We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Rooms are clean and had everything we needed. Matt shared ideas with us on places to go, things to do, visit and eat. We were able to go to many of the groves, neighboring towns, do some shopping, eat good food, see the black beach at Shelters Cove and even drove through a couple of trees. Our time was very relaxing. We picked up sandwiches one night at the Redwoods Market and Deli across the street and enjoyed sitting out on the deck outside our room drinking coffee. Wi-Fi is spotty but we found that to be the case all up Hwy 101 so we knew what to expect. We would highly recommend this place and everyone should see the redwoods. We would definitely go back.

Phones were down for a few days while I was trying to make reservations, so I sent in an email. Worked with Amy via email to confirm my stay. She was incredibly nice accommodating and understanding. I let her know that we would be arriving pretty late and that was no problem with her at all. When we got there the young man at the front desk was incredibly nice and knowledgeable everything was super quick, which with three small boys I was very thankful for. So customer service A++The lodge was cute and welcoming just like the room. It’s it’s obviously not your typical hotel it’s more of like a bed-and-breakfast. The room was spacious and cozy. We had a king size bed plus a twin and a rollaway for the boys. Our bed it was incredibly comfortable it reminded us of back home. The bathroom was big enough, and I love that the shower had an extendable shower head.There is a coffee shop and a small market across the street (my husband thinks that the coffee at the lodge was better than the one across the street :D ). We were able to get our coffee fix the next morning and buy a few food items for the road.All in all it was a great experience and if ever in the area again I would not hesitate to book another stay.

We were very late checking in. The young host was very courteous and placed an additional roll away bed in our room. The king sized bed was amazing - my wife and I had the best sleep. We also loved the cozy “old style” interior decorating and atmosphere. Breakfast was included even though. The coffee machine was set to go - all we had to do is push the button for a fresh brewed cup. We had an awesome stay and put it on my favourite list - hope to come back again. I wish we could have thanked our host in person but we left an “old fashion, hand written note” instead - hopefully you could decipher my terrible hand writing. Thank you again for a great experience and hospitality.

Very nice gentleman (Matt) and staff let me check in well past midnight while I was on a coast to coast trip. Nice people and I appreciate them a whole bunch, slept great, seriously one of the most comfy beds I slept in the whole trip. Moreover, I really needed to stop because my neck started hurting from driving too long. Very quiet too for being right near the road (just far enough way but not too close really!), I really don't recall anything waking me at all. Thank you again, if I'm ever way out that way I'll try to stop by again!

Thank you very much for an amazing stay!The owner made me feel as if I had stepped right back into my own living room, not only was he super welcoming and happy to help with my laundry but was extremely knowledgeable with local great hiking and food recommendations.Location is great, people come from all over the world to stay in the Redwoods as i did, this in an exceptional launching pad for any Humboldt Redwood adventure!Thanks once again.

I had a very pleasant overnight here. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, down to earth, and hospitable. The room itself was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was fresh cooked to order. The views in the area are not to be missed. If you want to go see the redwoods, this is the way to do it.

Great service. Homemade breakfast. Owner /operator was super cool, friendly and laid back. His place was so interesting and the history is wonderful. There is some old time decor which lends itself to imagining some unusual things. But, that could be because of the "Annabelle" like dolls in the glass-doored hall closets which freaked me out. Still, a cool place to stay.

Inn needs repair and smells of cat liter boxes. Carpets need cleaning. Website says breakfast but we told that they don't do so we had to go to an overpriced market across the street to find something. Inn was overpriced. TV did not work and internet was slow and spotty. Feel bad because this place has potential if some money was put into it.

Myers Inn came to the rescue!!! I am from the Sac area. My husband is a truck driver and broke down, I had to bring him a part, it took me 8 hours to get to him. It’s only a 4 hour drive it was 10:30pm when I reached my husband and was going to have to stay in my husbands big rig with him and my son. TMI alert that means I would not have a restroom to use, we would be squished in the beds ( it has bunk bed), and in the morning no coffee or food other than the snacks we got from the gas station it could be hour before I found a place for coffee or food because we have to make sure the big rig is in great running order before it gets back on the road. But thanks to Matt we have the most adorable room, my son has his own bed, my husband was able to shower after working on his truck and best of all I have a restroom to use and coffee for me and cereal (no breakfast because of COVID but normally he does do breakfast) for my son in the morning. I really can’t express how happy I am. Thank you so very much Matt!!! We will be back with the whole family and I’m sure we will make it a regular thing to come stay here.

Matt (Owner) and family were GREAT hosts! The location of this inn is by far one of the best. Within only two days I was able to experience a variety of different trails, landscapes, and natures true beauty. If it were possible to over rate a business I would easily give a rating of 10/5, also the provided breakfast was phenomenal! Thank You!

I ended up staying here out of an emergency. I walked in the door to Myers Inn with 2 kids in tow, 1 sick. I was in tears. I was met by the most amazing hospitality I’ve run across. The kindness and gentleness of both Matt and his children was a refreshing change of pace. If I could have frozen time, we would have stayed forever that time.

Interesting place! Very family friendly. The owner was very friendly and down to earth. It was a very old building, and some of the paint/decor could use some freshing up, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great.

I want to come back!! Great place!! For the peace and quiet I would even pay more.. The owner opened his home to make this wonderful bed and breakfast. Its got a great old timey feel too it ..and out on the porch looking out at the beautiful gardens and the peace and quiet... Never been to another experience like it..

Right at the entrance to the Ave. of the Giants, Myers Inn was comfortable and cozy. 2nd floor wrap-around balcony is shared between all rooms, but still a nice place to relax. Got a good deal on the room. If we weren't on a schedule we might have extended our stay.

Happened upon this jewel when heading S on Ave of Giants and it was getting late, so decided to check in out. Fabulous view from balcony of tree tops moon and stars. Only regret is got there late and left early after terrific breakfast included with stay.

We loved the porch right off the room! Comfortable clean rooms and a great breakfast. We only stayed for one night but I wish we could have stayed longer.
