Food was good. Large portions and delicious. We had a seat by the window and it was great! Make reservations in advance and get a window seat. Beautiful views of the ocean. Service/food was a bit slow at times, but everyone was super kind! I would definitely put this on my list to revisit. Dogs are allowed and they do have a patio with fire pits.

The food was solid. Service was slow, but good. (Not sure, but felt they might have been unexpectedly short staffed.) The view was spectacular, over looking a cove. The patio is dog friendly. We had the Cab Benedict Brunch, served in a tomato instead of English muffin, with crispy side potatoes and sliders with buttermilk onion rings.Parking: Plenty of parking when we went.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families with kids of all ages.Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed they had a wheel chair lift that could take people to the downstairs and to the outdoor patio area.

Pictures looked good and this was our last night in Half Moon Bay. I took the advice of the website and made reservations and got a window seat that looks over the cliffs, ocean and beach. Our server Laura was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. She help us with the menu and tasted a few drafts and ordered up. All the food was great from the Onion soup, crab cakes prawns and chips, plus the cioppino was outstanding (Italian spicy style). We also had the special chocolate fudge cake. Great service, we will be back again.

This place is a hidden gem. It overlooks the ocean with incredible views both inside and on their patio. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is perfect. Food, my goodness, it's all amazing! The seafood platter, salads, clam chowder, their burgers and fries, the drinks, the dessert, all delicious.Go with friends, family, on a date, or by yourself and you'll still enjoy what they offer. Opens at 12 noon every day.

The restaurant is very charming and sits on top of a cliff by the ocean, for being a historic landmark they even have their own ghost, the “Blue Lady”. To honor our friend from afterlife, I ordered the drink named after her and my partner got a Caipirinha, both drinks were tasty and refreshing. As a Brazilian I acknowledged that the bartender did a great job preparing our national drink. Foodwise, we got started with their yummy bread rolls and a delicious portion of Calamari. Crisp, tasty and light, with the right texture to it. For our main dish, we got the Seafood sliders and the Pork Chops with mashed potatoes. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I particularly loved the sauce that comes with the ribs, paired amazingly with the sides and the meat. We were very full but did not want to skip dessert completely so we also ordered their chocolate cake to go, simple but well made. We had the privilege of seating by the windows in the upper level which added to the whole experience. Our amazing host and server, Susan, if Im not mistaken, took great care of us a true sweet lady. To sum up, Moss Beach Distillery is definitely worth the visit, specially for a date or special occasion.

Great food and views of the Pacific. We went on a Friday afternoon and wasn’t too crowded. We started with the calamari appetizer and bread, and it was delicious! I had the coast sliders for my entree. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. My boo liked his pork chop dish. Also ordered a refreshing caipirinha. Will be coming back!

I love the ocean; this restaurant had a perfect scenic view of Moss Beach. It felt like a cottage with great food. This was my first time so, they got all the stars and love because of the ocean view 😂. For appetizers, we had fried pickles, cheezy bread, and potato fries 🍟 (my favorite). Entrée, I ordered the kale and Quinoa salad with prawns. We had a group of 12, service was great no complaints at all.

Great views, good food, a cool building, and a ghost story! The location is the sell and the food doesn’t hurt. They have a brunch $42/person which includes champagne/mimosas, some fruit and pasties and an entree. I enjoyed the crab cakes benedict.Go for a walk nearby in Fitzgerald Marine Reserve after your meal to walk off that dessert.

The view and quietness of this location were it's high points. The interior was nicer than I thought based on photos, but we sat on the patio. The food was decent but not impressive, certain items appeared to not be fresh, perhaps canned or microwaved. We were disappointed that for the price we still had plastic and paper cups (for cold and hot drinks respectively); it felt cheap, especially for a $13 cocktail to be served like a $5 takeout latte. Servers were slow (especially when first seated) but kind and accommodating. Wouldn't go back.

The scenery was awesome, seeing the ocean waves crashing on the rocks. The outside seating area was very nice. The history of the building is located downstairs, it includes, an article of famous people that have eaten in the restaurant. The ambience gives the feel of the days of the prohibition and bootleggers and the stealingVegetarian options: They were on the menu. I did not order but felt a vegetarian could eat there.Parking: The restaurant has it's own lot, with a bench that faces the ocean, a nice place to sit. Ample places for at least 20 cars.Kid-friendliness: Two different families had one child in each of there families, The restaurant had copies of pictures for the children to color with crayons to entertain them. The acoustics in the room made the singing voice from the 3 year old boy echo throughout the room, making it hard to hear my friends voice while she talked to me.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the outside of the building it's steep to walk up, if I can do it, anyone can do it! The restaurant also has an elevator inside the restaurant in case you are unable to walk downstairs to use the bathroom or you would like to sit outside where your dog is allowed. I highly suggest you make a reservation for outside seating if you have an ADA working dog or a "pet dog" the restaurant seats you outside. If there is no seating outside and if your small dog can quietly sleep under the table without barking you may be blessed to be seated inside with your ADA working dog, like I was. Thank you, Moss Beach Distillery for the awesome service, friendly accomodating staff and delicious food.

This place is very popular! Be prepared to spend some time finding a parking 😃 The food are mostly delicious and with large portions. Only item below my expectations was the oyster. It was not as good as I expected for a seaside place restaurant. Overall it was a great dining experience for me. I probably will come again if travel near by.

They try to sit people next to the windows without asking, and they arrange most tables to have a view of the ocean. The burger was good, the clams Distillery Steamer was phenomenal. I only did not like the French fries, they felt frozen.Ample parking - if you arrive in time. The beach is close, so the two dozen spots might fill up. But there were still 3-4 spots when we left at 2pm on Sunday.Dog friendly, bunch of dog owners sitting outside - yes, you need to stick to the patio if you bring your pet.Parking: Might be the parking for the beach - but it is free, with about 2 dozen spots. It might fill up on busy days, but was not a problem on Sunday afternoon.Wheelchair accessibility: It seems they have dedicated parking and a wheelchair elevator - so accessibility to at least two of the floors should be resolved (this includes the top floor, bar and the restrooms).

After having the worst year of my life, losing both my parents within six months of each other, I just haven’t had the energy to go anywhere. This weekend we chose to go to Pescadero and hit up some yard sales, after shopping for a couple hours we were hungry and tired, while heading back to Pacifica we stopped off at the Moss Beach distillery. We did not have a reservation.Let me just start by saying the hostess was rocking it she not only had the phone ringing but a line of people out the door , people calling her on her walkie-talkie and people asking 1 million questions. She kept a smile on her face and was so professional. She had us seated in less than 15 minutes and that’s considering they had a wedding party going on . Next let me move on to our waitress, Her name is Laura. She is not only super sweet she was so attentive to us considering she had a bigger party She was also handling , the professionalism that the Moss Beach distillery showed us this weekend was very nice and comforting.Kudos to Laura thank you so much for your kindness and being so professional, it made our lunch so great and all the food came fast and delicious.

Indoors, you'll find comfortable seating alongside a delightful selection of cocktails and delectable food choices. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to make reservations by calling ahead to ensure a spot at this bustling establishment.

Pretty good food and good service. Really nice ocean view and an interesting ghost story... The fries were a little too crunchy for us, both kinds of sliders (seafood and meat) pretty good. The restaurant was a little too chilly to be comfortable.
