Don’t hesitate book with this place now! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is right next to the Avenue of the Giants and a few other great spots and only a short drive to everything else you’d want to see while visiting. We stayed in the dog friendly cabin with a family of four and had ample space and it was super cozy! The campground itself is lovely and well kept with access to the river and other campsite activities. We will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful little campground overlooking the Eel River. It was winter so we couldn’t enjoy the river but the location was great for visiting the nearby state, parks and towns. The staff here are friendly, helpful, and efficient, and knowledgeable about the area. The bathroom and shower area was always very clean and I was grateful for the heated area around the shower and continuous hot water. We will definitely stay there again.

I stayed in a pull through RV spot with a 31 foot RV and tow vehicle. I arrived after closing that staff still helped me find the best spot. This is an older campground just off Hwy 101. I expected noise but didn't hear anything. Things are a little worn but well cared for. I love that the sites are not laid out in rows like a parking lot. The road winds through the beautiful trees and sites are randomly placed. There is what looks to be a great playground. I didn’t play in it. I didn’t use the laundry or the bathroom. I would definitely stay again

My wife and I took a 2 month trip in our RV and booked Giant Redwoods for 4 nights. We ended up staying 12 nights. The facility is beyond clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and you couldn't ask for a better view of the river. I hope to make it back soon and would highly recommend this park to anyone. Thank you for the great time we had there.

This RV park is in a beautiful setting on the Eel river. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the neighborhood before you drive into the park is basically a few blocks of broken down cars, RVs, junk and garbage which made us a little nervous. The RV park is gated and has security cameras with monitors so that helped us feel better when we got there. Very clean, large spots and nice amenities. Would stay here again!

If Chris is still the owner then this will always be top rated. We stayed here 3 months right after Chris bought the place and he had already cleaned the place up and put a new fence around it. My truck broke down as I pulled in and had it towed to eureka. Chris took us grocery shopping. We were headed to Montana when the pandemic hit and our first night was in the giant redwoods RV park and all our reservations got cancelled all the way to Montana. Vicky and Robert were the managers then. We ended up staying 7 months due to the pandemic. You can't go wrong staying in this campground right in the heart of the redwoods. Top notch campgrounds and people.William and Annee Floyd

We stayed with our travel trailer for one night. Our space was near the river access and had water and electric connections. Sewer connects are available, but those sites were occupied. Our site was pleasant with more space than the usual full hookup type. Bathrooms were very clean, grounds were tidy, without losing the forest feel. Groundskeepers were available. I would really recommend it for a family experience. Paved roads were nice for young bikers, nice playground, river area nearby.. But no lifeguard and current always different depending on rainfall.. As with any river. There were lots of children, but never disruptive and very quiet at night.

Giant Redwoods RV is one of our favorite camping spots by far! The location is absolutely gorgeous. The campground is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hostesses that run it are so friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are modern and always clean. They also allow pets. And the best part is it sits on the Eel River which provides a great opportunity for swimming, floating, kayaking or even paddle boarding. This is our ideal place for a home away from home!

This is a beautifully kept park in a stunning riverside location. Owners are friendly and helpful. Good bathrooms and laundry. Unfortunately Myers Flat is very run down and there is little to do. I did hike along the riverbank but got told off by a local character!! Site was quiet in April and we would have stayed a few nights but $80/ night is a bit rich for us

The campground is in a beautiful setting, right by the Eel River, and in the midst of the redwoods. We chose a site under the redwoods and it's beautiful. Because it's midweek, it's quiet and so peaceful here. The staff has been very helpful and friendly, and that's always nice. The wi-fi is one of the best that we've seen in an RV park, which is one of the reasons we chose this park. Although this is our first trip in our new RV, we've been staying in RV parks for years, in cabins and rental RVs. They often tell you they have wi-fi, but don't tell you it only works at the office, or their bandwidth is inadequate for more than one or two campers at a time, etc. When I called for the reservation, I was told the wi-fi was good and there was a repeater right at our spot, so we made the reservation. Much to our delight, it works as we were told, and we're very happy about that. They have a choice of hook-ups, and we chose just to get water &electricity this time so we could be under the redwoods. Next time we might try a pull-through instead of a back-in, but that's just a personal preference from new RVers as the back-in sight is beautiful, if a bit more work than a pull through. The employees work hard to keep this park nice and it shows. The bathrooms and showers are well stocked and clean, the site was immaculate when we arrived, and employees are visible and helpful while working hard to keep the campground looking good and functioning well. Overall, it's a nice park and it's now in our RV travel logbook as one we would like to visit again.

EXCELLENT CAMPGROUND!1. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Michael and Kim (managers) are wonderful at their jobs! They keep the place running smooth and are strict about their rules to ensure everyone has a great stay. They also provide solutions for ways to allow campers to enjoy their stay. One rule was no attaching to trees so we had to take down our hammock. But they supplied a free standing hammock to us at no charge!!! Most places would upcharge for this which gives the optics of this rule only existing to increase revenue. They also care about the community of Meyers Flat and know that this business is vital to support this community!2. Sites are beautiful. They offer river front (gorgeous view of river and forest), pull through, and under the trees (our favorite). Pull through sites are a bit cramped.3. Eel river access was a major draw for us. Short walk to the beach from the camp and they don't allow general public access to this site. Felt very private and not crowded. If you float down for about 30 min you'll encounter a perfect tree to jump from into the water. Very fun and deep water when we were there in July.4. They offer live music which some in our group were not fans of, but it did offer a nice vibe through the park (folk style music). I enjoyed it.5, Great snack bar on site too! Small store that offers ice and wood. (they are a bit pricy in my opinion, but hey it's Meyers flat, not a lot of options around.)6. Clean bathrooms and showers! (Your fees cover the shower which is great!) It's a clear money grab when sites charge you your fees then nickel and dime for showers.7. Laundry on site, for coin op. Nice touch.8. They offer volleyball site which we played at every night! Horseshoe pit too! They will check out the equipment needed too, all included.All staff encountered were very professional and friendly. This is a gem of a campground and we'd definitely return to this site!Hanna was so helpful in helping us find two spots that were adjacent to our friends. Very nice touch!This is a great spot! Please consider booking your stay from these experienced camping families! Have a great grip and don't let the last half mile to the site detour you. It's a depressed economy and that shows, but this island of paradise is well worth it! Take a look at the photos we added!Thanks again Kim and Michael! (Ask about Kim's pet bird too!}

This is my second time staying here in a cabin. My two boys and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable like last time. I was thankful for the air conditioning. The day we got there it was really hot. I loved driving, hiking, and exploring along Avenue of the Giants. The redwoods are so grand and majestic, I didn't want to leave!! I took many photos as I'm a photographer.We had our own private bathroom, which was very clean and new looking. I went to the office to buy laundry detergent and get quarters to do a load of laundry. Everything worked and was very convenient.I would recommend staying here for a relaxing, peaceful time among the redwoods!

Beware owner reserves the right to lock you in or out between the hours of 10pm-8am. Sounds like a tenancy law and fire safety issue/violation. Heaven forbid an emergency happens.Management was very rude, this declaration was given to us after grandma got in trouble for giving her grandchildren a ride to a cabin on the resort around 1030pm. Apparently quiet hours means no vehicles are permitted to be turned on (not specifed however in the rules) . It was really a shame. There were several aggressive encounters with Management during our 4 day stay. It was borderline harassment- to an elderly couple even!Location is great, but staff spoiled our experience even after several cordial attempts to resolve issues. I don't recommend staying here. We traveled over 48 hours to have a once in a lifetime experience with our family and it could have been a lot better had we chosen a different rv park. Reserve at our own risk.Updated to respond to owner.Reviews are not limited to registered guests. I had serieveral interactions with your staff and 3 familial reservation in your park. We are acquainted and qualified to review. Non residents did not gather on your property. We gathered on private property nearby but apparently that was unacceptable to you. I understand your rules and the reasons and we were in full support of complying; the issue was simply the communication and rudeness of staff. The rules also kept evolving- as in "your driving too much".

Beautiful location!!Nestled amidst the amazing Redwoods, this RV park offers a truly enchanting retreat for nature lovers. The warm and hospitable staff immediately make you feel at home, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.The park has a variety of spacious site options to suit your preferences. Whether you prefer the convenience of pull-thru sites with full hook-ups or back-in sites with water and electric connections, you're sure to find the perfect spot for your RV. Additionally, they have a convenient dump station within the park ensures a hassle-free stay.For those who want connectivity, the Wi-Fi, while not lightning-fast, is enough to stay in touch with the world. But with such a stunning natural backdrop, its hard not to want to disconnect and enjoy the view. For those who want outdoor activities, they have a variety of options, Volleyball, tetherball, badminton, horseshoe pits, corn hole toss, and Saturday night family movie night under the stars with concession stand snacks.This pet-friendly park does have a dedicated dog park, providing ample space for your pets to play and make new friends. There's plenty of open area both inside and beyond the park boards for leisurely dog walks. In addition, the park offers all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay. From the convenient laundry facility to the charming gift shop. There are also a couple of small convent stores nearby, and a couple of food choices, but not really a place for strolling around town for the day.The surrounding area has plenty of exploration opportunities; the iconic Avenue of the Giants, Humboldt Redwoods State Park, the Shrine Drive-thru tree, the world famous Grandfather tree, the breathtaking Redwood skywalk, and the fascinating gravity defying spots of Confusion Hill. If you're looking for some quirky fun, there are nearby sasquatch-themed shops. **There is a private beach, but due to the concerns about the toxicity of the water we didn't go in or let our dogs go in.This place was a great stop to enjoy the awe-inspiring Redwoods!

So happy I found this place. Exactly what I was looking for to kick off the summer. This campground is so beautiful, very clean and friendly staff. Sites are a mix of grass and gravel. We have a nice shaded spot with the playground right behind us..and river across... perfect for us with 2 young boys.It's been very peaceful.. quiet, respectful guests. It's on the Eel River with private beach access. It's been a great experience. We can't wait to go explore the Redwoods.Giant Redwoods will be a yearly trip for sure!- 4 happy campers
