Had a bad vibe from cashier lady(caucasian) . She Was snickering with bagging lady (caucasian)and exchanging looks . So we pay with food stamps and it seemed to have bothered the cashier lady that we were using food stamps and we are Mexican so she charged my wife’s debit card instead of using food stamps never returned our greetings and just completely presented herself as rude .Good thing my wife is very cautious with transactions and immediately noticed the error in the receipt as we were leaving. Went inside and communicated the issue with management . It was determined that ever single item had to be rescanned wich took some time and no one was able too find out why there was a mixup .as the bagging lady had to rebag every item again she passively aggressively bagged our food again crushing cupcakes and fruit in the process But without saying we all seemed to realize the cashier lady intentionally used my wife's debit card instead of food stamps .to prevent us from using our food stamps benefits We felt very strongly that this was intentionally done by the cashier lady for racist purposes . In my opinion any employee who excersises racial favoritism should be fired immediately. My wife and i are a little disturbed that we were treated like this in a luckys store when weve been here hundreds of times before

Easy parking. Smaller store on Trancas makes it easy and fast to get in and get out. Love love their sandwiches. Either order or pre made sandwiches are great. Deli is fantastic. Meat department couldn't be nicer.

Like other reviewers have mentioned: general spices and Asian flavors isles are very lacking. This place is well laid out and has some of the best chicken salad I’ve ever come across. It’s rare to see long lines and it’s always felt like such an easy in-and-out experience. My goto grocery store.

Prefer economy groceries, in town, friendly, cleaner, better pricing. This "Lucky" chain is not a fav.some egg cartons outdate quickly, peanut butter selections are limited with oily tyes on shelf not mixing welly and separating easily. Could not find fresh gluten free bread with limited bread types and higher pricing than groceries with more floor space and more volume, lower pricing.Other stores have fresher eggs, such as trader joes, with better egg prices. Safeway has more types of lactose free milk. Whole foids has better ground chuck and healtjier sausage prepared daily.Ice cream cones at lucky ae ususLly limited to ones with peanuts pn top even though ones without peanuts were requested.Chickens are not baked long enough and drumsticks on baked chicken are partially raw at napa store, bright red inside and one had bloody leg bones with psrtially baked white meat so partially cpoked i hsd to cook it more at home, and selling for 9 dollars firxa very small chicken.Nov, 2022.

Terrible fruits and vegetables. They should throw him out and not sell them. A lot of their meat they sell is Brown/old. Their dairy products are only good for a week should be good for 2 weeks. The store has gone so downhill!

Great grocery store. Plenty of parking and well lit at night. Very helpful and courteous staff, plus the prices are very competitive. The store is always clean and the deli has a wide variety. Their sandwiches are fantastic. All and all, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

There is a cute little sandwich fairy working here in the deli who is single-handedly shaming Subways out of existence. She knows her worth and is just really, really good at her job or should I say art? Napa is a crazy overpriced tourist pit but every once and awhile you get lucky and find a, well, Lucky's. Go for a fresh made sub and stay for the reasonably priced groceries. Or you can take your chances and spend a lot more anywhere else on Trancas. I have already done that so listen to your old Aunt CeCe and be happy and have money leftover to put in your pocket.

Great store. Really good selection of hard to find spices. Cleanly kept. And not really ever crowded. Friendly team. Also, walking distance to Starbucks which is right next door.

I was using the do it yourself register and encountered a problem, the clerk who takes care of that section was having a long conversation with a customer, not about help, a woman's conversation, it seemed. I had to signal the customer that I neede assistance, the personal clerk had her back to me. It took several minutes before the clerk came to help, not good.

I like the one on California Blvd more than than this one, but it's still Lucky. They have a great Chinese food take out service there. . It's called Panda Express. A lot of food and it's very inexpensive. I like their self checkout.

Lucky's on California Blvd is the one I usually go to. What I like about this store, it's kinda on same though prosess as Valliga's, and they open at 6am and close at 12am. Another service I really like is their self checkout. They also offer rewards. I'm a morning person, so 6am opening is a great great hour, even on the weekends.

The store was pretty quiet, that was to be expected during this Corona crisis. The checker had absolutely no interest in her job or being there. What has happened to customer service. It just doesn't exist anymore.

Under rated Napa supermarket. Skip the parking lot cluster *** at TJs and Whole Paycheck, both jokes for stores. Lucky is spacious, well priced, superb quality and selection. Hard to understand the appeal of the other stores. I won't even fight the parking lot.

Why are there workers in the store that are working less than half the speed of others. They are not wearing Lucky uniforms, they don't talk to you and they are very, very slow in stocking and even walking. Do they even check groceries. Union grocery clerks have worked long and hard to get the benefits that these unclean, lazy slow moving workers don't understand.

Drove past the sign that says Lucky on it and went into the building that said Lucky on it with all the carts that say Lucky on them and tried to use my Lucky gift card and was told it was not a Lucky, then printed me a receipt that said Lucky on it three times.

I sometimes stop in an hour or so before closing. Napa Walmart has notoriously slow checkout lanes but around the same time here, there is never a wait at Lucky's. Self checkout remains an option most of the day as well. The store itself has a strange layout with the deli and meat counters so far apart but there have always been store associates to help me locate things.
