Fresh fried rockfish and great shrimp ceviche, amazing view of the slough at an affordable price - great place to chow down after an afternoon kayaking and fighting the spring winds and ogling at the abundant wildlife.Vegetarian options: They have some salad options

Tucked away lovely seafood place between Santa Cruz and Monterey. We ordered at the counter, sat down at the table and waited for our food. Seafood options were plenty and they were accommodating to extra requests.I got a shrimp burrito and asked for it to be on a plate without the tortilla, shrimp was fresh and delicious. We also tried the fish and chips, the fish itself was very good but the oil used to fry it was not great, so the fried layer and the fries were less than average. The clam chowder also left room to be desired. I got some cleaning spray in my wine glass by accident and they happily changed it for me (great service!).The ambience and foggy northern California scenery was very inviting and we'll be back to try other items on the menu.

Fun little place right on the water where you can eat phenomenal fish n’ chips, have a bottle of wine, and watch the otters, seals, and birds! They have indoor and deck seating.Kid-friendliness: Big deck tables for families who want to spread out

Top notch seafood, fresh and fried options. Options on choice of fish for each dish including halibut. Reasonable pricing considering the portions and quality. We got our food fast and the staff was eager to help. Good options for outdoor and indoor seating, all with views.Parking: Huge lot meant for more than just the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps located around the right and back of building, only needed for ordering or inside seating

I love this place. You get a decent sized portion and views overlooking the slough/harbor. Not to mention, the food is usually pretty good. I’ve been 3 times now. My tried and true are the scallops and fries, but for this trip I was feeling a fish taco. Price was great, I actually liked their slaw (which I usually don’t like slaw), and it was hot and fresh. If there’s one thing I would change would be just a bit more flavor in the batter (the fish taco batter! Scallop batter is just dandy)

Great staff taking orders with a friendly greeting as you walk in. Decent menu selection. The restaurant is right on the harbor, so the views are great. Just make sure when you eat on the patio you have proper attire because the breeze from the ocean gets chilly at times. The food was delicious. The bread bowl and clam chowder was much needed. They have 2 size options for the bread bowl so you can have a side of soup or a full meal as soup. I also had the shrimp burrito and I'd get it again. No complaints. Fantastic location. Great staff.Quick side note: if you use Google maps it ends the route on highway 1 instead of taking you to the parking lot. It's an easy lot to see, but just be aware of driving south on hwy1. (I'm from Iowa. I need Google maps here)

Craving some seafood after a day on the beaches. Ordered the fried combo (shrimp, fish and squid) $20. The fry coating was crispy and light, juicy shrimp, nice firm fish and the squid was very nice, not "fishy" with an almost Cajun tasting coating. The fries were crispy perfection. This was too much fry for this guy. Not their fault but I had to dump half of it, fried seafood does not make good leftovers. Was there a smaller option? The coleslaw did not do it for me, it was dull. I like more vinegar zing and a little sweeter. Maybe I got the last of the batch from a few days ago?Great seating options, you can go full-on Goldilocks here. You can sit inside or on the covered deck or out in the open air next to the water. What ever you want it will be "just right" for you.Nice staff and lots of parking. If I came again I would get the grilled seafood or chowder if it's a chilly day.

As a vegetarian I wasn't extremely hopeful, but I was happy to see artichoke basket appetizer in the veggie burger entree. I ordered the veggie burger. Expecting a black bean or from Frozen. Patty and was thrilled to see a beyond burger patty and a delicious looking burger with some tasty garlic fries next to it. The burger was amazing and hit the spot on this windy rainy afternoon.

This restaurant was a nice surprise. We weren't expecting much but the seafood was of good quality. We tried the halibut sandwich, calamari and chips and got a couple drinks. I prefer the thin, curly calamari, but the squid was still good. The french fries were crispy and tasty - would come here just for that. The patio area was lovely to hang out in - no fishy odors from the harbor wafting through when we were there. I would dine there again, a much calmer option than the other popular seafood restaurant nearby, with a nice view to boot.

It's definitely worthy of a stop during your road trip. If you're from out of the area you will appreciate the food more than we did because we are spoiled :) Atmosphere is great, service is wonderful food is good. Pricing is about right for the area and the competition. Easy to park and get on and off the highway, fabulous views of the slough. A nice replacement for a very popular seafood restaurant that closed in Moss Landing recently.

View is beautiful!!! Right on the water. Outdoor seating so you can bring your dog which is always a plus!Food was mediocre though. Not impressed. Got the paella and it wasn't what I expected. It was basically a curry soup with seafood in it. Not much rice. Very disappointed for paying almost $30.You order your food at the counter and they give you a pager to pick it up when your order is ready.Bathrooms were clean at least!

Nice local gem off of hwy 1. Generous portions of comfort food with a nice view of the moss landing river and marina. The staff was very friendly, price was reasonable and overall a fun time for the whole family. There was a seagull on the patio, probably hoping for scrpas though I like to think it was greeting us to its neighborhood.

Right off the highway by the bridge, with a large parking lot for boat trailers. This is a great location for eating fresh seafood right by the boats that brought it in. Food is refreshing and made to order. It's a favorite family stop. They also have gluten free options like the grilled fish tacos. You can get four of the same tacos, or a combo with four different seafood options. Indoor and outdoor seating options. It's fun to spot some sea otters while dining too.

This was the second time we've eaten here, the first was a year ago with our dog, so dog friendly. It's a seafood restaurant specializing in all local, fresh caught seafood. If you want something else, you can get a burger, but why stop at a seafood restaurant for that? There are several other restaurants nearby if seafood isn't your thing.I had the grilled shrimp and my wife had the tacos. Both were prepared perfectly. This is not adventurous cuisine, just straight up, well-prepared, fresh seafood. And very tasty. We ate on the deck right over the water. Sea lions and harbor seals are local residents and can be spotted on occasion along with a myriad of birds. Local tours of Elkhorn Slough are available nearby as well as beaches. Bring the kids and the dogs and your grandma too.Given that this is fresh caught seafood, the prices are pretty reasonable.

Lovely spot on a nice day for a beautiful view and decent food. They are currently closed (Dec 2020), I was there in November and it was great. There’s a parking lot right off the highway though a bit scary to get across when going north. It had patio seating that was distanced. Phenomenal views of the bay with the occasional sea lion and otter floating by the patio that hangs over the water. All food was counter order and had a limited menu. The staff was very friendly. I had a salad with shrimp and a clam chowder. The shrimp were quite large and tasty. It came with a decent portion of lettuce and had dressing on the side. The clam chowder was excellent.I’d like to check this place out post-pandemic to see if they have a full menu as well. Really lovely spot to go after a nice hike at the Elkhorn Slough Reserve.

We loved the food we got at Sea Harvest last week. We did rockfish tacos & calamari sandwich with a cup of clam chowder. They also had a good beer selection. This place isn't fancy by any means but I love businesses that put local art on the wall! Definitely recommend you giving this place a try :)

Calamari and chips was delicious, fries are a little bit salty but that's okay. Upgraded french fries to the cajun fries, also ordered two bowls of clam chowder which was decent, tried the deep fried artichokes and would never order them again. It just didn't have much flavor. Would definitely go back next time we visit this area. The calamari are sliced like little steaks and not the ends and pieces.

Excellent quality, food and service for the price. Great location, plenty of seating and satisfied with everything we have ordered. Oysters fresh, clam chowder thick and creamy, shimp burritos tasty, fish & chips high quality, and their grilled 4 fish taco combo outstanding. Highly recommended & worth a minute drive just past Moss Landing.

It's been a long time since I have eaten in Moss Landing.First up a most amazing IPA from Belching Beaver Brewing, if you haven't tried a Phantom Bride, it's about time you did. Then some Fish and Chips. You get a choice of Chips - regular or Cajun. I opted for the Cajun Chips and I was glad I did.
