Very unprofessional grooming staff.I have been coming to Petco for years, my dog has an account with them online where his breed is declared (husky).I left work way earlier than my usual shift to drive an hour to the store for the last appointment I could find available online for weeks. I rushed to the appointment being 5 min late due to massive traffic in a small car crash and the groomer told me: he has long hair I don’t have time to groom him so I cancelled the appointment earlier.The worst part is that I got a phone call from them early in the afternoon to confirm his appointment at 4pm.Extremely disappointing service and obviously poor communication between the staff. I ll not come back anymore having lost hours and having asked for a special early afternoon at my work for this appointment. All that for nothing.From the other reviews I read, it seems that the same thing happened many times to other people, the groomer canceling or rushing afternoon appointments to go back home. That seems non professional.Look for better service if you can!

I would like a refund! My poor dog looked horrible the groomer even cut her lashes! I tried to call and ask for a refund and they hung up! Look at the before and after is on the left! Horrible horrible.

I had received a Black Friday email I forgot about until immediately after the transaction was completed. I asked the woman who rang me up if it was too late to get the 25% off and she kindly re-rang the whole thing no problem. I appreciate her doing that.

The girls upfront were amazing. The store was a little hard to get around tons of boxes. Looks like they needed some help putting all that stuff away.

NOT A QUEER FRIENDLY STORE Aggressively transphobic cashiers. Not a safe store for queer people. I don’t usually get upset with misgendering, it happens but after going out of her way to call me a man and “he” you could tell how deliberate it was. When a friend tried to correct on my behalf she got glared at. And then they had the audacity to ask me to sign up for their stupid rewards program.

Staff are friendly and the store is very clean. Lots of healthy looking animals. I will say that checkout is pretty slow, often taking 10+ minutes if there's anyone else in line, which is frequent.

I must say that the Napa store is very pleasant to shop at and they had what I needed. Normally I shop at the Vallejo store because I live in Vallejo, but they didn't have what I needed and no one there cared to go look at their overstock area to see if I could get what's needed, she didn't even try and in my book that's not good customer service. I was told that it "might" be on a pallet in the back, well "I don't might try to feed my dog" and he needed food today! Not maybe tomorrow!So we took that trip to Napa and was able to get the dog food and we found some really cute doggie outfits for October. We loved seeing the cat's up for adoption too and enjoyed shopping in Napa. We love Napa and the citizens of Napa and we feel a lot safer there.

I've taken my pug there for grooming for years and its always been good service. I've taken him to many other groomers and there have never been issues. Last night I had a 6pm appointment for bath and nail trim. The girl in the grooming department called and asked if I could bring him in early, that was fine. Dropped him off at 5pm, she called me back 25 minutes later to say he was finished but didn't like the hair dryer or having his nails done so she couldn't do anything else. So in the end I spent $40 have my dog bathed and pick him up still wet and with no nail service. It seemed to me that the groomer was trying to get out early and did the bare minimum of service. She even told me that in his past notes he's never had any issues. Won't go back.

Most helpful, I'd purchased a cat tree, they helped load it into car, gave my best friend a treat. She was happy. And the cats (4 total) are totally diggin the eight tiers.

Was appalled at the state of the litter boxes for the live cats. Didn't see, but one person who cleaned cages for reptiles, and there was nobody in aquatics. I found what I was looking for eventually, and the cashier acted like she didn't want to be there. The animals at the shelter get better care.

Great staff. There's often hoses and cords all over the floor in the fish area. If you are disabled you can't get around to see the fish. We have been in several times, and they are always there.

Pam and Ciera were the only people there, Pam was at checkout and Ciera was with the fish and other animals she showed me baby guppies and I ended up getting 3 fish I got a full black fish and a full white fish with a baby guppy. Ciera did not take long and I also got my tank water tested for free. Pam and Ciera were so kind and patient. Especially Ciera because fish are hard to catch.

This was a terrible experience but effectively not able to go to many other places to get the brand of kibble my dog needs. I was lucky to be there just for bones so my visit was quick. The place smells like an unkept bird cage. The customer service is resentful of doing their job and are predominantly old and bitter women. I spoke to one young man who was very polite but these three older ladies should be talked to about too much talking on the job. I waited 4 minutes because of a conversation happening with another client and the check out assistant. The clientele felt like I was at Walmart.

Great Customer service. Helped select correct size collar and harness. Decent selection of dog products, food and toys. Also has sections for Cat, birds, fish and other fury friends. Store is pet friendly with leash. Has accident station.
