What a beautiful experience! John, who greeted us and helped us throughout the visit was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We spent over 2.5 hrs walking around and choosing the plants that would come home with us. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

I just love this place. Full of cacti options all the way from 79 cent "dig your own" starter cacti up to giant specimens. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. Lots of fun gifts and yard decoration and very friendly shop pets (cats and chickens). Don't just drive by. Stop and take a look. Just be careful what you touch. The plants are a bit prickly.

Great place to find a variety of cactus, some succulents, trees, and unique decore. The place to get your locally themed gifts at.Large Koi pond in the backSpecializing in desert plants and array of custom decor. Custom t-shirts and hats. Metal art from nic-naks, wall hangings, and outdoor sculptures. My favorites are the metal Joshua Trees, Yuccaman sign, UFO and aliens. For the most part handicapped ♿️ accessible.Limited parking in the parking lot.Located right off HWY 62 in downtown Morongo Valley.

Of course we were lured in by the 79 cents dig your own cactus. But there are so many gorgeous plants to admire there. We ended up buying nine of the dig your own tiny cacti. So we spent a whopping $10 some change. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and have a love for cacti. 🌵🏜️

Amazing collection of local flora…and the owner has impeccable taste in music! Cactus Mart does a LOT to promote and support their local music scene! Much appreciated.

Grew up in Yucca and moved out of state without ever going here. Sad I apparently was missing out all that time. While visiting the high desert for the weekend, I heard my former high school English teacher had her art for sale. Janis Commentz has some fantastic talent! It perfectly captures the essence of desert life and beauty. There are many other local artists featured in the shop as well. Gifts galore! Cards, paintings, metal yard art, candles, shirts, etc. It doesn't have a lot of the repeat roadside tourist stuff you get in so many places. This is all mostly local creations and plants. They also had a huge metal UFO for sale while I was there. What more could you want? 🤔Please stop in here while you pass by. It really is worth checking out and supporting local.

Great spot to find deals on succulents and cacti. Short drive from Palm Springs. Really nice store overall, a lot of nice sculptures for sale. Friendly service helping as much as needed. Cute cats that live on the grounds can pet.

This place is SO GREAT! I am a lover of cacti and desert yard decor. If you are too, then you should definitely make time to visit the Cactus Mart. We have to fly home, so we didn't purchase any of the large pieces, but we are taking home a couple dig-your-own cacti and some small, handmade pots.

What a treat this little nursery is! Fair prices, nice specimens, knowledgeable staff. My son liked seeing the chickens and cats too. They have quite a few small unique cactus to choose from as well as healthy looking large ones. We also picked up a small rock turtle for the garden. We will be back when we visit Joshua Tree NP again.

We have been looking for some affordable cacti for our place in LA, and we finally found the nursery we will buy from. They have a great selection of many things - cacti, pots, lawn decor, bistro sets, native plants, succulents, crystals, hummingbird feeders, art, and more! Not to mention they have an incredible retail space both indoor and outdoor with lots of fun roaming to be done. You can tell this place has heart with its very special vibe. I recommend coming here and checking out the goods. The best part is the price is right. There is parking in the front. The folks are willing to help you with anything you need. But plan to come with an empty trunk so you can fill it up with your purchases!

Cactus Mart is on the way into Joshua Tree or on the way back to Los Angeles / San Diego. This place has all varieties of cactus available along with baby Joshua Trees. The prices are very good and you can pick your own cactus which was fun.Small baby plants all the way up to fully grown plants are at this spot.Highly recommend you stopping in and seeing what they have to offer.

Love this place. I found them by accident and they were awesome in helping me get a Mother's Day gift for my Aunt from their collection of metal flower art. I am already trying to find out if they will ship one back to Michigan for me as I really liked the one I got for my Aunt and want to get one for on Ma's place in Michigan. Check this place out. Huge selection of Catus and other plants. Love the chickens running around!

If you’re interested in plants this place is definitely worth a stop, all of the plants here are so well taken care of and the people that work here are so nice. It was easy finding my way around because they have nice signs posted everywhere they have an amazing koi pond and $.79 cactus! I have a wide variety of different plants as you can see in the photos on your way out don’t forget to say bye to their cat!

Such a great selection of plants! We stopped here on our way to Palm Springs. I love that you can dig your own cactus for only 79 cents! Take home boxes are free and pots are cheap. There was a very friendly cat named Butch just sleeping on the counter when we walked in. The employee working was so nice and very helpful! This place was so cute and I loved everything about it! Will definitely be sure to stop by again when I visit the area.

Lovely little stop on my way to Joshua Tree with very welcoming employees. Enjoyed seeing their animals, cacti and yard decor. On my way home from JTNP I came back and picked up a beautiful blooming cactus and a decorative peacock for my front yard. I will definitely be back soon ☺️

Cactus mart is worth a visit. We came because we heard they had old cholla branches(they do!). We stayed because it is a charming place with plenty of cactus and succulents and friendly, knowledgeable staff. There are chickens, cats and even a turtle here! Plenty of fun things to see and you can take home some desert flora and souvenirs.

A wonderful stop to make on the way out of Joshua Tree (or if your just in the area in general) ! Very good variety of little plants to take home. I was also very thankful for the good advice and service provided by the staff! You'll be happy to have stopped by at the location for sure.

I drove an hour, and it was well worth my trip. I've spent a long time looking for a good quality Fouquieria (Ocatillo plant). I was super happy to find not only that they had them in stock, but they had 3 species to choose from, including native CA, Mexico and Baja varieties along with some really helpful folks working there to answer some questions about them. I wish I had room in my truck for more of them. Lots of other very interesting cactus and succulents too. Definitely recommend this spot since they have small common cacti, rare and more unusual species, and even an area with some stunning large specimens for sale.

Wow! We visited Cactus Mart for the first time after 50 years of living in the area. Actually sorry we waited so long. We just happened to be driving by one day and decided to stop in. Like I said, Wow! The property is a lot bigger than we thought and had so much stuff! Not just cactus. They have a wide array of cactus, succulents, plants and trees. They have a great selection of supplies for not just gardening. They actually have a little hardware store in the back. They have the best deals on highly rated fertilizer that I could find anywhere! And to top it off, the staff is kind and courteous! The guy was talking to, was like talking to a old friend! We would recommend to anyone and we will for sure be going back. Actually looking forward to a return visit! Thank you Cactus Mart!
