Love this small hardware store. They have a lot of what you wouldn’t think they would have. I could come here every day! Staff is very helpful and each time I’ve come, they have what I need. From electric blower to premixed fuels for gas powered tools, landscape materials and parts for small powered tools. They have cute gifts, candy for the little ones (or for us adults with a sweet tooth) it’s such a quaint little store I wish there were more of these and less Home Depot’s no offense Home Depot. I just prefer the mom and pop businesses better.

Neat old fashion family owned hardware store. They specialize in heating stoves and have a nice selection of Lodge cast iron cookwareThey also have typical hardware selections, electrical, paint, tools, plumbing and specialty hardware, LED bulbs. Neat fun stuff for your home or cabin. Case pocket knives, slingshots, targets fishing rods, tackle, stuff this once young boy loved and still does and thinks it belongs in a hardware store..Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are mostly family.

I've only been a short time customer since moving to the Murphys area in the spring of 19, and the store has always been equipped with the merchandise and materials I've needed for my weekend projects.I would highly recommend The Red Store where they make you feel like family.

I ordered replacement glass for my door in Camp Connell, and these guys did exactly what they said they would do, and on-time! I find this unusual for most vendors in Calaveras County, especially with us non-locals. The guys from the Red Store knew what they were doing and were very efficient! A job well done!!

Visited today looking for some Manzanita plants. Did not find the variety we were interested in purchasing, but did find several metal yard decorations and a hummingbird wind mill. Staff is very friendly and well informed about item and plants they carry and sell. We received a discount on our items which made our visit to Murphys from Copperopolis a trip worth taking.

The Red Store has a lot of stuff in it. Very handy in Murphys. Can often save a trip into Angels Camp or Sonora by checking here first.
