiling, a very generous bar area with several beers on tap, and a spacious seating area for couples as well as bigger groups. Keep in mind that masks/facial coverings are required upon entry to keep the staff safe during the pandemic. If you forget your mask, they offer disposable ones right when you walk in the door.As far as my lunch and desserts, I ended up going with a beet red velvet cupcake with Gina Marie cream cheese frosting and a hot spiced cider. And my main entrée consisted of their popular "Salami Pizza". This pizza had homemade tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, provolone, garlic, oregano, and Parmesan with orangic wild yeast crust. I completed this with a pint of their "Purdon Porter" beer (5.7% abv). After paying + adding the tip at the register, I was given a number and sat at our table. Within 10 minutes, our piping hot pizza was brought out to us.Overall, the flavor of the pizza was absolutely delicious. I'm a huge fan of the wood-fired pizzas and this did not disappoint. The price at $18 was also a good deal since this pizza was big enough to feed two hungry people. Even their baked goods are exceptionally succulent as the cupcake was a nice treat and complimented the hot apple cider nicely. All in all, "Three Forks Bakery & Brewing" is just that, a great bakery and a great place to enjoy a brew with lots of food options to choose from. My rating, an above average four stars.

My wife and I were on a honeymoon road trip and stopped in Nevada City where I grew up, after we checked out all the familiar spots, we had a bite here. Ordered pizza and a few local beers. Service was super friendly, the atmosphere and energy was really good. We sat outside, it was a bit nippy and heaters would have been most welcome at this turn of the seasons, but it was still cozy. Food was delicious and served quickly, the beers were fantastic. We will absolutely return again when we are back in the area!

To clarify I only had beer flights and Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake. The service was pretty good. The Cashier seemed distracted but she was fine. The cheesecake didn't really have any blueberry flavor but my wife still liked it. The beer was decent. Nothing was bad but there wasn't anything that was a MUST have. The place itself was cute and worth coming in. The people around us that had food seemed happy with it and it looked good.

Really nice and energetic place to grab a beer and some food after or before walking through old Town. The beers are nice and have different hop level for different people. We order a cheese pizza and it was great - cheese with a bite and good crust from the fire oven.

The food is fantastic, and they have a great red beer, but they call it an amber. Service is fast. You're supposed to tip, even though you pay at the counter and pick up your own food, rather get waited at a table. The only real downside of this place, arguably, is the menu is highly variable. I have had a fantastic gazpacho and a really good chili in the past. But they didn't have either during my most recent visit. The soups never let me down, but you never know what they'll have. Same with the baked items. The only thing you can be sure about is the pizza.

Went to the Yuba river for a quick getaway and saw this place when walking around the small downtown area. Got a sample and the beers are strong I ask one of the employees where the hops come from, she mentioned owner get their hops for from Belgium and Germany since he they like to travel. Desserts are awesome as well, home made and tastes great. Would love to see the pizza less soggy but it tasted good. Ingredients and meat locally sourced! Thats an A+ Will definitely come back in the summer.

To call this place a bakery would be like calling Home Depot a candy store because they have candy at the checkout line...Having approximately 9 baked items, does not make you a bakery. A couple different types of scones, a single muffin, a pastry of some sort, some cookies, and a jammed bread was all they had to offer.10:10 a.m., and you couldn't even order off the breakfast menu because those items are not served until 11:00 according to the staff. They offer coffees as well, but according to the staff, those are not served past 10:00 a.m...It seems they make up times that they serve items as they think of them.First visit, and definitely the last.

I have been in three times. I was ignored standing at the bar and passed over. Not that busy. Next time he couldn't be bothered to talk about different beers. Short and rude. Next went in with my brand new puppy. 2,500 dollar puppy!! YIKES . He said tie her up outside. I said I can't leave her alone. So instead of saying tell me what you would like I will bring it out. He said maybe you should leave. I said you may want to think about how welcoming, friendly and accommodating you are. Even before he came off as part of the clique. That sit in their own little worlds.. Never again. A group out of town I know. Said the food sucked and nothing was good about this place. Trendy wanna be hippies. They missed the mark.

Not bad. The food is ok and a little pricy. We tried the pulled pork sandwich, I would suggest getting the pizza. It smelled delish. Next time I would love to try their breakfast items. The beer was on point. Parking sucks.
