The salon is not Tails of the City anymore. It’s something that starts with a P. The message on the phone says it’s the same just a different name. Well that is wrong it is not at all the same. My Bearded Collie came home with no beard and completely traumatized. He has never been this way when coming from the groomer. Plus he has a couple spots on his stomach where they must nicked him with clippers. I told to just clean up his beard and not shave it. They just seem a little inexperienced in grooming and over all business practices. If you take your dog there you need to take in a picture of what you want him to look like when they are done.I think I am done with groomers for awhile. I am going to watch YouTube and learn how to do it myself. I feel so guilty for putting him through this.

These ladies are amazing!! I walked in with my Chihuahua that hates to have her nails clipped, even the vet said they would have to sedate her to do the job. These ladies ever so lovingly took my dog and in 5 min. had my dogs nails done? My dogs nails look great! Thank you so much for a job well done.

I love this groomer! My German Shepard came home so clean and pretty. He didn’t shed for two whole weeks after his bathing at the groomers.I’m pretty sure his teeth were cleaned too because his breath isn’t even bad anymore.I won’t go anywhere else.

Tails of The City in Napa is an amazing place. I took my friend's dog Brownie in for the very first time & the gals did such a fine job. We definitely will be back. It was refreshing to make the appt & get a response back the next day. Brownie looks wonderful. He smells good, is super soft & his nails look awesome. I love the cute bandana they put on him too. Nice touch. Thank you everyone for your care. 🐕🐾❤

Excellent groomers. Not to be confused with another groomer of the same or similar name. This place is just around the corner from Backdoor BBQ off of Lincoln. They're usually very busy on the weekend, about 3-4 hours for your pup to be ready. But the end result is worth it. I'll never take my pup anywhere else. They're experts in grooming, and obvious dog lovers.

I have a Pomeranian, lots of hair, spunky little guy too. Some places charge more to have him groomed because of all the hair, but not here. He’s always so beautiful and clean when I pick him up. He shows of his cute self for days. I like that they don’t encourage any silly haircut too. Pom’s need clean up, not cutting and shaving.
