One of the most idyllic spots I have ever stayed in. The entire place is extremely well decorated and charming. The garden in the back is so peaceful and gorgeous. The breakfast and free drinks/cookies were a plus. My room had an inviting fire place and small patio. Truly everything you could ask for and the staff was so gracious and kind as well. A very memorable stay.

I just can't say enough about the beauty of this Inn.The 2brm master suite is a gem. Well decorated, immaculately clean and so beyond comfortable. Our breakfasts were delivered every morning..a feast to begin our day.Exploring the Cypress forest, all the way to the cliffs with my 86 year old Mom, is a memory I will treasure forever.I must acknowledge and give thanks to the wonderful Inn Keepers Sharon, Sue & Kathy. Your kindness did not go unnoticed by my family. You made our stay truly unforgettable. We thank you and look forward to our next visit.

We've been here on several occasions throughout the years. We always enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We always get a first floor garden view room. The ability to open the doors for a nice breeze or to hear the ocean is a nice option. Would not hesitate to book again if we're in the area.Rooms: Elegent and nicely decorated. Fireplace is a nice touch. Very comfortable.Nearby activities: Enjoyed walking the garden, cypress grove and to the nearby beach.Food & drinks: Afternoon tea and cookies is a nice touch. Breakfast never disappoints.

My family had a wonderful stay here in the master suite room (with two king bedrooms). The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast and coffee bar (and wine reception) were well thought out and were both homey and luxurious, and the staff were accommodating and welcoming (e.g. kindly packaging up breakfast to go for an early morning flight). The location and grounds alone are worth staying here - simply stunning. My only complaint is I wish the pillows were a little softer, but next time, I'll just bring my own!

Seal Cove Inn is just the most magical place ever - its charm, coziness, quaintness and modern touches & convenience make this a truly enjoyable experience unrivaled by anything like it. This was my second stay and I'll be returning at every future opportunity - I can't say enough good things about it - from the thoughtful touches like delivered breakfast and homemade cookies upon arrival to the comforts of the room and space itself and the sheer beauty and rejuvenation of the surrounding landscape. This place is magic and feels like a hidden gem you want to keep for yourself but also shout from the rooftops because they deserve it! Thank you, Seal Cove Inn!Rooms: Cozy, fireplace, clean, homeyNearby activities: LOVE the marine reserve, moss beach distillery, closeness to half moon bay and pacificaNoteworthy details: Homemade cookies, robes, breakfast choices delivered to your room

My husband and I went to the Seal Cove Inn for two nights after we got married in 2021. Two years later, we still think about how magical this inn was! The room was large and comfortable, the fireplace added so much warmth to the stay, the breakfast at our door in the morning and the wine and cookies at night added a lovely touch... Every aspect of this place is pure magic.

Seal Cove Inn is an absolute oasis. We stayed in the Master Suite (2 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen) and it was perfect for our family. The Inn is tucked in a quiet and serene residential neighborhood. It is amazing how within 2 minutes walking distance, you can be in the center of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve cypress trees, climb the bluffs overlooking the ocean or go down the stairs to the beach. We loved the complimentary breakfast and afternoon cookies. This place is a gem.

I am hesitant to write a review because this place seems like a well hidden gem and I don't want to ruin the secret. We loved being right on the nature reserve. We were able to take a walk in the cypress grove and along the bluff overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean. Our room had a balcony and a fire place which added to the amazing ambiance of this place. Having a morning coffee on the balcony in the fresh ocean air was a treat. If you leave the balcony door ajar, you get to hear the pleasant sound of the ocean all night long. The best part of our stay was the amazing staff and their service. It is rare these days to find people who genuinely care to make the guest experience an unforgettable one. Thank you!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this lovely place. The grounds, the rooms, and the service were all exceptional! We've traveled all over and this is one of my favorite places we've stayed. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. From homemade cookies when you check in, evening wine reception, and a delicious breakfast delivered to your room, they have thought of everything. Highly, highly recommend.Rooms: Spacious and beautiful

We had an amazing stay. This place goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, spoiled with yummy food and wine, and also such a quiet place to stay. We felt like we were the only ones in the house even though it was a full house. We were the closest room to the front door which was a little louder but wasn’t a problem. The walls are a little thin but overall everyone is very respectful. We stayed in the downstairs king room and it was very clean and cozy with a fireplace. Patio was nice to sit outside and also keep open for the fresh air of the ocean. The walk to the ocean was close and beautiful. Such a great stay and will be back but next time we will stay longer. Also, we didn’t know they have a Tesla charger. We stoped and charged before we got there but now we know next time to come and charge hereRooms: Clean and updated. Fireplace and patio made the stay even betterFood & drinks: Wine was a great selection and food was beyond yummy. The fresh cookies were a great treat when we checked in. The coffee bar was our favorite. We are picky coffee drinkers and we loved it!

We absolutely LOVED our 3 nights at the Seal Cove Inn. It was particularly special in the Christmas season with their cute decorations. The room was large and comfortable and it was so lovely to have the fireplace, especially on the rainy day we had there. The included breakfast was all delicious and the fresh fruit was incredible. Wine hour was also amazing, sitting by the fire with a game and a glass of wine was just perfect. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thank you to the welcoming team there as well :)

What a remarkable inn. From the moment we arrived, Stacey greeted us like family (literally opened the front door for us). The room was magical, the grounds were magical (the seal cove, the beaches, the woods nearby that can best be described as an enchanted forest, etc), and the entire stay was magical. Styled like a French Chateau with a whimsical English garden, this beautiful bed and breakfast had it all. The staff knew (unbeknownst to me) that my partner had proposed the day before so there was champagne waiting for us in the room. My fiance said Susan was a delight during the booking process and answered all of his questions. Definitely request room a room with a balcony the views are amazing! Just when you think the staff couldn't get any better we met Ms. Mary who is their resident chef, not only did she make a fabulous breakfast in bed, but she personally delivered it too and was so sweet and kind (she packed us cookies for the plane ride home and humored us by taking various photos of us outside despite her busy morning). The service was outstanding! Mary, we wanted to take you home. Thank you all for being such a special part of this memory, we will definitely be back!!!

Great amenities, big rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast included (can be made gluten free, too). The courtyards with fountains are lovely and you can leave your window open at night to listen to the water. The location is private but next to a beautiful marine preserve. I was surprised at how affordable this place is. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience! We loved the chocolate chip cookies and Chianti at happy hour at the inn. Staff was so nice and friendly. Enjoyed walking to the marine reserve nearby and the overall chill vibe of Half Moon Bay. Would love to come back!

When we pedaled on up for our bikes for our weekend stay at Seal Cove in, we were taken aback by the charm of the entry driveway, fountain and grounds. The warm reception from the host who greeted us, offering up space in a garage to hold our bikes, delicious chocolate chip cookies, tea, an espresso bar or afternoon wine. The rooms did not disappoint with fireplaces, comfy beds, beautiful fully equipped kitchen in the suite and outside seating on the patio off the king room. Highly recommend.

Stayed here on late July and it was wonderful! Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful spacious rooms (especially upstairs). Tea and coffee on tap all day long and complementary wine and roasted nuts in the early evening. Very friendly, most helpful staff. And the breakfast - oh my ! Nothing short of a piece of art and healthy and tasty! For dinner do go to the Moss Beach Distillery which is in walking distance. Lovely ocean view while you dine and excellent food! Highly recommend Seal Cove Inn.

Loved our short get away to the Seal Cove Inn. We will be staying there again. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The back yard was charming and relaxing. We liked the breakfast. Nice choices and very tasty. My only negative is that the room had a musty order. Needed to be freshened. We will stay there again.

What a fantastic quiet little place for a nice get-away! The rooms and common areas are immaculate! The staff, Kathy, Sharon, and Kevin, are so very nice; not only nice, but also professional. Included are complementary soft drinks, coffee drinks, tea, and cookies (those drinks Available 24 hours), and a complementary wine social 5pm-6pm in the lounge. The complementary breakfast is made to order and it's delicious! There is a big choice. The ground s are beautiful and lead to walking trails which are also beautiful. I could not recommend this more highly!
