My dog was stung by a bee. Turns out, he’s allergic! So I brought him to the closest vet clinic to my house.When we arrived the staff was EXTREMELY rude!! Even considering the circumstances, the girl at the front desk was completely nasty to me. In a roundabout way, she kept trying to imply that I didn’t have money to pay for it.She was more concerned with 1) if my dog has been seen there before and 2) if I had a credit card on file. Then the health and wellness of my dog. Never mind my dog was going into shock and would have died without medical intervention. That was only their priority, after she completed 1 and 2. No it’s not right but it how they do here. Profits before your pet’s health are their priority!Adding insult to injury, they tried to price gouge me ($120 to be seen by vet) because we’re were ‘concerned a walk-in’ as the rude AF vet tech put it. Not okay either!! Taking advantage of the circumstances while I emotionally vulnerable as I was concerned about my dog.Needless to say, even in the event of a pet emergency, I felt this vet clinic handling of the situation was so 🤬 that I ended up taking my dog to a different vet clinic a little further away. And he was fine. But no thanks to Plaza Blvd Pet Hospital.

Very friendly and great service for my pets! Willing to answer any questions that I have and give their recommendations for any health issues or concerns. They also check in later on to see how the pets are after a visit. I really do appreciate all that they do for my pets, especially since they can be a bit funky. Will be returning for vet services for all of my pets while I am still in this area. Thank you!

Very kind, attentive staff at Plaza Vet. The vets are always thorough in their exams while being gentle, and explain everything so I understand. The techs and receptionists are very professional and sweet. I’ve brought 2 of my dogs here and will be coming back!

This is a really great vet, they took care of my 16 year old elderly cats dental work, and helped us find a flea medicine that actually worked which is amazing cause he is allegic and was miserable.Two years later and they are helping him with a case of the diabetes.They are well priced, and the new dr Dhalhiwal is just as nice as dr Fox was.

my boy Bruno 🐶 gets excited everytime we come here. He could probably feel the vibe. They are not just there for the money. They make sure your pet is well taken care of and respects your decision at the same time.

My pet recently was attacked by a pitbull and my dog was 17 pounds at the most . When I went to plaza Blvd hospital we met dr kaleel she went above and beyond with care for our little schnoodle . She reached out to many surgeons and tried to find the best solution the best care even after hours , In my opinion she is very passionate about her work and from now on she will be our Veterinarian . I highly recommend her because we ran into a lot of places that did not help and we felt like they did not care about our dog .

They never have any appointments available. The manager is rude and not helpful, when I made a comment to her that maybe they need to get more doctors they send me a letter being very rude and very disrespectful telling me that I'm rude and disrespectful, and they can no longer care for my pet. Which is fine because I already got another vet because they never have appointments available

If I can give no stars I would. I came here for years and this place just slowly started going down hill. The front desk ladies rude . Vet tech rude. And the new owners are rude. Since the change owners prices have skyrocketed and all they care about is how much they can up charge you for basic services. I came in recently for a simple shot, flea meds and nail trimming for 2 dogs, one dog- 9 pounds and the other 37 pounds. The office repeatedly called me and texted me which I confirmed on a 3 separate occasion I will be coming into my appointment, I showed up on time as its a waste of your time to show up early. I waited around for over an hour and was charged close to 400 dollars just for 2 shots, 2 flea pills, and 2 nail trimming. The next day I gave my dogs the flea pills to not interpret the shots that they were given the day before when I noticed my bigger dogs flea medicine was incorrect, she was given a doesage that was for 10-24 pounds which would be a waste of my money had I not paid attention to what she was given. Thankful their carelessness didn't effect my small dog and she was given the correct pill, but I spent an hour at the vet so this foolishness shouldn't have happened. This is not the first time I had a problem with overpricing and rudeness coming from the vet. If you love your pets look elsewhere. After my incident I requested my dogs file and closed their accounts and will not be returning. If your carless about my dogs flea medicine what else are you careless about when it comes to my dogs!

I had a great experience with them and got an “emergency” appointment without an issue. Dr. Dahilwal was extremely nice and the staff gave us everything we needed to treat my pup. Definitely a really good service and knowledgeable Team.

I came here recently and they didn’t inform me about their policy that all pets must be vaccinated to be seen here. So I felt like I wasted my money because they refused to give my dehydrated Senior FIV+ cat fluids, an injection of anti nausea or do bloodwork because I didn’t want to give him the rabies shot. The receptionist and Dr. told me “It’s Ca law for cats to be vaccinated” which it is not. The law in Ca is dogs have to be vaccinated for Rabies doesn’t say anything for cats. I explained to them that my Cat is an indoor, FIV+ Senior and it wouldn’t be safe and it’d be unnecessary because he doesn’t go outside. They’ll probably respond saying it’s their policy and it’s safe but no Dr. we’ve seen has ever recommended I vaccinate my FIV+ cat because he has a weak immune system and especially if he was sick it could be fatal for him. This experience was upsetting and if they are so worried about Rabies why not just tell your staff to get vaccinated or ask owners to put muzzles on their pets there are cat muzzles as well. Instead of pushing it on patients who don’t have the immune system to be vaccinated. The vet tech was nice and I appreciate that but this experience was upsetting and you could tell they didn’t care about my cat. This taught me to stick to our regular Vet.

Thank you so much Plaza Boulevard Pet Hospital!! They were the only hospital that didn't turn us away when my furry baby was in pain. After trying 9 different other hospitals; this hospital graciously took us in. I'm so grateful for all you have done for us. This pet hospital has kind, patient staff who really care about their work. Providing medication and instruction as to how it's applied. They work quick but with care and compassion. As for price; it's a decently good price :)The next day after my dog was treated they call me back to know how he was doing. Goes to shows you that they care the pet's well being. This was my first experience here and they deserve this 5 star review because now, I'm mostly definitely making this my pet's hospital. Thank you again. Please keep up the great work.I recommend going here and sharing the news.

I’ve been going here for years until my dog passed away 2years ago. I recently adopted a new dog so I’m back. The staff is wonderful and caring. I’ve used their grooming, vet and boarding services. I highly recommend them all. I have referred my friends m, clients and family here. They are very busy but they do take their time with your pet and answer any questions you have so please be patient.

Our longtime and trusted family vet is in Tijuana, and today that was not an option because of family commitments. Our elderly Chihuahua developed what seemed like an ear issue. Dr. D. was helpful and professional as was the rest of the staff.He took time with our doggie and was not pushing any expensive or unnecessary care. We also were placed on a waitlist since the need to see a vet arose quickly and we didn't have an appointment (they were booked for the day already). I didn't think we'd be seen and yet they were able to see us.Personally, I'd say the older negative reviews do not pertain at all to the current vet services. We very much appreciated their help!

I've been taking my cat here for a couple years. I've always had good experiences with this veterinarian. They listen to all of my questions and don't leave me hungry for more information. They're gentle with my pet and it shows the staff genuinely cares for him. I felt compelled to write a review after my experience today. Through this COVID-19 business I was impressed to see the measures they're taking to keep the pets and their humans safe. The staff carefully takes your pet from your car to the clinic to get done what needs to be done. I saw pets confidently walk with the vet techs back to their vehicles. I brought with me a new cat I had just adopted who wasn't in the best of shape. They were very clear with me what she needed done and how we can move on treating her problems. I ended up with a bill much less than I had anticipated. I will continue to go to this vet, and happily recommend this establishment.

My family has been going here since the 90's. On the door it says it opens at 7:30am, on Google maps its says it opens at 7:30am, and on yelp it says the same thing. But the doors are locked. When you call they answer but give you response of the "Doctors are not in but we are open, we do not unlock the door till 9am, when the doctors are in." Where does any of that BS make any sense? It does not af all! They will never see our fur children ever again.

They've gone above and beyond on multiple occasions for my VERY demon-esque kitty.The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are very fair/affordable too.Definitely reccommend you try them next time your fur-baby needs to be seen.

I took my cat to this hospital awhile ago and the staff were amazing!!! I had Lemonade pet insurance at the time and I sent a picture of the invoice to them and they reimbursed me for the stuff my insurance covered! 😊👍👍👍 If you don't have a metal/plastic or soft fabric-y carrier, that's okay! You can ask them for a cardboard carrier and they'll give it to you! 😊 I saw them give it to someone else! :DD

Just reading the owners arrogant, disrespectful, childish, finger pointing, mean spirited response to complaints tells you all you need to know about this place. The owner takes no responsibility for anything, argues and insults. Read them for yourself.Update: The managements response to my review proves my point. They should learn some restraint. I was considering this vet for my dog but based on reviews decided not to visit. This experience justifies all the negative reviews. The owner should find someone to manage reviews.

I scheduled an important gave many details specifying my dogs needs only to be turned away.I have a 6month old cane corso that is an extremely nervous pup as he is very big I asked to be seen at the latest appointment. The confirmation was to be seen at 5:30 blocked off the time 5-6pm for safety and specific reasons I was so happy to find a place to help me get my pup vaccinated. I take time off work get there the reception very rude and passive aggressive telling me she had already canceled my appointment never once reached out disregards my reasons that I spoke to someone that set up my appointment and says that person is not there. I was tuned away saying the vet would call me to set up a plan I had been two days later and no call this place is very unprofessional and for a vet you obviously cannot handle all animals.

Excellent service with Dr Khaleel and staff. Always treated us like family. She always put Bella's well being first over profit. Always the organic, safe option for my beloved pet. Trusted her advise 110%. Will recommend for as long as she provides service to the community even tough my pet died the am of 11/2/2019.At the time I couldn't think of what to do but I've trusted the staff at Plaza Blvd Pet Hospital for my dog's needs for almost 14yrs. Called to ask about a same-day visit because my dog had a lump under her eye grow 50% more and other vets did not have anything available. I didn’t want to wait two days for her other appointment I already booked. Their emergency visits are 70$ and appointments are 50$. A regular appointment at the other vets I called were ~65$ so 70$ for a same-day visit was a great deal!The staff worked very well with me and were very friendly. Everything was clear. My dog got seen and evaluated in about 30 min or less. She also got her vaccines done. I was on a waitlist til October for the vet she usually gets it done at.Thry explained the prices of everything well and showed me a sheet of everything listed. The vaccines are moderately priced.I recommend this vet!

Not a single bad thing to say about this place. Staff is always friendly. I can usually get an appointment within a reasonable time, usually same day/next day. They took care of my dads dog after he got into a fight with a stray. And I take my dog here for all his check ups, never had a bad experience. I said it on Yelp and I need to say it again.. this Veterinarian Clinic is top notch! Kudos to your staff. All the doctors here are amazing and provide you with the best education about your pet. They took very good care of my furry cat Smokie and my sphynx Bandit. I will be bringing in my other Sphynx Blanca when she needs her next annual exam. Thank you!! You are so appreciated

In the past I had taken my cat in for some procedure and was impressed with how quickly I got an appointment and how inexpensive the procedures were. Yet, my last experience was devastating. I had taken my dog to see what was wrong with a limp he developed. I was greatfull to get a quick appointment since five other vets I called were going to have me wait for several weeks to bring him in. it took them almost two months to final find out it was cancer. By that time all of the medications from the procedures, visits, and experimenting had damaged his kidney too a point where there was no hope and he eventually passed. When I finaly got three other options from other vets they all told me that this could have been prevent if he was diagnosed sooner and was not given such harsh medications. My biggest regret is not getting a second opinion much sooner. Like I said they have done well in the past with basic things. They are a bargain and they give you the fastest appointments In the area, but if you truly love your pets love them enough to take them somewhere else.
