Had a great time getting some coffee and breakfast first, then shopping around and finding great gifts in the shop. In the afternoon we picked up some wine bottles and relaxed in the courtyard near the other shops! Would definitely recommend checking out The Power Plant Coffee whenever you’re in Moss landing! Also dog friendly :)

Headed out early to get breakfast before chasing butterflies. The atmosphere is beautiful and tranquil. There are various areas to sit, indoor and outdoor. With such a nice day, we decided to sit in the outside store.I ordered the seasonal Golden Milk Latte, which has turmeric and ginger. I was curious to try and was surprisingly content. The flavors were not so pungent that it would make the drink unlikable.I also ordered the breakfast sandwich, and it wasn't as impressive as the coffee.I would skip the sandwich for another breakfast item OR a pastry item next time. It's definitely an experience if in the area.

A cafe straight out of a solarpunk fantasy. The Power Plant sources their pastries and breads from local bakeries; you'll see those displayed near the front entrance. As you head towards the back of the store, you might notice racks of preserves from Gizdich Ranch, wines from California vineyards, and the like. The shelves snake around the indoor seating area and give way to a greenhouse-esque boutique filled with all kinds of plants. Every green thing that isn't bolted to the walls is up for sale.

The lemon poppyseed muffin was amazing!!! I also got the avocado toast and a cafe au lait and both were so yummy. The coffee was strong and tasty and their avocado was so fresh!!The plants made the atmosphere so fun. Definitely would come here just to plant shop . We came around 7:45am and no one was here. The music was good too btw

Really cool cafe right off PCH. Great coffee, good service and amazing looking treats in the case. We had a cinnamon roll that was one of the best I've ever had. Options for more substantial breakfast and lunch.Cafe shares space with a sustainability store with great atmosphere for seating with your coffee.

Impressive place - they've got it all correct! Great coffee, excellent service & zen-like ambiance!! Guess they can give Starbucks a run for their...bucks 😎 One can really spend hours at this place, its full of plants... a great play of words, and a whimsical take upon a backdrop of a real, industrial power plant scene!! Thumbs up to the awesome staff. Haven't had such smooth & strong cappuccino in a really long time! Highly recommend - Collect your 'Power' ups here & proceed to Victory!!!

Absolutely love this place! Super aesthetic and tranquil vibes. The baristas were so sweet and friendly. You can order your coffee and look at all the plants and other stuff they sell. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!!

Took 30 minutes to get 2 drinks. Online says they have raspberry syrup and smoothies when I asked for them the person said they don’t carry it anymore then ordered their special and a white mocha. Tasted just like plain oat milk lattes. Paid $23 horrible experience. When finally handed my drink I asked for a lid and sleeve and the barista rudely pointed to the entrance. Their shop is worth going but not their coffee. Never coming here again.

Good coffee, tasty food, and an exceptionally friendly staff. The owner was also very nice. They have a farmers market on saturdays with not only farmers but also a selection of local artisans! It worth a stop.

This place is SO COOL! I went in for a quick coffee before a whale watching tour and am glad we did. Thru the back it has the most amazing sitting area/shop that I never knew was there. I could literally bring a book and sit there all day. The greenery is incredible and all the plants are a delight to take in. I had a Latte with hazelnut and vanilla and it was VERY good. I can't wait to go back and next time stay longer :)

Great coffee shop located off of Highway 1 in Moss Landing. The decor both inside and outside is amazing and also self-explanatory. Currently, only one side of the coffee shop is being used - where you order coffee and food. They also sell coffee beans and locally handmade artisan soaps, jams, etc. The other side, which I’m assuming is going to be where all the tables and chairs are, is currently not being used probably due to the pandemic. The workers are great and efficient. Came here with a group of friends and ordered a variety of coffee and food from their menu. I got the mocha and it was great - not too sweet, not too chocolatey. I also got their coffee cake and lox sandwich - both tasted amazing.Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would come back here again.

I was taking my mom to a whale watch trip. We had some time and did not eat breakfast so decided to try this place. The prices looked fairly reasonable until I got to the place to order. My mom and I ordered the breakfast sandwich for 10 bucks. Looking at the menu before we went all the prices said 6.00...I thought it was reasonable...well that's for sure an old menu..they raised the prices 3.00 and you literally get less than one whole slice of bacon.Your better off looking for a Starbucks and ordering their breakfast sandwich. A lot cheaper and you get more meat or even McDonald's.The lady at the counter was not very friendly or helpful. Don't waste your money...its not worth what they charge. If you buy coffee like a mocha...thats 6.00 plus they have the audacity to charge an extra 1.00...YES FOLKS...ONE DOLLAR FOR WHIP CREAM...JUST A TOTAL RIP OFF.

The lady in the merchandise area was extremely kind. Friendly smile and welcoming greeting. I enjoyed browsing and smelling the soaps and candles. I regret not buying an item besides coffee! The cafe on the other hand, with the unfriendly and abrupt cashier, gave me the opposite decision to never come back. Pretentious, sharp, and exceptionally rude. I ordered a cold brew and wanted a pastry but her attitude veered me to get out of there asap.

Good coffee and cool plant shop attached. Definitely on the pricier side for food, but was pretty good. On Saturdays in the summer they have vendors out front selling delicious foods (bread, almonds, etc.) Overall worth a stop if passing through and want a coffee.

Stopping on the way from the Bay area to Big Surr, this place was perfect. My partner needed a place to take a work call, and though it was a bit too loud for that, the atmosphere was awesome. We didn't end up getting any coffee, but I bought a bottle of wine - the shop has it's own in-house sommelier! The food looked great, but can't comment personally on that. My main take away was: cool vibe, lots of purchasing options, fun plants & decor, and cool employees: the barista even commented on the book I was reading, The Pearl! *SPOILER* I will say, the barista did say it was a lighter book for Steinbeck, but a baby gets poisoned in the first 3 pages! What! Anyway, you should go here!

I used to love this place. The last few times has been disappointing. Today the was the last time I will ever go back. I ordered my food 20 mins in advance, I was running to an appointment. I walked in to no line and 4 people staring at me. I asked if they had my order, they printed it out and handed it off as I stood there. No sense of urgency.. then I got my food and it was the worse. Brown avocado, mushy tomato’s and wilted produce. I’m sad my journey here is over.

Good coffee and had some of their baked good. High end place with a boutique on one side. The man that took my order was a bit of a snob and condescending which is why I’m giving less stars. The menu had categories that read as “chais and macchiatos, lattes and mochas” so I asked if they had a caramel macchiato since I was craving something sweet. He sarcastically said “like the Starbucks drink?” Caramel macchiatos are not exclusive to Starbucks. Plus he didn’t need to be a jerk. The menu did not specify what type of macchiatos they offer. If they don’t want questions then their menu should be more specific. He ended up suggesting a vanilla latte (which I guess they had and apparently is not considered a “Starbucks drink”). I drove all the way from Watsonville just to check this place out and I will think twice before stopping again because of the jerk behind the counter.

Everything about this place is delightful from the decor to the coffee and food to the plants and gifts available in the shop. Friendly service and everything is locally sourced. Definitely a great place to go with a friend or even your kids for a little date.
