My dog has trust issues when someone gets near her with a pair of scissors or trimmer(I’ve tried cutting her hair) She only lets Kim groom her now. ✨they always leave my baby girl lookin pretty. It really has almost everything you need and the shampoo, flea treatment, and conditioner are great?. The cons though are that it is totally automated and the time allowed is only 11 minutes, impossible to wash a dog let alone dry. When I ran out of time I was offered 3 more mins for $$, I tried and it took my card but it didn't give the extra time so I had to buy a new 11 mins, which got my dog 3/4 dry. They should just split the difference, charge a little more at the start, then no surprises.

She was great and she does great work up until she cut a piece of skin off my dogs back paw. She assured me she would be fine but she got an infection and I had to take her to the vet. She never told me to call her if my dog got an infection. I called her in hopes of getting at least a refund if I show her the vet receipts, I was wrong! She laughed on the phone and said she can not help me because to much time has past. She wanted to give me a free grooming hair cut for my dog but my dog is scared after the trauma she experienced and getting a piece of skin cut off. A 48 dollar hair cut is nothing compared to what the vet bills were I really loved her as a Groomer for my dog but the fact that she thought my situation was laughable is not okay. You would think that she would at least refund half of what I spent but she said no and laughed. I don't like being so negative but I feel that I need to WARN any other pet owners about this groomer. If she injures your pet she will not be refunding your bills from the vet. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!! Posting pictures of my dogs paw after she was seen at the vet and is in the process of healing.

Took my pup there and it was her first time getting groomed. She did such an amazing job and my pup looks so cute. She looked like a completely different pup, in a good way! She took her time and made sure my pup was comfortable. She was really sweet and kind with her and it was just really awesome! I would totally recommend. We will be going back for sure! This is the place!

I love that it is cage free! Way less stress for the dogs. The owner does an amazing job at grooming, my dog looks healthy, happy and handsome when she is done! Owner is so sweet and it’s easy to tell she loves what she does. I felt very safe leaving my dog with her and her small dog she brings in with her.

I switched to this place because my previous dog groomer took all day to groom my dog- up to 8 hours sometimes! She would come back so tired, stressed, and sad. Then I came to Happy Tails and it was great! The groomer would do a full groom and it would take around 2 hours or so. My dog is happy and energetic when I pick her up. I think she enjoys the no cage concept. Bring your dog here!

I called on a Saturday to see when the next available slot was for a FULL groom, I was asked what kind of dog it was and when I told her it was a Morkie she told me to go ahead and bring her in at 3pm.  I would have been okay if she scheduled me for another day but she said she would be able to do it at 3pm.  So I scheduled my morning activities and afternoon activities around my dogs drop off time.  I even cancelled a dinner with my friends because I wasn't sure what time I'd be able to pick my dog up.  I know this place closes at 5pm so I just made sure I was available for them whenever my dog's grooming would have been done.  So after rushing with some chores, cooking and cleaning, leaving the house in a hurry I finally get there (on time, 3pm) and the lady tells me that they are no longer accepting grooms for the day.  I smiled and I reminded her that I was the one who called and that they told me to bring in my Morkie at 3pm.  She said "oh no, nails only".  I told her that's not what we agreed to over the phone, she even asked what type of dog I had to make sure it was something they could have handled at the time a few hours before closing.  The lady insisted that she meant nail cutting only.  Why would I take my dog all the way to a groomer just to get nails cut?  What?!  During the phone conversation neither of us had said or mentioned anything about nails and I specifically said full groom when I called.  I would have been okay if she had just told me that she miscalculated or made a mistake and told me to just reschedule for another time.  Instead she insults me by insisting that she said only for nail cutting.  Why lie?  Just say you thought you could squeeze my dog into your schedule and you messed up and apologize and just have me set up for a new appointment. WASTED MY TIME.

Very sweet ! Always does an amazing job on my dogs and includes a pretty bow ! Very easy to schedule and pick up. sometimes parking is an issue but it’s a very quick in and out since the pups are cage free they just walk right on in while you tell her what you want. I like that is it cage free ! I sometimes catch my dogs lounging on the little beds while they wait so I know they are comfortable in between times and she has a cute little doggie who greets you all the time ! She has done a great job with all the pets I bring ! Mia, Sophie,mochi, and rusty all love her services

Great place!! I love that it isn't as jammed pack like other places. I can actually see my dogs getting groomed. Been going here for several months. Grooming great and friendly service. Price may be higher that most places, but they do a fantastic job.

Today For $45 my Maltipoo got a trim, nails cut, a shower AND the groomer shaved her entire belly. I didn't ask for that, so I asked why she did that and she said it was so the dog can be clean. Wtheck?? You dont shave the dog unless the owner asks you too. The shave looks horrible, like a bad haircut lol. I know it will grow back but I hated it and That is not what I wanted. There's a wall with pics inside the salon, all little white poodles with the same haircut, and my dog got that cut too. The lady in there was nice but I'll never go back. I'll save money and give my dog a shower and nail cut my self and not shave her belly.

Cage free! Yoshi,my pup, was so happy after the grooming and was just excited to see me. I did not see any problem nor found any issues with my dog after the grooming. I would recommend trying them out.

Used to take pups to Petco in Santee. We moved back to national city and the petco here had already nicked BOTH my dog's ears but I gave them another shot. They cut his leg and he needed stitches that got infected. And I had to foot the bill of course. He was traumatized.I decided ok let's give happy tails a chance bc he needed it BADLY. SUPER PLEASED with the service. Little guy looked very handsome and she was done within the hr the first time and within 2 the 2nd time. Petco always took AT LEAST 3 hrs.I also really like that it is cage free. Definitely happy with the switch! 😁

Brought our family dog Mochi here. The place is a cage free so all the dogs get to play with each other. After Mochi's appointment she looked amazing and smelled great! The owner is very sweet and was able to fit Mochi into her schedule given it was a busy day. I highly reccomend bringing your dog here!

Accommodating staff. My Shiba Inu comes home fresh, clean and soft.. it's very tricky cutting Shiba Inu nails, but happy tails dog grooming gets the job done! I'm happy I switch to this dog groomer.

Not customer but I believe the owner of this company is abusing dogs cause I hear her yelling and screaming at the dogs that is bein groomed, and I hear the dog cry, and she still yelling at the poor pup. Please people dont bring your fur babies here. It happen on this time 11:56 am on Wednesday 28th. Do not take your babies here. Everything is silent.

I have a mid sized dog. Called to see the price for services and said they wouldn't take him cause he is "too big". Don't go here unless you have a ferret.
