Safeway is close to my house, less then 2 miles, they are open late, have several self checkout lanes. I prefer using them at this location. If you need assistance from a Front End Manager, they are great. My experience with the cashiers has been disappointing. They are not very friendly. I usually go there between 9pm - 11pm & the selection on items is limited or out of stock. They usually are working on the grocery load, bringing pallets out on the floor, so be careful & give them the space they need to move the pallets around. The store is clean, lots of Shopping carts available. They have a beautiful floral department, a pretty nice sized Deli department & very nice high end wine selection & a Starbucks. Overall it’s good, I just think their pricing is a little high. Download the Safeway App for digital coupons & deals. That will save you some money. Happy Shopping

Please start carrying some new tortilla brands. The quality of Guerrero is poor, always hard or moldy. I buy them at $5 or $6 for a small pack and end up throwing them away often. Tonight, dinner was ruined again; burrito night with no tortillas. Guerrero tortillas have lost their once great quality and so has any store that continues to stock moldy and inedible products.

I use Safeway for items I know they only have (that Wholefoods or Browns Valley Market don’t) and also because they are much cheaper and have some great deals each week. I wouldn’t recommend their fresh produce or meat section but canned goods and frozen veg is what I mostly purchase there.

The Customers are as stupid as those at Walmart, and just as rude, and that brings their score down to 3 stars.There are a couple of clerks that aren't worth the time of day and going through their checkstand is painful.Oh, and avoid the produce department, it's muddy.

Very nice staff, friendly and efficient, probably the best Safeway I have been to. But when it comes to pricing, I am shocked by how much higher-priced so many things are, some I compare to Sunshine Foods, a family owned, stand-alone food market : how can they offer better pricing than Safeway, who is a giant buying in such bulk, they can negotiate much better with their vendors? Then I compare to Grocery Outlet - exact items - I am changing my diet so I never have to go to any other grocer

Never gets all of our order right and worse does not notify of substitutions. So now we are stuck with products we cannot use nor are complaints taken well. Wife had to go inside to grab the items that they apparently didn’t have. Not the first time this has happened, just the first mentioning it.

The store on it's own is fine but the grumpy old people made it less than enjoyable. There was a person that was in one of the motorized carts and it broke down and when I offered to get them help, they just grumbled at me like it was my fault. Once we got into line, there were multiple lines being blocked by people clipping coupons, getting dozens of rain checks, and fighting over check amounts.I know Safeway doesn't get to pick thier clients so I really don't blame them, but I would hesitate to go back since the cashier's indicated that this happens often.

Safeway can be a little pricey at times but you can't beat their produce department or their meats / fish. I have used their pharmacy over 4years now, they use much better brands then other places. I don't want to give names that carry the cheapest brands and there is a difference.

Went late at night. We expected people stocking the shelf's. But did not expect such a mess. There was isle's with half eaten food on the floor. The guy that checked us out must have been his first day doing so. Prices where pretty high compared to our usual store

I like the way Safeway has their products grouped together. For instance, I was able to find the fancy cheese near the processed cheese. It saved me time from walking around trying to find the fancy blue cheese. They always have the quick checks open- another time saver!

For the 3rd time now I have purchased milk that is already sour! It has ruined our dinner and forced us to go to another store to purchase “fresh milk”!One time is a mistake or error, 3 times in two weeks is disgusting!!!

A lovely place to buy whatever foods you need and whenever. However the parking lot is sometimes full so you might want to consider that. But, that's not usually a problem. The cakes are great and they have Evey thing from batteries to walnut. The point is you should go to this shop to get what you need when you need it.

They have a lot of organics and the price are cheaper than whole foods. Employees are nice but everyone has a bad once and awhile. I think this is the best big chain grocery store in town!

I wish they had more special promos and perks for members and some attention to handicapped or disabled members and customers, as sometimes they migjt need help with groceriesor finding certain items as well . I love some of the products, and so does my wife.

I want to publicly acknowledge the Safeway Pharmacy staff in Napa. Maria Elena Hurtado & Kathy O’Neill have been extremely patient, kind & helpful on my every visit to this PharmacyMary Elena went out of her way to assist me with a Rx transfer & Kathy often jumps out to the register if the line starts to form. Both employees are Stellar 🌟 & deserve to be recognized for their amazing service🙏🙏🙏I want to add Krista in Customer Service & David at Self-Checkout are also stellar employees - this is a great store

Attempted to stop by the deli at 630am (I made sure to look that it was open and it's open at 6am)We waited at the counter for ten minutes before I asked an employee stocking items if she could please have someone help at the deli.Anabel came out of the back and was not happy. I asked for a breakfast burrito and she said they didn't have any of the items prepared for breakfast burritos.Poor customer service. Don't act inconvenienced by me for asking you to do what you are paid for

Night time checker is very nice, but one employee told me to get out of the self check out lime and fo to.the other lone because I had 20 items after I was already in line for 20 min wasn't very happy but the deli people are awsome and fast

The store has really stepped up it's "sanitary practices".They were well stocked w/ just about everything. Had no problem finding everything on our list.However, the one-way aisle signs are merely a suggestion to some shoppers who will do what they want. While most shoppers wore face coverings, some did not. Don't know what, if anything, can be done about that.

The store is great, but the parking has become impossible is the past couple of years. It used to be my favorite store, and I love going there. But, I often find that it takes as much time to find a space navigate the traffic and pedestrians as it does in the store. Who wants to double their shopping time?

Pretty good Safeway! Starbucks inside and large deli section. I’d say it’s a tad larger than the average Safeway.Only reason for missing a star is that the parking is awful. Practically one direction lanes to get your car parked can be brutal on busy days. Plus the lot competes with the neighboring Ross.

Help for Safeway Safeway is one of the places I shop all the time except for it's a little far away from my house and Lucky's is closer I still prefer to shop at Safeway only because they have 5 of $5 Friday's every week and they're always understanding and kind and they're open 24/7. I'm not a big people person, I don't really like to be out around a whole bunch of people so it's very nice that I can go in there anytime in the middle of the night and go shopping . Plus when I'm shopping I always can find the deals for the next week which I like as well.

Customer service is real low and getting lower every day. In the past two weeks 10 employees quit as of 1/3/2018. If you don't mind long wait times for just about everything from the deli, bakery, to checkout then shop here. Also be prepared for rude employees that don't care about their jobs due to extremely poor store and upper management. This review is from first person perspective, and ex Safeway employee.
