Robin at customer service was excellent and very professional. Chris at the cash register was very helpful and amicable. Walmart pay was a waste of time...Update : May 4, 2024 zero stars for Walmart.... Walmart lives up to poor customer service reputation....The entire store is open yet when I tried to do a return I was told by two Walmart employees that I can purchase as much as I want to my hearts contentBUTif I want to do a returnOH No!!! . I can't do returns until 8am!!Even though the entire store has been open since 6 am!I asked to speak to the manager Margaret who hides behind the door at the customer service center and she was very rude to me and brushed me off to me saying that her manager Tafiani won't be in until 12 noon.This is a joke of a retail store.I can't wait until tafiani gets in so I can talk with her about Walmarts poor customer service.As you can see by the pictures that plenty of employees are sitting around doing nothing yet no one.... Not even the manager Margaret can do a simple return.Also no price labels on food products as indicated in the pictureHot food section has zero hot food and zero employees to assist with purchasing foodAnd once again Walmart refused to give me a receipt for my purchaseWhich is illegalWalmart never fails to irritate and disappoint their customers.

Lots and lots of people at Walmart yesterday and lines were not moving at all. But we got through it and I scored on laundry soap "TIDE ALL IN ONE"❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️ for $13 and some change.

They had what I was looking for and people working in electronics were helpful, but people working on the registers in the front are incredibly useless. Self checkout has 2 people monitoring, but only 2 registers open??? Just open up a line then??? Then as I walked away from my register, not realizing it asked for a rating, a third person ran up to push 5 stars. No, you did not deserve 5 stars, you get 2 only because your Electronics and photo people were helpful. Just go to Target, it's not a surprise that walmart doesn't care about customer service, but man it's like they train some people to actually make your experience worse.

Need more people after cash registers. Why is there no lines for 15 items or less. Why does self-checkout only tHave three spots available but yet you have three employees in there. what's the point of having self-checkout? why aren't those extra two employees checking other people out?I shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes just to buy three items. I spent majority of my time waiting in line

I'm not sure what's going on, but I changed my star rating from 5 to 3. The shelves have not been stocked in weeks, everything is all over the place and when I pressed the button for someone to assist us (because a lot of stuff is Locked up) ; we waited for 15-20 for someone to come and they never did. We left and went to Target.💥UPDATE 💥This location used to be the better location, but it has gone downhill. I don't buy food from Walmart, but I had to go through the produce section and came across the strawberries. Do better, guys!

5 stars ⭐️ to James at self checkout. There was an elder lady in front of me in line and he went over and beyond to greet her and help her with her items. He even asked to walk her to her car to help her with her bags. We need more people like JAMES (tall dark or Africa American guy) you’re awesome 👏🏻

All in all the store itself is well maintained. Pretty clean most of the times. I give it 2 stars because of the checkout situation, at least set an additional 30-40 mins just waiting to be able to checkout. Lines are horrible ever since they have not been opening self checkout. And then you have to make line to get receipt checked off.

I shop here daily the lines are always busy they have a lot of open registers but insist on self check out with one or two cash pay the rest card. Customer service here is at times non existent. I just go because it's convenient. The Rally Burgers is good tho.

It's got everything you would need at a Walmart. Fair prices and helpful staff.But for some reason some moron in management thought to cut down the self checkout. They don't have enough cashier staff and the ones they put out are slow as hell. I went to a line and timed it and I was the third in line behind people with 50-60 items total. It took half an hour as the cashier was in his 60s and had to reference a book.If they had the self checkout I would have been out of the store in five minutes max and I only had 3 items which one was hot food so of course I get home to cold food.

I never had a good experience at this Walmart but today Geo and Daniel were AMAZING. Geo and Danny over at electronics went above and beyond to help me with my photo order. I had stop by to pick up my order from 2 days ago which something had happen with the order that it was never in the system. Well this 2 went above and beyond to help me out today. They were so friendly, professional and patience. Thank you Danny and Gio at electronics.

There's so many things wrong with this Walmart, I'd have to write an essay. But the reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because of an extremely rude lady at the Customer service section. I forgot the receipt for one of the items I was returning and wanted to do a no receipt return which I know for a fact can be done. I asked if I can exchange it with something else and she clearly stated that she can't do exchanges and must just do a return and give store credit. A few seconds later she said go ahead and go get another item that's exactly the same as this one. So now, she is saying she can only do an exchange when she initially said it wasn't possible. I'm no longer shopping at this Walmart, that's for sure. Employees think they can do whatever and treat customers however they like and won't suffer any consequences.

I started waiting in line to check out (which by way, there were maybe 4 check stands open and all of the self checkouts were closed) at around 7:50pm and didn't get out of the store until around 8:20pm. So, unless you want to wait 30 minutes or more (like a ride at Disneyland), I wouldn't really recommend this one.

Having frequented Walmart stores across nine different states and numerous locations within California, I am disheartened to report that this particular store falls significantly short in both customer service and cleanliness, making it, in my experience, the least commendable Walmart I have encountered.One of the most glaring issues is the scarcity and poor condition of shopping carts. On multiple visits, I found fewer than ten carts available, most of which were barely usable due to malfunctioning wheels or being unhygienically covered in what seemed to be organic substances. This initial inconvenience is a forewarning of the overall neglect I've observed in the store.My attempts to make simple purchases have been met with unnecessary hurdles. For instance, acquiring eye drops and a handkerchief turned into an ordeal involving excessive wait times and a lack of assistance from staff. On one occasion, it took over eight minutes for an employee to unlock the eye drops, followed by a further delay and dismissive service when trying to access a handkerchief. Such basic items should not require an arduous wait or encounter with unhelpful staff.The practice of locking up low-cost items, while understandable for high-value goods, seems excessive and suggests a misallocation of resources. If theft prevention is the concern, perhaps a more efficient solution would be to invest in better security measures or increase staff availability, rather than inconvenience customers and hinder the shopping experience.Comparatively, another Walmart located just six miles south offers a stark contrast in customer service quality, prompting me to prefer the longer drive for a more pleasant shopping experience. This discrepancy highlights that the issues at the Moreno Valley store are not universal to Walmart but are specific to this location's management and operational standards.I urge you to address these concerns promptly. Improving staff responsiveness, ensuring the availability and cleanliness of shopping carts, and reevaluating your security measures for low-cost items could significantly enhance the customer experience at the Moreno Valley Walmart. Brandi is when I bought more than 100 packs of mulches several times last year because I got to knew her.. she always proved best customer service experience and She always has a bright smile on her face, which makes me feel very friendly, knowledgable .If there's anything you can't find, ask Brandi !!She is the best one !!!

Ok experience. A lot of toys not being restocked frequently enough. Lacking of Lego sets. I'm a McFarlane figure collector and I am super disappointed that every single visit there is nothing there except for 1 figure, while other walmart has quite nice selections on the shelves

Customer Service is CLOSED?! This is crazy! Its 4:30pm on a Monday… I drove 15 miles to get here! So I wait in the area for about 10 minutes, asked for help, the nice gentleman manning self checkout calls a manager, and then, the manager who was called starts working the checkout line… uhhh. After about another 5 minutes, the manager yells over at me that Customer Service is closed. Insane for a walmart! I get it, staffing issues abound, but how hard is it to put up a sign or tell your staff so they can advise you of the closure before you wait around wasting time. I guess I’ll go back to my other Walmart in Redlands.

Waited for 45 mins for someone to come unlock the shelf where they keep the tide pods locked up. At one point, an employee had already walked by to ask if I was still waiting on someone and I said yes so she asked another employee who had keys to try and open it, did not work. They said they would go and look for someone who had the keys. Still no one showed up. I’m still waiting here and typing this review. Customer service is lacking here at this Walmart.

Had a terrible experience with store customer service. They lied and said they had closed early, then recanted, it was 6:30 and Customer Service closes at 7:00pm. Was then accused of fraud even though I had the receipt, the original card of purchase and am a Walmart+ member. I haven't felt so insulted in my life. Barbara and her team need more training on how to identify real fraud vs a normal return transaction. Then when she finally found the transaction, she gave the excuse that they've known that transaction aren't showing up do to some system "glitch". As a result, I have cancelled my Walmart+ subscription and will be making my local purchases at the nearby Target from now on.This is a sign of things to come. Walmart is no longer competitive enough for my business, and maybe not competitive enough for California. There are better options.

I went to buy a few things on a Sunday at 10 p.m. and there was no long line at the self checkout, surprisingly. Other times we have to wait for like 15 minutes and any cabinet that may require a key may take more than 30 mins to open, trust me I've timed it before. Anyhow, this experience was smooth. I like the Moreno Valley Wal-Mart, I work in the city, so when I need items, I go there. To me, it's calm and even flows to shopping there, but I have not encountered any customers' aggression. Like you see on videos. Lol
